I am so happy that I went here. This was a last minute plan... I was shopping in Soho decided I wanted a facial at like 5:00 on a Sunday and found somebody recommended them on Reddit. Walked in and there is an immediate calming vibe. I decided to get the hydrating facial which lasted about an hour. They did an amazing job on my skin. I highly recommend this place. The hydrating facial is $88 And then whatever tip you want to leave. read more

It costs about $60 for the essence facial, which is honestly amazing value for all the it includes. I think I was there for 2 hours - my person plucked my eyebrows, gave me a massage, on top of all the usual facial work. It IS a shared space - so there may be a few individuals in the beds next to you. I looked for awhile and have tried so many places - but for the value and effectiveness, I will always go to/recommend this place. Others mentioned they didn't like sharing space, which is totally fair - I just think for this price, it's well-worth it and I've not been able to find anywhere else for what it provides. read more

This has been my go-to facial spot for nearly 10 years! The experience is always consistent and so relaxing. I came with my husband so we had a room to ourselves. When you arrive, they'll have you change into a tube dress and get comfortable on the treatment bed, where they cover you with a blanket to keep you cozy. The facial itself is amazing, my skin always comes out glowing. They start by cleansing your face with cotton pads, followed by extractions to clear out blackheads. Depending on the package you choose, you'll also receive a facial massage, a treatment mask, and a neck and shoulder massage. Don't forget to bring cash for tips! read more

--Avoid esthetician in the pic. She's rude, judgmental, and openly gossips to colleagues about client's skin + people. We left with remnants of mask/tissue paper in our hairs. Thorough clean off doesn't exist here. It is what it is. Visiting NYC and I came here with my partner for a 1st-time facial (TikTok hyped), hoping for a relaxing experience--and unfortunately, it wasn't what I expected. When we arrived, my partner was shown a pamphlet and given facial options. But when I expressed we were there for their 1st-time $49 facial deal, I received a mean mug like and was told--very abruptly and loudly "YOU CANNOT" because I "have acne." She traced the perimeter of her forehead with her finger to demonstrate where she noticed my acne was. Yea ok, not necessary from someone who's not even doing my facial . I felt like I was being pushed into the acne treatment ($80) simply based on my skin type, even though I was coming in for a relaxing experience. Mind you, I don't even have acne with pustules on my face. I have some dark spots and merely 3 beneath the surface ones on my forehead that shouldn't be popped anyways! My analogy to my personal facial experience: it's like going to a restaurant deliberately knowing I want the veggie salad on the menu and being told I must order steak just because I'm a carnivore... My esthetician was more gentle with her verbal communication and explained why she recommended an acne-targeted treatment. I appreciated that. But even with that care, the facial included painful extractions and high-frequency zapping that left me tense--not relaxed. I also didn't receive a facial massage because I have sensitive/acne prone skin--which I understand not wanting to disturb my skin BUT I received a very relaxing facial massage last month (in June) where I live. My skin condition's no different between last month and today ‍--just a difference of place and person treating my skin. Ultimately, this wasn't the facial I came in for. I was eager to leave after my initial interaction. The estheticians are focused on directing clients rather than good ol' plain listening. There's language and maybe a cultural barrier. I've had better, more respectful facials elsewhere--even those tailored to my acne-prone skin. The LLB team should consider balancing skin expertise with sensitivity and customer choice moving forward. read more

I've been coming to this spa for years. It's not a luxury spot, but the service is usually good and the environment used to feel more relaxed and welcoming. Lately, after the spa gained popularity on TikTok, things have changed. Rooms that used to be reserved for small groups are now often shared with multiple parties. While I understand the business side, this shift has made the experience less comfortable. Some newer patrons--often non-Asian--have behaved in a passive-aggressive way, hushing or gesturing at others instead of simply asking politely for quiet. At times, it feels like there's an assumption that Asian guests don't understand English or basic spa etiquette, which can be both frustrating and hurtful. Staff have always been respectful, but I hope the spa can find a better balance between growing their customer base and maintaining a respectful, inclusive atmosphere for everyone. read more

