The Holy Spirit led me to leave this review today after being a member since December 2025…read more I praise God for how He is using Mark and Kat to help people become more physically healthy while also introducing them to what matters most--Jesus Christ. Their commitment to honoring the Lord through their business is evident. The facility is always well-stocked, the equipment is organized (unlike many public gyms), and everything is consistently clean and well maintained. It's a welcoming environment where excellence and care are clearly a priority. I truly believe the Lord will continue to bless Mark and Kat, both in their business and in their family, because of their faithfulness and obedience to Him. The Scripture that comes to mind is Psalm 37:5: "Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust Him, and He will help you." May the Lord Jesus Christ continue to increase your influence, bless your work, and grant you favor as you faithfully walk in obedience to Him.

Before working with him, I'd mostly spend time on the elliptical and then awkwardly wander around the weight room not really knowing what to do. Josh actually taught me how to use the gym - now I lift, I get complimented on my form, and I love being strong! As a woman in my forties, I also really value how respectful and professional Josh is. He's never made things awkward, and as I've gotten older and my goals have changed, he's adjusted to meet me where I'm at. I'd recommend Joshua to anyone looking for a sustainable program - there's a reason I have gone back to him over the years.

I've trained with Andy for a full year now, and I can say without hesitation he's the best personal…read moretrainer I've worked with. Some context: I'm a busy executive who spends most of my day at a desk. I don't have much time, and I'm not interested in bulking up. I told Andy up front that I care about three things: better posture, less lower back pain, and, sure, looking good is a nice bonus. He didn't hand me a cookie-cutter program. He built everything around those goals. The results speak for themselves. My posture is noticeably better, my lower back feels stronger, and I carry myself differently. Years of desk sitting had me hunched forward, and that is finally reversing. He also handles my unusual requests. I dabble in surfing, and all that time at a desk made it hard to keep my neck up when paddling. Andy noticed, adjusted my training to work on it, and it has made a real difference. That is a very different ask than "make me huge," and he delivered exactly what I needed. Here's what really sets him apart: the whole session is turnkey. When I'm with Andy, my goal is to turn my brain off, and he makes that possible. He tracks the reps, follows the plan, adjusts on the fly, and keeps everything moving, so all I have to do is show up and work. What most people don't see is how hard that is. His gym is busy, with people everywhere and plenty of them trying to talk to him, and he stays completely focused on me the entire hour. That level of attention is rare. And let's be honest, I'm not an easy client. I refuse to diet, and I never work out on my own. Every result I've gotten has come from my sessions with Andy alone. That is a tough job, and he has made it work. He's knowledgeable, thoughtful, and clearly cares whether you get what you came for. His spot is near SNA airport, which is a bit of a drive for me, but it is absolutely worth it. If you sit at a desk all day, deal with back pain, or want a trainer who builds around your real goals and does the thinking for you, go see Andy. Highly recommend.

Andy Shin changed my life…read more When I turned 40, I attended a Tony Robbins event and completed a life assessment. I rated nearly every area of my life a 10 out of 10 except one: my health. That was a 2. Five years earlier, I had been in the best shape of my life. Somewhere along the way, I lost my relationship with fitness. It wasn't just that I stopped going to the gym. I lost the motivation, confidence, and connection to the part of myself that enjoyed taking care of my body. No matter how many times I tried, I couldn't seem to find my way back. Then I met Andy through a friend. From our first interaction, his energy, presence, and genuine belief in what was possible made me excited to try again. As an Asian American man, seeing someone who embodied strength, discipline, confidence, and authenticity was deeply inspiring. He wasn't just teaching fitness. He was showing me what was possible. The results have been incredible. My body has transformed, but more importantly, I've rebuilt my relationship with health and fitness. I've regained confidence, consistency, and pride in myself. For the first time in years, I feel connected to my body again. I live an hour away and happily make that drive every week because the impact Andy has had on my life is worth far more than the time spent getting there. If you're struggling to get started, feeling stuck, or trying to reconnect with a healthier version of yourself, I can't recommend Andy highly enough. Working with him has been one of the best investments I've made in myself.
