Bar with character. Literally a hole in the wall. Good music sometimes too. The drinks are decently priced and everyone loves the Fast Break! This is usually a stop during a bar hopping evening but haven't really had it at the top of my list for places to stop by regularly. read more

It's fairly basic bar. Small venue and small bar I would also say that the bartenders didn't know their own menu. They had to double check and then attempt to make the drinks. They do a fair job with estimating the proportions. They do have a dart board and a pool table. They had three TVs if you are into sports. So since covid is in affect and I like to stay home, I orders this place on doordash, I ordered the Haas Burger and fries, and it got here supper quick! At first I had doubts that the amount of food I got wasn't gonna be enough but the eyes played tricks and not even half way through the juicy hot cheese burger with amazing tasting onion rings, I was pretty much full, but I finished off the burger and enjoyed the rest of the amazing tasty fries, and tarter sauce they have such good tarter sauce definitely in my top 5 fav tarter sauces! I love their vegan menu. I wish you could have minors on the patio, but I know that's not up to them. We took it to go, and it was fantastic. So so good! The green beans were amazing, their fry sauce and ranch was really good, we weren't disappointed with anything! I also loved the decor in the place, it felt really inclusive. This is one of the most underrated bars in Spokane. I'm honestly surprised more people don't know about it because all of the food I've tried there is delicious. Gourmet fast food I guess you can say. And they have a plant based menu!!! It's so rare to find a bar in Spokane that has a plant based menu (separate from the regular menu) and have it be really good. So far I've tried: The impossible haas burger 10/10 The macadilla with vegan chicken 9/10 Garlic parm cauliflower wings 100/10 Plus fries and tots 9/10 I haven't tried any drinks yet, but I've heard good things :) read more

So I typically use DoorDash for my constant food delivery but I wasn't seeing anything I liked late night so I went to Uber eats and found lions lair which I'm familiar with the bar side but have never got food (bar is awesome btw) honestly expected "bar food" but opened the menu and had so many random options which I loved all of them and it was really hard to not order more then 3 just for myself lol anyway I would've been happy if it was just decent given the time and that it had to go from Lions lair to a 20+ min delivery but... it was all AMAZING. It's probably even better fresh but I mean it's was great delivered so basically what I'm getting at is 1000/10 Stars. Great food, great menu and great quality!! Will def be back to order more, looking forward to it. read more

Has the look of a cool bar but it isn't. Weak drinks and not much beer selection. It is surprisingly dirty for decent it looks from the outside. The patrons are the real problem with this place. I've walked past this place on my way to other bars a few times and people on the patio have yelled nonsensical insults at me. Any place that serves alcohol is susceptible to this sort of person but Lion's Lair seems to be totally cool with them. The last time I visited some guy came over to me and a friend and tried to pick a fight with us for no reason. He attempted to hit me and then tipped over our table. Despite his violent nature and the fact that he shattered four glasses, he didn't get kicked out by the staff. We ended up leaving because we didn't feel safe. If they're willing to let a guy do something like that and not forcibly remove him, why should anyone feel safe. Avoid this place. read more

I usually really like this place it's a cool bar with great food but recently I've been injured and haven't been able to leave the house so I ordered take out this time... I was so excited to eat my food as it was the first thing I would have eaten all day and I could barely get out of bed to go downstairs to answer the door when my food arrived as I'm partially injured. So when I say this was quite the buzz kill...it was QUITE the BUZZ KILL. Not to mention I was already paying over 20$ for 2 items LOL but anyways I ordered the fried raviolis & they epically failed to serve it with any marina sauce?? In my opinion the sauce is kind of an important feature and it's obviously pictured with the appetizer. I didn't even think I needed to directly specify that I wanted the marinara with it. They were some dry raviolis lol so be sure to double check with them that they actually give you the complimentary sauce with the order that you pay for. Or just refrain from getting take-out or door dash from these people bc they clearly don't know how to do their jobs correctly. I also specifically ordered the BBQ grilled cheese with ranch dipping sauce and they failed to follow those basic instructions. I already think your prices are asking a little much for some fried bar food, the least you could do is follow a paying customers BASIC requests. I usually don't care if people mess up on my order but the fact that I had to sit at home and wait for some already cold/partially opened food to arrive (and the special instructions I listed were not followed) is just a little ridiculous. I'm sure dining in would be different as I would make sure my shit was done correctly but don't bother ordering take out from this bar, they don't care enough to make sure your orders correct. read more

I don't know what it will be like under new management, but I know that it has been one of the best spots in the city of Spokane. There has always been laughter, fun, safety, and complete positive energy here. The service has always been so amazing, and the drinks are out of this world. So many times I have walked in and asked for something fruity, tequila, not strong tasting, but strong; and been served wonderful tropical and colorful drink. The music has always been a variety of the best hits, and the establishment is laid back. I would absolutely tell people to come enjoy a wonderful evening here. read more

One of my least favorite bars in Spokane. The only reason I have given this place a few tries is because it gets crowded and I want to see what the hype is. The hype is usually some dubstep dj. Drinks are expensive for this type of bar and WEAK and the wait can be long. It always smells sweaty and/or like cheap fried food. It's small and the small patio always smells like weed. The crowd does have some sketchy people in. I really don't have a nice thing to say about this place. I guess the bathroom is ok. read more

Been here a few times. Super laid back whole in the wall. Music can be a hit or miss, but the Fastbreak is great and the drinks are cheap. Great place if you don't like the overcrowded dance floor scene. They have a pool table and other bar games. read more
