Linton of Linton Carpets is the best. He has done 2 jobs for us. The first, last spring, was to install new padding, repair and restretch our carpet because of water damage in our house. His wife resewed a carpet seam as part of the work and you would not know it had ever been damaged. He came out just last week to clean the full carpet and fix a couple previous tears; again a perfect job. In addition, I had gotten overspray on the carpet after spray painting the fireplace. I honestly did not think it would come out, but Linton took care of it. He's a good guy, honest and does really excellent work. I would not use anyone else for my carpet needs. read more

I contacted Linton for stretching my master bedroom carpet which was a little over 2 years old. It had wrinkles in various places and vacuuming was beginning to prematurely wear down the carpet. After discussion on what needs to happen, I setup the appointment for a Monday morning at 7 AM for the repair and cleaning of same carpet and carpet on the stairs. He contacted me during the weekend for confirming the appointment and showed up right on time Monday morning. Considering the effort required to empty out the master bedroom, this was greatly appreciated. His work was outstanding. The carpet looks brand new now and the wrinkles are gone. The carpet on the stairs also came out the best, which had some pet stains on it that I thought would never come out, but he got them clean! Great value and service! This is the second time I've used Linton; carpet manufacturers recommend having your carpet cleaned every 12 - 18 months and I won't use anyone else but Linton to clean our carpets because of his professionalism, skill, and personality. Besides cleaning the carpet in our four bedrooms, hallway, and stairs, Linton re-stretched the carpet on one step to remove a peak that had formed over time and repaired the carpet seam between one bedroom and the hallway and the entryway to a hall bathroom, where the carpet had buckled. Thank goodness for Linton's Carpet Cleaning! I was getting ready to sell my condo in Tualatin, and immediately went through Yelp reviews to find someone in the Tualatin area (or even Portland). Linton's came up immediately with a lot of good reviews, and even though they're based in Vancouver, WA, I thought I'd take a chance. Glad I did! After some explanation and back and forth regarding the date and time, Linton Becker and his wife Nila agreed to come out with their van full of specialized equipment, all the way down to Tualatin! The carpets in my condo had some pretty bad stains, thanks to the former tenants, so I hoped they'd be able to clean them to my liking. Linton's was able to pull out all the bad stains, and used special enzymes for some others. Linton even did some minor carpet repair under a transition into the upstairs bathroom (which I didn't request, but he offered to do it at no extra charge), and recommended a wider transition piece to cover some of the carpet that couldn't be repaired. I was curious about the cleaning process, and Linton took his time to patiently explain each step. Most companies or experts would find this annoying, but Linton treated me to a "carpet cleaning 101" course! I realize this is to make sure their customer feels comfortable with their process, but this tutorial was probably the best customer service they could have ever done! While they originally budgeted 2-3 hours to finish the job, they were out of the place in just under 2 hours. They took care to protect my newly-painted walls and white door trim moldings, and answered my every inquiry. For these reasons, and the phenomenal price ($275 for deep steam cleaning of the stairway, hallway, two bedrooms and two closets, plus stain removal and the free carpet repair), I am giving Linton's Carpet Cleaning 5 full stars! I highly recommend this company, and the husband & wife expert team whose knowledge and experience helped my carpets look nearly brand new! read more

Once again Lintons to the rescue! Called them out for a living room carpet clean involving lots of pet stains. I cannot tell you how comforting it is to find such honest and upfront people. He quoted me what it would cost to treat and clean that area. I let him know I planned on remodeling with new floors in the next few months. The best experience we've ever had with a carpet cleaning company. We're moving out and wanted to make sure that the carpets were in great shape for the next residents. We have pets and wanted the carpets cleaned and sanitized. We'd had an area rug in the living room that was held in place with gorilla brand double faced tape. When we rolled up the rug the residue remained and we needed it removed. Linton came out on a Friday and the amount of residue was more than our explanation could have portrayed. He worked on a section of it to make sure it would come up and it did. He needed more product than he had with him and needed to get from an out of town supplier. We rescheduled for him to come back on Monday. Before he left though he cleaned my husband's office so he could be back at work on Monday while they did the rest of the house. Linton & his wife work together and they are hard working & a team who understand what great customer service means. Every corner was covered with a safety cone, they placed towels underneath the connections on their hoses and repeatedly check to make sure everything was ok. And they made sure my hardwoods and anywhere they worked was cleaned up afterwards too. They used a circular scrubber on my carpets with 5 vacuum hoses so the amount of water left after cleaning was minimal. Carpets were dry the same evening. The work on the residue was time consuming but their charge to do the work was reasonable. Given the quality I consider the work done to be a great deal! I consider Linton's to be the gold standard for carpeting cleaning. I won't waste my time or my money on other services that do ok. I want clean carpets and Linton & Nila deliver the clean carpets you want to lay down on. read more

My cat panicked and pulled up the carpet around the door, making the nails in the threshold exposed, and fraying an area of carpet around the door. With a crawling infant coming to visit shortly, I needed to get the carpet repaired FAST. Linton came out within a couple of days of my call and made sure I was happy with the repair before he left. He made sure all the nails were safely tucked under the carpet, even outside of where the damage occurred. The repair patch is invisible -- you would never know how much carpet had to come out to patch it. He made sure it was extra secure, too. I hate to admit that I hadn't had my carpets cleaned for a few years - they were looking pretty bad. But I had an event at my house and was expecting more than 70 people. They showed up on time and within an hour had cleaned my carpets. They did a fabulous job and got spots out that I didn't think would come out - I was so happy! I would recommend them to anyone. Just bought a house who's previous owners had a dog. Not the worst of dog smells but it was there. Don't know if it was the dog or just wear and tear but there was a few tears in the carpet as well. Despite that the carpet was in decent shape overall so I called around to see if anyone could clean and repair it before I moved in. Found out pretty quick then very few places repair carpet and those that could wanted a few hundred minimum to start and the cleaning costs were insane. Lintons was able to get over to my place the next day, clean and repair the carpet for what I thought was more then reasonable. It was almost half what another company quoted me. Great folks to work with and I will definitely be called them again when I inevitably damage the carpet. Oh yea...my house no longer smells like dog.
