As soon as we walked in we were immediately greeted by two clerks. After browsing the whiskey isle for a good while one of the guys asked us if we needed help decided on anything. (Wasn't pushy and he asked when we clearly looked indecisive). He then let us try sample of two different whiskey brand. Definitely a nice touch and something I wasn't expecting. Like I said, I'm from Chicago and we definitely don't get service like that. We kept browsing trying to decide (the samples didn't help because they were both good!). At one point, I asked if one particular brand was worth the $42 price and he gave an honest answer and said no. I thought that was great that he gave his honest and unbiased opinion and didn't take the opportunity to sell us something we wouldn't like. I'm glad this was my first visit in Corpus- made for an overall great trip down here. The people we knowledgable and had a great attitude. Definitely was impressed enough to write this up for them!

We arrived after having had dinner and despite it being busy (it was a Friday night), we were seated quickly. Its got an old-timey vibe which is enhanced by the decor they use and the fact they were playing a black and white film on the projector. The bar area itself is gorgeous and displays what looks like hundreds of bottles of whiskey. We tried their sazarac and the Anastasia Grey. While I love anything earl grey, I wasnt the biggest fan of the charcoal element but thats a personal preference. It was rather busy so it took some time to get a hold of our server but understandable considering he also had other tables to focus on!

No corporate gloss, no mass-production... just honest craft. Every pour had its own personality, balanced, thoughtfully made, and confidently expressive of the wine. You can tell the winemaker is hands-on; they know their grapes and can tell the story behind each wine without turning it into a lecture. The tasting experience was warm, unrushed, and genuine, more like being welcomed into someone's passion than being "processed" through another tasting bar. We left with bottles we're genuinely excited to open, and that's the best sign. Small owner-run wineries like this are the soul of wine. If you want authenticity, connection, and world-class flavor without the hype this is your place. Highly recommended. Will absolutely return. Side note ask Pam about the name and logo
