Living in the same neighborhood as Aerodrome Distillery, I've been meaning to check it out for a while. I'm a fan of small batch distilleries and craft beer spots, and part of why I bought in this area years ago was having places like Lorelei Brewing Company nearby. RIP to that gem. After a rare date night dinner, my wife and I stopped in for one more drink before heading home. The first thing that stood out was the interior. It feels like something you'd expect to see in Austin or Dallas, not tucked into this neighborhood. It's clean, well designed, and doesn't rely on loud music. Instead, you hear conversations from a steady crowd of regulars, which made the place feel relaxed. Even though it was busy, the wait for drinks was reasonable. I ordered a whiskey sour and my wife went with a French 75. The whiskey sour was one of the best I've had. Balanced, smooth, and clearly made with care. The French 75 was good too, but the whiskey sour easily stole the show. Great experience overall. I'm looking forward to going back and working through more of the cocktail menu. read more

Military friendly and with it being one of the only places accepting RESY, I will continually recommend it to my friends. 21 year bourbon tasting was fenomenal, and the presentation of their smoked cocktails were amazing. read more

They are not officially up and running, but you can still get a tour and samples. The owner is very passionate about what he does and where he is going. He has big plans and I hope to come back and see what he has done. The place has a cool atmosphere. The bar is made of an airplane wing. Once officially open they plan to be family and dog friendly. Super clean and cool little distillery/tasting room; it's a small building on a small lot tucked back in a neighborhood next to an airstrip, which seems to be the influence/inspiration for the place as it has airplane wings inside on the ceiling and as the bar. They have a small inside seating area with some of their merch/bottles available, as well as free water and a popcorn machine. They also have a covered (and heated - though it wasn't on when we were there) seating area outside, which is also pretty comfortable and nice. The apparent was tending the bar and was glad to have us sample some of the goods. We got their two bourbons, a barrel-aged gin, and the rum; all had nice and unique flavors (cilantro) and were nicely balanced; the gin actually tasted somewhat like Dr Pepper to us interestingly. read more

Nathan Extremely friendly, sampled his vodka, two bourbons, and a rye. Walked through his idea of the business. Very open with his time. Drinks were fantastic. Vodka vodka as strawberry mg, but made good cocktails. Nathan stated he made the vodka specifically to make his hind, which are coming soon. Space is very nice with a fun aeronautical theme. Loved the airplane wing as a bar top. Nathan said another wing will become a chandelier over the bar. Wife does not normally drink bourbon or whiskey but loved all the samples. Drinks were incredibly smooth and tasty. Space is designed to be family and dog friendly. read more

Absolute hidden gem located in our backyard "YES!" In my humble opinion, Aerodrome Distilling is a must for the bourbon enthusiast. Did I mention how nice it is to have a local distillery that produces top-quality products? Nathan and Kai are extremely knowledgeable of the product and make you feel "right at home" once you walk into the door. GENEPI was my favorite, however the 19 year old bourbon and AMARO were excellent as well. I cannot wait to get my hands on a Maple Syrup collection! Excellent job my friends. We've stopped here a couple of times for drinks before dinner. It's just outside of the military base and it is kind of tucked away. But the inside and the patio area are just as charming as they can be. Great drinks, great service, and fun atmosphere. Go here for drinks and then spend the rest of the evening on the patio at Black Diamond. You won't regret it. read more

Fantastic distillery. The maple bourbon had just a hint of maple, and surprisingly not the sweetness I was expecting. The gins and rums were also great. Had a tasting and a couple cocktails. Managed to get a few bottles to take home too. I like any place that sources as much of its ingredients locally as possible. Well done. Tucked back into the deepest and darkest corner of the Bluff (and yes, this location does bring with it everyone that you would imagine, and then some) is this cool little hang out. A Unique setting, Quality cocktails, and great liquors, somehow (surprisingly) helped to set a very comfortable and relaxing mood, that made me forget that I probably should've upped my Hobo Stab insurance prior to arriving. Would have given 5 stars if not for the time it took to get drinks. Certainly a different experience for Corpus Christi, but, not sure if we'll go back. read more

Hidden gem in the bluff! Definitely the best daiquiri I ever had was from here. Really cool vibe and style of the bar has some wow factor.

We were visiting from San Antonio and lucked into finding this awesome distillery. The owner is a handsome navy pilot with a flare for making craft cocktails and an awesome concept for an under the radar distillery with flavorful spirits. Love this place! Stopped in today to pick up a bottle of bourbon and left with a bottle of rum as well! Great atmosphere and super friendly owner. Definitely a go to for me when I'm in town. The Boulevardier is my favorite cocktail and I have never had a better one than at Aerodrome. This hidden gem is relatively new but is already well on its way to being a must in the Coastal Bend.
