I also sent an email to the store and got an immediate reply from the manager, Val. He apologized for the incident and bought me a fresh 6-pak of the beer of my choice. I chose Lagunitas Little Sumpin' in bottles just to be safe. Val could not have been nicer and he assured me that the employee in question was schooled in the fine art of customer service. The interior is cute and old world looking but in a modern way. The staff are knowledgeable and super nice as well. Note that the prices are a bit high, but that is to be expected at a resort. A-rating, hands down. I never give higher, there is always room for improvement. These guys hit a sweet spot, with pricing, parking, quality of service, knowledge and location. They did NOT ever ask me, or solicit a post ever in the years I have known them, they don't need to nor need to beg for it.

Not the largest liquor store you'll find but adequate. I try to not be critical of small business,…read morebut something is just completely off on some of the prices here, where certain things are marked up so much you'd think they must be buying them retail price from a grocery store instead of a liquor distributor. For example, some common sparkling wine like Chandon is 50%+ more than you'd normally pay. White Claw, again, 50% higher than even the 7-11 gas station at the Beaver Creek exit one mile away, and gas stations aren't exactly the place you go for great deals. The selection should get the job done for many people, a little light on the beers, definitely on the sparkling wine, but they have the core liquors and a reasonable selection of red wine. Also wanted mezcal and they either had one or none; memory is failing me on which it was, and I know mezcal is not as popular as its cousin tequila, but most liquor stores at least have three or four.

It's very cute inside with the mountain ambiance, lots of wood tones and barrel-stand countertops all following the Breckenridge theme. My boyfriend tried the whiskey flight and loved them, there was one that smelled like maple syrup. So yummy. $8 for a flight of 3 samples. I had the candy cane vodka and pear vodka. The candy cane one was an easy front runner, i almost thought it was a lower proof because it was so easy to drink and no after-burn but it was still 80 proof like any standard vodka. And they let me try these for free! They have lots of merch, we bought some glassware. The vibe here is everything you want in a mountain-town brewery: eclectic, laid-back, and full of good energy. The staff were so kind and welcoming, which immediately turned my day around.
