Since we're tax exempt, I had submitted our information ahead of time and also asked if they would possibly be willing to donate the drinks. It took a little bit of waiting, but I eventually got an answer and was able to call the store. They agreed to donate the toast and four jugs of drinks, which I was super excited about because I wanted to tell the professionals I was working with about their community program. It's something that could really benefit all of us in our programs. When we arrived, the staff was super pleasant and really nice. One employee mentioned that they were filling in and that the regular manager was the person I had spoken with on the phone. The total seemed a little low to me, so I asked them to confirm that everything on my order was there, and they assured me it was correct. We gathered all of our belongings, went back to our meeting, and started unloading everything--only to realize we were missing the fries. I called the store and ended up going back so they could make them. Thankfully, they took care of it without giving me any trouble, although it was an inconvenience to have to make a second trip. The food was delicious, as always. I'm a big sucker for their sweet tea, and even though the lines can get pretty long because Raising Cane's is so popular, they usually move pretty quickly. I think having such a simple menu helps with that--chicken fingers, fries, slaw, and toast. I'm a big fan of Raising Cane's, and I appreciate that even though our order wasn't perfect, they worked with us and made it right.
