I searched for help online and found AdvantaClean of Frederick. After reading their excellent reviews, I gave them a call--and I'm so glad I did. I spoke with the owner, Dave, and it was clear that he knew exactly what he was doing. He was calm, knowledgeable, and reassuring, which helped us feel less overwhelmed. Dave got us on the schedule right away, which was such a relief. He reviewed the basement, provided us with a reasonably-priced quote and we gave him our business. He and his team arrived promptly and got right to work. Using specialized equipment, they were able to pinpoint the source of the leak. They carefully removed our water-damaged sofa along with several bags of damaged items, and they did it all with care and efficiency. They then sealed off the affected area with plastic sheeting and neatly removed the damaged drywall. Dave set up industrial fans and a dehumidifier to dry everything out over the course of several days, staying in communication with us the entire time and periodically stopping by to monitor progress. Dave is not only professional, but also has a good sense of humor and is easy to talk to. He was quick to respond to texts and answered all my questions clearly and thoroughly.
