Although they were there for our initial inspection, they missed a lot. Case in point, 2 years later they tried to cite us for a hot tub that apparently was never registered with them! We bought the house like that! Costs/fees: outrageous for permits, expensive for vehicle stickers. Park District: very small selection of classes and activities. However, their staff is exceptional and very caring. I also love their preschool program, much better than other park districts. My son is learning so much! Police: no experience with them other than when my son accidentally dialed 911 when he was a year and a half, ha ha! They promptly visited the home to ensure all was well. Main office: conflicted about this, as they are closed for events without any heads up, to the public, but staff is very helpful. I still enjoy their involvement in the community, and they are definitely very involved in celebrating holidays!

The Company B 935th Aviation unit and the Company B 1-106th Aviation unit call this home. Both pilots and repair units stay busy here. Each weekend the Blackhawk helicopters make numerous flights across the SW side of Chicago and the southern suburbs. The flight path to enter and exit the airport airspace is east of the building closer to the fire department by Latrobe ave.
