I'm surprised to see such any bad reviews. I found this place to have some great deals. I don't live in the area, but it's u h cheaper here than anywhere near me. I purchased some Moët Rose. The service was prompt and they had several options. read more

Prices seem a bit high to me. I'm not a regular so I'm not sure if it's covid-19 tax or Clinton Hill. The Warehouse is large enough and very well stocked. Customers adhere to our new normal 6 feet policy and queue moves very swiftly. Plus they've got about three or four tills processing purchases so I like this. In and out. No time for games. Will I be back? Tehehe. Do we need water to survive? The End. read more

poor rude service, took a customer that came in the store after me, poor customer etiquette

Liquor Warehouse claims to be open on their website til midnight. I called to make sure and I received a recording also stating they are open to midnight. I showed up at 10:45 pm and guess what? They weren't open to midnight. I went across the street to a bar and asked if they would sell me a bottle of wine but said they could not. I asked if the liquor warehouse was usually open to midnight but the bartender said they close and random times and you never know when they will close. Please don't waste people's time and advertise a business that isn't open when you say you are. read more

Liquor Warehouse is one of the best stores for spirits in Brooklyn and probably NYC. I urge anyone looking for a wine or liquor to go and see what the warehouse has to offer. read more

Solid selection of wines and liquors here. I was also pleasantly surprised to find multiple flavors of soju here as well. Prices here are reasonable compared to other liquor stores in the area. Has become my go-to liquor store! read more

They have just about everything and the prices are OK but the lady working there 10/27/21 asks me in a nasty way if I have a mask? I only didn't wear a mask because an employee didn't have one on either and other times I've walked in many people weren't wearing masks. I guess she picks and chooses when and who wears a mask? I won't support a store with a nasty lady employee. Sorry I would rather pay a couple dollars more at a smaller friendlier store. Cheers. read more

This liquor place has a large selections from spain, chile, argentina, france and more. Beside fine wine, they have liquors from volka to scotch and gin (the regular stuff) I drop by with my alcoholic girl friend for a few bottles and it's a pleasure doing business with them. the casher is behind a 1 inches deep glass and I bet that show how safe their shop is. Simply said, if anyone hold me by gun point, they won't come out behind that glass :( Just picked up two bottles of Malbec last night and boy the price is right. they have ranged from down $5 to upper $30s wine but mostly is around 10 to 15. If you are in the area, i suggest this is the best place to pick up a bottle on your way to a house party. Well have fun :) read more

I'm pretty gosh darn pleased with this liquor store. First, it's enormous. ENORMOUS. There are varieties of booze that I had no idea exist. Maybe you won't find anything incredibly rare in here but I can't tell you how many different types of flavored crap that they have procured. You can even get yourself a gallon of TGIF's Mudslide and make yourself a chocolate choo choo. If you're into that: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1GW22sAElpE Second, they do have some decent wines actually. I was sorely tempted to pull out this bottle that looked like it came straight out of Africa and somehow was still priced under $10. DEAL. But instead I was practical and went with a cheap vino verde and rose for under $15 together. And they shockingly were pretty good. The only thing that I found intimidating are the bullet proof plastic shield walls around the register near the wine deal bin and fridges. This neighborhood doesn't strike me as particularly 'hood'. My friend lives near here and I can't afford a studio here, so there we go. I will definitely be back. Maybe not for some chocolate choo choo mix but they do have a huge shelf of interesting whiskeys and flavored vodka with my name on it. read more

Do you need a massive amount of booze at great prices???? Then I think it's time we talk and take a look at your life. If you don't care to, that's cool. And I'd like to recommend Liquor Warehouse. The selection here is phenomenal and the place is huge. They have everything organized in the type of liquor you want. Vodka, Gin, Whiskey, Rum, Tequila, the disgusting stuff you drank back in college, they got it all. On the outside walls they have an extensive selection of wine and champagne. Not the best, but very extensive. If you don't see what you want, don't worry. It's behind the front. This is where they keep the expensive bottles, small bottles, and those really specific bottles your girlfriend wants. (Yes dear, I'll pick up the mango pineapple vodka. I'm joking, no such thing exists..... Pffft, girlfriend) Need a small cheap bottle of liquor? Don't worry, explain what poison you're looking for and they'll gladly supply you with what you want on the cheap. Trying to impress some people? (You don't need to, you're wonderful just the way you are) Though you can get that expensive stuff but don't fret, it won't break your bank. Your friend wants a specific flavored type of vodka from a particular company? (I hate them) They'll tell you to go all the way in the back, past the skeletons and shiny dark box which says DO NOT TOUCH, and sure enough you'll find what you're looking for. The people who work here are friendly enough. Don't go for the ice here.If you're desperate enough they'll sell it in little shopping bags which aren't made for carrying tons of ice. You're messing with a slippery slope if you take that route. This is your one stop for all your needs, before you join a twelve step group. Hi, my name is Mitch E. read more

Every now and then, my outer bourgie girl is relieved of duty so my inner hood chick can come out and play. My inner hood chick has horrible taste in wine...atrocious. She's been known to dabble in the Sweet Bitch variety (...judge not, less ye want to be judged). The Liquor Warehouse is where my inner hood chick likes to shop for wine, because they've got great prices on huge selection of crap wine (perfect for sangrias). My outer bourgie chick is horribly ashamed... read more

I've been here approximately 3 times and each time it has been to stock up on booze for nearby house gatherings. Liquor Warehouse to me is the Brooklyn equivalent of Warehouse Wines & Spirits in Manhattan (in Greenwich Village) only the Manhattan one is way better as far as better quality selections go. This place is both wonderfully large and well-stocked with some really interesting wines, some really bad ones too and lots of "no name" liquors and some well-known ones as well. Their Pinacle Vodka selection is pretty fantastic and features the elusive "Cake" and "Cherry Whipped Cream" varieties...amazing!! The selection in their chilled section leaves much to be desired and not to forget that we're in the "hood" there's bullet proof glass all set up where you go to pay for your poison of choice...not gonna lie because this makes me lol. I'll be back cuz it's big, pretty inexpensive and close to my best friends apartment. read more