I'm a big fan of Chinese beauty practices and philosophy. Saw this place on IG Reels and had to try it. I told my aesthetician that I have sensitive skin so I my facial was pricier than what the Reels said but it was worth it. Skin felt refreshed and clean afterwards, and I was inspired to buy a couple more services. Salon is a no frills kinda space. Cute entrance, but it's really all about the quality service. They have lots of other & specialty facial services. The menu is in Chinese mostly but the staff were super friendly. If you have any questions or request, just ask. It's tucked deep within Chinatown so if you're not a local or not comfy with subways, maybe skip this. But if getting there is no issue, you should definitely try it! read more

LOVED it. I came in from Chicago for a gala and badly needed a skin refresh. My facial did not leave me red. They gave me a thorough face and neck massage- much needed after the flight. And extracted even my most stubborn pores that my esthetician couldn't get last time. I'm pregnant, so the extractions were a bit painful but in the end- extremely worth it. I will be coming back! read more

Highly recommend this place if you're looking for an affordable high-quality maintenance facial. The staff is always responsive and will do their best with accommodations. They do have large rooms so you can share a room with your friends and limited private rooms that you can request when booking an appt. I love how relaxed and refreshed I feel after each session. read more

Facial was ok-- similar to what the previous reviewers had said- would have enjoyed myself more if I wasn't in a shared room. There was a lot of talking. Also didn't feel like my treatment was personalized enough for me read more

Reasonably priced, and a lot of bang for your buck. I booked this with a friend and we were able to get facials in a room together. They also included a great upper body massage with our facial. We come back here each year to treat ourselves! read more

I tried this place for the first time today and it will likely be my new go-to spot. Prices are very affordable. I had a facial and massage for $150 total. Both were very detailed and thorough and their costumer service was top notch. Only thing is services will be done in a room with multiple people. There is no private spa room experience. read more

Ling Ling Beauty is AMAZING!!! I came here after reading so many positive Yelp reviews, and this place certainly didn't disappoint. I haven't had a facial for a whole year and also ain't the greatest at taking care of my skin. Used to be a swimmer and I hate putting on sunscreen.. you can imagine how dry and damaged my skin is. I made a same-day appointment and Hannah happily took me in. The whole process took about 1.5 hours. They first "steamed" my face to open the pores, and Hannah gave me a neck + shoulder massage while that happened. After that, she spent a good amount of time extracting all the whiteheads and blackheads. This was followed by a thick, cooling mask that made all the pain from extraction go away. Hannah was very patient and gentle. Unlike many beauticians, she didn't diss on my skin nor try to upsell me anything. I felt very taken care of and respected the whole time. I did the $88 stem cell treatment per Hannah's suggestion and ended up buying a 10-time package for $680 because I'm so happy with the result and their service! You can pay for your package in installments. My skin feels so soft and clean -- love this place so much and can't wait to come back already!!! read more

I got the essence facial and my face feels great afterwards. For the price ($60) it was a great deal! The facial happens in a room with space for 3 people, it's not private i believe. Hannah did a great job, i got a facial, a face massage and a neck massage. I love it so much I ended up getting the 10 pack facial which is even a better deal! read more

Wonderful aestheticians perfect eyebrow shaping really patient and they took me right before closing

Great facial and prices. Skin came out feeling great. For men, they don't offer a shoulder and neck massage even though they're the same price as the basic facial for women. But I'd still come back read more

I got the acne facial and it's just two days later and my skin looks so much better. The breakouts I had going on for more than a year are slowly going away, specially around my forehead and temples, my cheekbones still are recovering a bit so we'll see in a week. Overall my skin feels smoother! The spa is also really nice and clean. The service was around 2.5 hours, and covered extractions, masks, LED, massage, and eyebrows. Tiffany was great, she was really considerate and gave me skin advice. Will be coming back! :) read more

I've been coming here for almost a year now and I love it! My skin was breaking out and leaving severe scarring all over my face and nothing it did on my own could fix it. Jasmine recommended that I do the "resting peel" and I saw a difference in my skin within a week. Now I come here every month alternating between the peel and the "stem cell hydration" treatment and my skin is so happy. The treatments are pricey but it's totally worth it! I would recommend going for the package! The treatments are usually 1-1.5 hours, very clean and relaxing environment, you get your eyebrows plucked with every treatment and a shoulder massage ! One thing I will say is that you don't get a consultation when you walk in... they see your skin and just recommend a treatment but you don't necessarily find out what's in the treatment and why you need it. But since it's working I don't mind . read more

