Metro stations, street, kiosks. My friends, do you want to see a happy tourist.. the one with a mustard ketchup mustache, dripping down the chin! This little kiosk serves the most delicious hot dogs and vegan is on the menu! The staff are sweet and personable. They take the hot dog business very seriously, as they should! "Hanegal refers to a Copenhagen-based food company specializing in organic products, and it is also the name of a specific organic hot dog stand (often associated with DØP) located at Købmagergade 52A, Rehlat. The bread is whole grain, from slowly raised dough and topped with linseeds. I ordered the largest hot dog (costed 40 Danish Krones), and my sister ordered the moderate sized one (30 Danish Krones). WOW! It was one of the best hot dogs I have eaten. They nicely toast the hot dog bun, and place the hot dog in it w/ different types of sauces (mustard, ketchup & some special yellow sauce), crispy fried onions, raw onions & pickles. The flavors were really that amazing, and the hot dog itself was so savory. Highly recommended! I loved it so much, I ate one right before I left. Alarmingly, the staff seemed familiar with the thief/theft, even conversing with him in Roma, and appeared more upset with us for expressing our distress than with the situation itself. To make matters worse, the chef was confrontational and lacked empathy. If my customers were robbed in my establishment, I would be deeply embarrassed and would prioritize assisting them instead of responding aggressively. I was unable to pay for our meal because my device was taken, yet the restaurant insisted on charging us the full price, which we observed another patron pay. They did not contact the police or report the theft. Instead of providing assistance, we were asked to leave while the thief was allowed to walk away, despite three witnesses confirming he was the one responsible. Afterward, we approached the police, who informed us that such treatment of customers is unacceptable and raises serious safety concerns. I strongly advise potential diners to reconsider their choice of restaurant. While the food may be enjoyable, the treatment of customers left much to be desired.