Giant, tacky liquor emporium that somehow straddles the line between crappy low-priced wine shop and a "bullet-proof" glass style liquor store. There are tons and tons of cheap wines ($15 and under) mostly of the 'truly terrible' and 'godawful' varieties, as well as a few bona-fide finds in the bunch. But that's not really the point of the place. It exists to sell booze, clearly, and to do it by the cartload. The cheap stuff--Jim Bean and other moderately respectable spirits on down to the worst of the worst no-name shite--is on shelves in the cavernous main space, along with miles of bad mixers, and the good stuff--real champagne, cognac, top shelf scotch, Patron, etc--behind the aforementioned barrier. All in all it's a pretty impressive selection of liquor, they take credit cards, and the guy running the show seemed nice enough. read more

Best and most affordable liquor store around the area. Has a lot of variety of wine and liquor. The staff is friendly. And did I say the price s were affordable?? read more

Used my credit card in there yesterday and I'm currently dealing with over $4,000 in fraudulent charges to the Apple Online Store less than 24hours later. I'm very disappointed in this establishment. It's not fair to blame the store entirely but unfortunately I still have to because it's their employees. I can't trust them therefore I will never return. read more

Used to frequent this place until management started turning away customers due to a lack of manners and common interpersonal communication. There was a large Latin man, assumably the store manager that felt my friends and I were taking too long to make a decision so he decided not to let us make a purchase! He denied US service because we took over 5 minutes to choose a spirit! Never going back again. Other people were in line and he denied them service as well due to his stink attitude so they left as well. They also tend to overcharge you to my dismay! They have a large selection of spirits but beware of the shoddy service and be careful using a debit/credit card here. read more

This is without a doubt the best liquor store in the neighborhood, if there's a liquor you want they'll have it. All the top shelf stuff is kept behind a glass barrier but the staff are friendly and helpful and the place has a much better vibe than most. I'm generally just a bourbon drinker and they have all of my favorites, plus any mixers I've ever needed (including a wide variety of bitters.) They also have Everclear which was really helpful one night when I needed fuel for an alcohol stove and everywhere else was closed. Liquor Warehouse has a ton of wine and champagne, and if you're looking for Yellow Tail or Barefoot or some other popular brand then this would be the place. However, if you're looking for a great bottle of inexpensive wine from lesser known brands I would instead recommend going down Washington a couple blocks to the Winey Neighbor (between St. Marks and Prospect.) read more

I was happy to be going to this liquor store they said since i have rheumatoid arthritis they would get my four box's of wine and set then in the front of store for me and then have someone take them to my car ,Well today the lady told me on the phone they are busy and this will have to stop. When i got to the store i told her why did you promise me this then in the first place,I told her i know she is busy but i am a paying customer too and i spend almost a 100.00 every time i come in and i give the guy two dollars to set the things in my car. She then called this guy over and said look at his hands ,i said yes they are crippled up like i am she said yes, i said well then you need to hire another person that can carry things to help you customers out.As me and the guy was walking out he stared screaming and cussing at me and told me never to call him crippled again, i told him the lady in the store is the one that pointed out that he had arthritis and was crippled like i was, he screamed and yelled NO it was you. He was so mad he took his belly and pushed it into me and i almost fell backwards thank God i had my cane to hold me up ,the girls inside the store didn't even come out to pull this scramming guy off of me,I started crying and he told me to get out of his sight and he had never better see me again, i cried not he way home and almost wrecked my car ,how can people be so mean i just don't get it i can barley stand up and being yelled and told to get out of there i was trying to get in my car so fast . I will be putting a complaint into the better Business Bureau .. read more

Don't let me come here alone. I swear I will drop $200 on wine and liquor. This place is awesome. Tons of wine selections and liquor (the good ones are in the back). read more

This store gets solid marks for selection - they have the greatest stock of wines and liquors of anyone in Prospect Heights, as far as I know. Also the atmosphere is pleasant and generally not populated by sketchy characters. However I think they cheat customers, so beware. I was overcharged twice for bottles of wine, on what price rang up versus what was marked on the shelf. Also I bought a bottle of wine from them that turned out to be spoiled. There are other spirits stores in the neighborhood were you won't experience these shenanigans. read more

The wine section is huge! It has a great selection of reasonable wines. This is the kind of place where I can stop on a whim and pick up something enjoyable. Some yelpers wrote about the bullet proof glass but often when I come the door to the enclosure is open. The only down-side to this place is that parking is really limited in the area but I don't let that stop me. read more

I've had a Yelp account for a few years and never felt compelled to write a review until now. I found a parking spot right in front, and since it's over 90 degrees out I decided to run in for a bottle of water or soda. There were 2 ladies chatting with the cashier so theh all ignored me. Since I didn't see any non alcoholic beverages I kindly interrupted them and asked since I was dying of thirst. The cashier told me to go across the street then went back to her conversation. As I was leaving , I heard the 2 customers saying "why the hell would she think there was water here? She can't go cross the street.,," like seriously ? So I yelled back, "actually most liquor stores do sell water or mixers...did I upset you in some way? Am I not allowed in here?" They all just laughed at me and continue talking. As I walked out, the useless man working there actually followed me out to make sure I was leaving or something. I started to yell him about customers service and he just waved his hand at me like "shut up." So in conclusion, if you are Caucasian, don't set foot in there as they will treat you like crap. read more
