There was a massive turnout which they weren't prepared for as a lot of fans got turned down. As soon as we walked in we were immediately greeted by two clerks. After browsing the whiskey isle for a good while one of the guys asked us if we needed help decided on anything. (Wasn't pushy and he asked when we clearly looked indecisive). He then let us try sample of two different whiskey brand. Definitely a nice touch and something I wasn't expecting. Like I said, I'm from Chicago and we definitely don't get service like that. We kept browsing trying to decide (the samples didn't help because they were both good!). At one point, I asked if one particular brand was worth the $42 price and he gave an honest answer and said no. I thought that was great that he gave his honest and unbiased opinion and didn't take the opportunity to sell us something we wouldn't like. I'm glad this was my first visit in Corpus- made for an overall great trip down here.The people we knowledgable and had a great attitude. Definitely was impressed enough to write this up for them!
