I was in and out. Had great service from kind and professional staff members. The facility is well run and kept organized.

I was there today at 2:30. I was out by 3:00! These folks really had it together! They had a great system and were very efficient!

They will not respond or accept approve foreign LLC applications. Sent multiple retries over five months

GINA, the only "supervisor" was a literal joke - they must let anyone be in charge because her customer service was SH!T! Very rude!!! I was trying to come in and get my license again since they shipped my first one back to Springfield & was told I only have to bring the letter with me to avoid having to make an appointment. I go in, talk with Natalia - she tells me I need my temporary ID to proceed and she can get me in even though I don't have an appointment. I walked out to get it & came back to another woman, I explained what Natalia had told me and she said "let me go confirm with her" she went to confirm and came back with GINA saying I'm not going to be seen, now I'm upset at this point because I've been here for about 30 mins at this point trying to ask her how I was just told I can get my picture taken and be seen & GINA turns to her coworker and says "idk what you think, it's a full house in here" I IMMEDIATELY GET UPSET BECAUSE WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO WITH ME!! So I asked her that & she rudely cut me off saying "well all these people have appointments, I'm telling you you need an appointment!!" I tell her she's a rude ass person & she said "no you are." I ended up calling her out her name and she tried to "ban me" from ever going back. All I know is she shouldn't be no supervisor talking to customers that way, I don't know how one person can tell me I'll be seen and the next says I need an appointment to go back to the other dmv that gave me information. I think she just had a "full house" and was trying to go home on a Friday and not do her actual job. She should be fired or replaced because she's too rude of a person to run things. If I could leave no stars I would. Hire people who actually enjoy doing their job, not miserable b*tches. read more

I've been here numerous times. I've wrote a review about this place before and Yelp deleted it. People firstly don't know how to park here. Lines are out the door, expect to wait over two to three hours at times. Staff is never really in a mood to deal with your issues either. I try to come here because it's on my way to work but I've always reccomended the DMV in Midlothian over this. read more

I needed to renew my license and update my address. Arrived at 10am checked in quickly and got my picture taken pretty easy and quick. BUT the wait begins after the picture you sit and wait to be called for your vision test and some paperwork about a 20-25 minute wait. Then off to the cashier to pay 3-4 minutes and then to someone who will punch a hole in your old i.d. give you a paper i.d. and let you know your permanent i.d. will arrive by mail shortly. Overall a 30-45 minute process, not to bad for the state of IL. I took away a star for all the line waiting and another star because EVERYONE there seems to HATE their jobs and it shows. read more

If you could go anywhere else, I would. Went it in with the wife to get an State ID, guy up front says okay to all the stuff we have brought, get in back, take photo first for some moronic reason, wait an hour to finally be called -- I would understand waiting if they were busy, but they were not-- just to find out that we need our marriage certificate. Wait? What? Why? The lovely C U Next Tuesday that called our number pretty much rudely blows us off. Says that what it is. Just tired of dealing with the true stupidity from this state. Two thumbs-down for the S.O.S. in Illinois for Not having a Real ID option near downtown Chicago and for not having an appointment system! Long lines outside of the office and around the block. I gwt it that the pandemic os no fault of theirs, but our City/State needs to give this debacle some serious attention and remedy! read more

I went for renewal of my state ID card. Total time spent in this facility was less than 1 hour. There's a strange alphanumeric number system, so one never knows how many are ahead of you before your turn arrives. Anyway, staff was knowledgeable. I was impressed with their multilingual tools to facilitate Communication with the ESL clients. Lots of parking in their strip mall lot. read more

Line for drivers license is insane right now. I came on Wednesday at 5:30 am 7/8/2020 and was already 14 in line. By 7 am there was more than 100 people in line. Office opened at 7:30 and I was out about 8:20. Wait time being at the end of the line is most likely few hours in heat and sun. Better have umbrella, water, proper clothing, something to sit on and sunscreen if you plan to attempt to get in while coming here any time after 7 am. There is virtually no wait for tags, but if you need to register the car, they do not issue plates there. Went to Naperville location (driver's license line was a bit shorter but still quite a wait) I was in and out in 15 min to register the car. In both locations everyone was nice and didn't have ay problems. read more

Place is packed for a DMV, I recommend going somewhere else. Very busy place could take 2-3hrs just to renew your license. They have very good service. But just too much people comes over here. I recommend for them putting more counter staff to accompany their service. read more

Pretty easy going & friendly staff. I came in with an out of state license to take my written & vision exam. I was in & out within 30min! I arrived at 10:00am. If you have all of your documentation you'll be fine! read more

Really quite good...thought it would be a worse experience. First I am a senior citizen and on oxygen to I got to go to the head of the line. (Was even faster then the fast pass at Disney World.) Then off to picture and a little wait. Person that took care of me was great so all in all nothing to complain about...really pretty good. read more

Waited for, no exaggeration, 2 and half hours to get an ID on a Monday at 10:30! I was in 4 different line systems, one outside for over an hour. Staff was actually generally nice... I'm just bitching about the wait. They should have 3 times as many "greeters" to help get people through this process. Hell on earth my friends. read more

I wish I could leave 0 stars. This is the slowest SOS office I've been to in the entire city. Upon arrival, the line was out of the door. Their road test proctors are highly unprofessional and dangerous as they yell at motorist while they stand in the middle of the road, turning instructions are given last minute during road tests, proper identification was not showing, and when asked to identify themselves to report a problem, only a first name was given after a long pause... Rob... I could only assume it might be fake as the "ID badge" clipped to his shirt was backwards and tucked between the buttons on his shirt. Once we asked to speak to a manager, he pointed to a lady, who did not identify herself nor had identification on her person. While explaining to her the situation, she wasn't even aware of her surroundings nor the route in which the proctors take each driver. Point is, stay away from this SOS office. Avoid speaking or dealing with the manager, a short, Hispanic lady with a portable air tank, and the worst driving test proctor, Rob, who left the driver on a side street and abandoned the test only to fail and ridicule the driver. read more
