To make the most of my time, I ordered a flight (Cider, Root Beer, Light and IPA). The Cider tasted just like the name suggested, IPA is my fave type of drink and Light helped prevent me from going to crazy. I had high expectations from the Rootbeer Float one, but didn't expect it to be one of those dark, tobacco tasting beers (didn't finish). For my meal, I got a burger with all the works and chips. It will do, the only note is the mustard packets must be very old because it was hardened and wouldn't squeeze out. Oh, for the flights, pay attention to your cups, one of them chipped away and could've easily been swallowed. Wasn't too chatty after the race, but the one guy working was cool!

Not at all what I was expecting in small town Rochelle! Service was friendly and the cocktails that I tried were tasty. They also sell bottles of their spirits to go. We stopped in on a Saturday since we had a Groupon tasting coupon. We did a tasting of their Vodka,Gin,Agave and Whiskey. The Vodka was very smooth as well was the Gin. The botanicals used in their Gin made it delicious. I'm not a fan of Gin but I liked this one so much I purchased a bottle to go. I didn't try their Agave but my wife loved it with a lime wedge. I have had their Whiskey before and it is very good..95 proof. They will release their first Bourbon in November.I can't wait to try it. They offer a nice selection of crafted cocktails but not food options. Their is a nice Bistro tho across the street. The prices are higher than the grubby bars in town, but for sure it matches the higher quality. Better get prepared for how hard it is to park here. It's got a parking lot but it's full often. This was crazy the last time we came here on a weekend. People around here know it's better beer than the crap they otherwise have. You may have to park on a street. Beers are pricier than average but they make smaller batches. It's about $8 a pint. Best of the ones we had was the Highland Hairy. This is a Belgian IPA. A pretty good amount of food. There's a ton of pizzas. Most food choices are meaty. There's also wings. A lot of big and messy items. It's about $7 for the Garden Salad. A pretty standard one with croutons. There's also salads covered in bacon, buffalo chicken, and other heavy stuff. Got to be one of the places to go if you're around here. It's really busy at times, and just park wherever if you can't get a spot. They're located on the east side of town, and closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

The menu is bigger than it seems. Also has things at lunch. There's quite a lot to look through. It's about $4 for a coffee. The one I got was the Samoa Mocha. Get it cold or hot. This is made with caramel, coconut cream, and mocha. It's about $2 for baked items. They had vegan chocolate chip cookies from a local bakery, along with the usual things like croissants and muffins. Going here might be a challenge. It's busy and there's limited hours. They're closed Sundays and Mondays, only open for breakfast and lunch, and they close earlier Saturdays.

Dive bar in the truest sense…read more Sunset is the local haunt for my mom on lotto night. I went with her on the latest jaunt. I can guarantee I would have been miserable at this bar without an indoor smoking ban, but with a ban, the place was very enjoyable. The men's room is the second cleanest place you can be, that is until a few locals get well lubricated and ignore common bathroom etiquette and from what it looked like, several blind men operating fire hoses had ventured in the men's room before me. The women's room was much nicer...it's as if there is an unspoken ban on blind men with firehoses in their bathroom. It was a lively place on a Wednesday night with the hardworking folks packing the place with laughs, darts and familiar vulgarities being shared amongst the patrons. Having not stayed long enough to know it may be unfair to call it a sausage fest, who knows, an entire squad of women looking for middle to upper middle aged out of shape drunk men could have showed up just after I left.... The beer was cold and when I got my check I had to ask the bartender if it was correct, several pints had been poured between two people and the tab barely nosed over $13. So there's apparently a pretty sweet draft special being offered on Wednesday!!! The service was especially efficient. So efficient in fact, that at one point I witnessed a patron walk behind the bar to fill up a pitcher for someone else.
