The bus I take in the morning is definitely more reliable than the afternoon buses. The afternoon buses continue to be late or not show up. Today's bus line skipped a time, so a huge crowd had gathered. Instead of splitting us into two groups, we all had to cram into one and I'm pretty sure some people weren't allowed on since we were full. If the first bus had come, this wouldn't have happened. They should have more buses running at closer intervals, depending on how busy the routes are. Obviously the ones going to the schools need a lot. On another note, I've noticed that only some buses announce the next stop coming up. It would be nice if all of them did that.

I asked about where to provide input about the bus lines and they emailed back that they don't provide greater frequency for 289 because nobody uses it. I have since retired and now use the train occasionally. I used to buy a monthly pass (discount for frequent users). Also available are daily, student/senior discounts, and special weekend prices too. Plan your trip by checking their website for arrival and departure times. The passes are not sold on the train, you must pre-purchase at the convenient kiosk. The Covina Station has permit parking, which must be purchased through the City of Covina. Across the street is a parking structure, daily passes can be bought at the machine located by the entrance. The train cars have an upper and lower seating sections, some areas have a table that seats four people. Food or drinks are permitted, but not sold on the train. They also have clean bathrooms, which is a plus when traveling with a family or distance more than an hour in duration. Enjoy the ride and don't forget to tell em that Rosemary sent ya!!

It is also very convenient and I would like to use it more often instead of going to Union Station. Unfortunately, not a lot of trains stop here (not going to all directions), some just one way but not for return which is odd. The one by Burbank airport has more options in terms of trains, but this one is better, bigger and closer to me. I wish they would schedule more trains to stop here in more directions and more folks might use their service.

Very hard to navigate. Google maps says they come at this time but we had to wait 10 min longer. None of the buses came at that time 8:36am. Also we weren't late either. We came at 8:29am. Google maps says Bay 25 but the driver was picking people up in Bay 19. I'm glad caught the bus or else Bay 25 is the other side of the bus stop and maybe it wouldn't even stop. Going to downtown, we had a helpful individual that said any one of these buses on the upper lots can get you there. There are stations on the bottom of the train stations so be on a look out of where your ride is located. Either upper or lower deck.
