My return trip was another story. After arriving back at LAX from an overnight flight from Chile, I could not contact anyone. I was originally told that I would be picked up shortly, then calls and texts went unanswered for hours. No rental cars were available for one way drop off to Bakersfield and Uber was almost $200. I was finally able to get another private shuttle service to get me back home after waiting almost 6 hours. It cost me twice as much as I had planned on. I thought I'd give them another try today. My son-in-law was leaving Bakersfield to ship out to Boot Camp with the Army. I confirmed a pick up time of 3:30 am. When no one arrived, we texted at 3:40. No response. We called at 3:50. No response. I called 5 more times as I got ready to make the drive myself. Still no response. So I drove him to LAX myself at 4:00 am.
