Sometimes I see this old broad, who looks very familiar, walking around. Sometimes she will yell random things at me like "Did you shower today?" Anyhoots, 5/5. If you are a bartender that's something you should be knowledgeable about. This place is not welcoming at all.. and definitely wouldn't recommend l, consider or even try to come back. Especially when the bartender has hygiene issues. Also he tells everyone that comes in that he can make them whatever they like; which is not possible at all due to limited experience in bartending and limited supplies. In my past, I have experience in bartending/service industry. As I know what they go through with people I'm a really great tipper. But for something like this, just broke my heart. It's really not welcoming and such disappointment in today's society when it's your first time in Toronto.

Their patio is like a little hidden gem but we elected to sit inside. The booths inside are huge. We ordered appetizers to share as it was late on a Sunday. The pork tacos was good but missing a flavour (recommended a slaw to help). The best dish is the peanut chicken satay noodle salad. Crunchy, peanuty and limey. All the flavours to make the salad fresh and tasty. Overall, a good eatery to try out. Just note parking is quite limited and the dishes are pricey.

It was Friday night, we just saw how crowded it was downstairs at the Little Sister Indonesian restaurant. So out of curiosity, we went up stairs and found this amazing little place! The decor is lovely, definitely played a big role in the vibe. As for the drinks, they had a pretty interesting menu of cocktails, a small but carefully curated selection of wine, also had all the traditional drinks you would want. I ordered a couple of beers and my Wife Caesar, She has been craving them since the first lock down. There not much on the beer menu as I am a craft beer fan. But my Wife was very satisfied with her Caesar's she proceeded to order 2 more LOL. The food was okay. I found my BLT a bit wet at the bottom of the bread. The fries were just average. My gravy was a bit tangy. The wings from another table smelled devine but next time I might just stick with the drinks.

During happy hour, my pregnant wife wanted to order the cheeseburger special that included a beer or glass of wine. She asked if she could substitute the alcoholic drink for a fountain drink instead, but our server was very firm that no substitutions were allowed. What made it even more confusing was that the hostess at the front was incredibly kind and proactive, offering a non-alcoholic alternative to the complimentary champagne. Because of that, it felt odd that swapping an alcoholic beverage for what would likely be a less expensive fountain drink wasn't possible. The food was good, as always, and we still enjoyed our meal. It was just the rigidity around such a simple request that took away from the overall experience. Especially as we were celebrating our last date night before our new baby arrived. Hopefully it's something the restaurant considers in the future, especially for guests who are pregnant or simply don't drink alcohol.
