I had purchased a computer on ebay that apparently had the wrong operating system and a ton of bootleg programs, which ultimately caused it to crash. The owner Chris, was awesome and showed me how to prevent this from happening again in the future. He opened up my computer where the battery goes, and showed me that it has the correct operating system stamped on there.
