For anyone visiting Copenhagen, biking around the city is definitely the best way to explore. Not only can you explore every nook and cranny street around the city, but it's so much more efficient than public transportation or walking, especially considering how large of a city it is.
Well about 4-5 hours into this biking expedition, my friends and I were starving. Little did we know that many businesses and restaurants here close really early on weekends. Walking around for about 30 minutes frustrated, tired, and hangry, we finally stumbled upon Jagger Fast Food, which was thankfully open on a Saturday night around 8pm.
Jagger Fast Food has a very trendy vibe - serving up Danish burgers, hot dogs, and fries - while decked out with neon signs perfect for your next food Instagram. The menu is large and gives many options other than your typical burger, including a ham burger, pulled pork burger, and of course a veggie burger. Drink wise, they have milkshakes, beer, and frozen daiquiris with rotating flavors (seasonally, and depending on location).
I decided on ordering two fully loaded hot dogs and a frozen daiquiri, which comes in small/medium/large. You can ask for daiquiri samples before you order, since the flavors were unlike anything I've heard of. You receive a buzzer after you order and once the food is ready, you go to the pickup window to exchange the buzzer for your food. There's also a sink in the corner with water cups, aka FREE TAP WATER (a super rare thing in Europe. Really thankful for this, thanks Jagger!) My daiquiri was delicious, and while initially thrown off that my hotdogs were on a french toast-type bread, they was also great. No skimping on quantity here, especially with those yummy fried onion toppings. read more
