I am a current employee of Go-Staff, Inc. and have been since 2019 as the Corporate Receptionist in…read morethe San Diego office. Talk about enjoying what you do! (it's been this way from day one!) -Great office and branch employees all around. We work together to help others achieve a dream; to become employed and independent and to help businesses get started and grow and grow. We vet employees for temporary to permanent assignments. When COVID hit in 2020, we saw many people lose their jobs and many businesses close all around us. Go-Staff, Inc. has been a stepping stone to help individuals go back to work and get back on their feet once again. Businesses, we've been able to help them rebuild their workforce. -Our range of assignments expands from General Labor, Warehouse, Drivers, Housekeeping/Janitorial, Skilled Trades, to Office Administration. We can help just about anyone find a job and businesses find quality employees. That in itself is so rewarding to me. But here are a few more rewards I have: -Living close to the office (now I know that is a dream in it's self!). -Quick and easy commute to and from work. -Having a HUGE window to look out of each and every day. **What's not to love! Yes you understand that correctly, I love my job, really! The interactions I have with the folks who walk-in or call, to the employees to whom I work with in the office, they all make my job much easier and enjoyable. Being a "people person", this job fits me to a "T", with a bonus of helping people succeed.

I left this review on google a month ago but go staff some how made it to where no one can see it,…read morebut here you go Terrible temp agency, worse in San Diego, and I'm just gonna be totally honest with my reasons why, working at go staff you'll find out real quick that you're just a number to them, full time employment with a company from my knowledge is suppose to be the purpose of a temp agency, especially when properly applying your self, I worked my a** off every day when they sent me to a job site, and in doing so I built a positive rapport with many supervisory, one in particular let me know if I kept showing up and working how I was he'd be interesting in hiring me in June, so I informed go staff of that and for the month of January and February I was sent to that job site very frequently and would do other sites in between because this company didn't need a laborer every day of the week and I was fine with that, but when a site needs me all because I've been there once and they need a laborer isn't my priority, working at the site that is considering hiring is a priority, and I prioritize that location for 2 months and was told if I didn't go to the other job site that I'd be consequence, not allowed to work until they feel fit, go staff told me that the prioritized location " didn't need me" so I called the supervisor and asked if he said that knowing he didn't, and as expect he said, and I quote " no that's not true, I need you back, I let Jessica know that I needed Kenneth cooper ( me ) specifically" so I called go staff back and asked why the lies, , it was a very immature and unprofessional situation on go staffs part that actually disgust me, so I quit, and this is just 1 situation I explained but there's many more, now I work for trademark staffing and I'm already at a permanent location with knight construction, and mind you this incident was literally 7 days ago, so you tell how many stars should I give go staff, with in the 7 days of leaving go staff 3 go staff employees have left do to similar reason, guess where they're working, trademark staffing, not go staff, but to each its own, as far as I'm concerned go staff can go catch a staff infection. Can you imagine having to report at an office every single day at 5 am to start at a different location at 8 am, 3hours just to clock in is wild, and that's if they even have a site for you to go to, in a 5 day week you'll be lucky if you get sent 2 or 3 times, do the math, that's 6 to 9 hours a week of your time that you aren't gonna get back, plus the gas they don't care to reimburse, well I'm done with go staff if ever you reach that point trademark staffing is on Ruffin road right off the 805

The…read morecompany I am working with is going through some changes and I am seeing all the writings on the wall, so I wanted to just see what other jobs are out there just in case. I spoke to someone by the name of Adam that lied about not getting my resume a week before and also told me that based on my resume he COULD NOT PLACE ME in a job and he has being doing this kind of job for 20 years. What kind of recruiter says that to a person that is looking to them for assistance on the job search? I have 10+ years in the IT field and I have never been devalued as a IT professional the way I was with Adam. Stay away from this place. They no longer do the quality of work that they did years ago!! If I can give them a half star just for the somewhat competent receptionist I would.

I use to enjoy working for this agency successfully completing assignments with various companies…read morethrough Volt at the Hazard Center location. Since my contact Jonathan Montalvo who was AWESOME left, I was told that my new contact was Kristi Runge-Vaughn. Since then I have had no luck with Kristi assisting me with employment opportunities and little to no contact at all. I since found another agency who has been awesome with me assisting me with job placement with hourly wage that they know that I have proven to deserve. Last week I received a call from Volt (Natalie) after all this time (since January 2018) for a part-time opportunity which I was not able to take due to the fact that I'm currently working a FT position. Natalie in response began to belittle me saying that I didn't have the necessary qualifications that was needed to fill the position anyway. I felt that her response was very unprofessional, unethical, and rude. I have proven myself to be an asset to Volt in the past years, but to receive this kind of treatment from recruiters like this is unethical. Signed, SHOCKED!

I went to this Office after knowing i was going nowhere and played at the Previous office, Everyone at this Office Is Great they all work as a team no one is competing against one another. They all helped me go thru my process from the beginning! They all make sure that this is what you really want to do from SGT. Dean, SGT.Lindsay, SGT.Win, SGT.Shin, SGT.Kong, and Future Soldier Leader SGT.Price. They all make sure that when you make this big decision theres no going back. They are Great, Fun, very Friendly Recruiters. But they know that every step till you leave for Basic Training is 110% important as well!! Im glad that I saw the other reviews on Yelp for this Office, and if you would ever ask me what office should I go to sit down and ask Questions Kearny Mesa US Army Recruiting Office is the place I would tell you to go and the only place I would tell you to go. There are a lot of Recruiting Offices out that have Recruiters that just look at you just as a number they need to get for there quota, But Not Kearny Mesa they look at you as A person making a Great descision and help you get the Job you want if its Active,Reserve or getting you the Job that will help you for the future Civilian career you always wanted. So I tell you again If you want to go into the Military as a career or for experience and your thinking about Army as the Branch the Go visit or give call to Kearny Mesa Recruiting Office.

Email exchange between my mother and I:…read more Mom: Hi, how are you? Did you get things worked out? Let me know about church today. Me: No I'm still confused. I'm thinking of joining the army as an officer. What do you think of that? Mom: well now you have really lost it. church what time? I still decided to go in and talk to a recruiter. They wanted me to take a pre ASVAB and I was like "woah, I just have questions, not trying to move forward in any way at this point." Glad, I did that, because just an FYI at the point of an application, they have to document everything, prior to an application it's "off the record". Keep that in mind when you decide or don't decide to disclose things that may immediately disqualify you if you were to tell them. Do your research prior. I spoke to Sgt. Kong, super nice guy, a a bunch of other guys who came up to answer questions. I was there for over an hour, was going to apply and then learned about some things "off the record" and decided not to. If you have the ability to join the reserves as an officer (what I wanted to do), I highly recommend it, but go in and educate yourself without doing an application first.