I've been coming here for about a year, and this is by far the best facial I've ever gotten! I used to work at a high-end esthetician spa in LA, so I'm incredibly picky when it comes to the details of facials. The extractions here are PERFECTION. I've never been left with scars and the facialists are understanding if/when you're in pain and need a couple of seconds to breathe. I usually get the acne treatment facial and have been satisfied every single time. I've received two facials from other places while out of town and have been insanely disappointed. I will never stop coming here!!! read more

This was a really professional beauty spa located in Chinatown, New York. The ladies were all good at speaking English and able to help me select the right package for me. They were attentive and detailed and it was clear that they used high quality products. Even better was the fact that their prices were extremely reasonable. I would definitely come back! read more

Had an amazing acne facial last week and my skin is still feeling great. I am very acne prone and i have not had a breakout since my facial. My specialist spent 2 hours taking care of me. It was 88 dollars for the second tier acne facial with mask and i will happily do it again next month. read more

If you're looking for a place that will do thorough extractions, look no further! Unlike most spas that limit your facials to 45, 60, or 75 minutes, the estheticians at Ling Ling will take as long as needed to clean your pores. My facials here regularly average 1 hour and 40 minutes (probably embarrassing that my pores need this much cleaning). I usually walk out with a slightly reddened face, but the marks will mostly go away overnight, leaving my skin smooth and tight. Just note to plan accordingly when you make your facial appointment! The extraction part is no joke pretty painful, like tear-inducing, but I usually forget about the pain thanks to the excellent complimentary upper back/neck/shoulder/arm massage I receive while my face is getting steamed. Also the general face massaging and masks feel awesome as well. No, this is not the type of relaxing place where you get a quite private room with an esthetician that can hold long conversations in English with you. However, for the price (starting at ~$55 with options for add-ons like LED light therapy, microdermabrasion, peels, etc.), this is honestly the best bang for the buck and effective facial I have found in New York. read more

Fantastic facial. My pores look so much better and the price was very good. Highly recommend.

I have generally good skin, however; there was a problem area where I touch my face too much. I had puffy dark under eye circles from a combination of allergies and too much time with technology. I had never had a facial before coming to Ling Ling Beauty. They did the thorough extraction and and under eye treatment. My skin was glowing for the next few weeks and the problem area cleared up. :) read more

We got there so late but the young ladies there still received us so kindly. The cost of the facials that we got was well worth it. We got the essence facial for $55 and other my skin had an intent glow. Cons was the pimple and black head extractions was painful, but it was quick. at first my face was red and you can see the bump that's had Ben extracted but the next day my face was clear, soft, and bright. If I lived in New York I'd definitely make this a regular spot. read more

I've come to this place since their old location and always as a walk-in. Never bothered to buy heir packages either, as I prefer to try out different treatments each time. They give great massages during the facials and would also clean up your eyebrows. Last time, I had the acne treatment and held in my tears the whole time as everything was painfully popped. At least I know they're actually getting deep in there and clearing out that junk. No pain no gain! There's one star deducted because one time, a technician burnt my skin while waxing my brows, and even then it came out uneven. I would suggest asking to get them plucked instead. read more

I found Ling Ling Beauty when I moved to New York and have been with them after. The ladies are thorough at cleaning your face and super accommodating. I did the facial with ALing today and it was beyond exceptional! She was so patient, nice and professional. I had about 20 acne white heads on my face and she cleaned every single one for me. So worth it! read more

I have been a regular customer since a friend made the recommendation more than a year ago. I've had facials at several Manhattan locations, but this place is the best. The prices are reasonable and they even provide things like a shoulder massage and eyebrow care. It's very clean and they are following a good Covid-19 safety protocol. The technicians are excellent, taking their time, careful, and giving advice to improve your skin. My husband and friends keep saying that my skin looks great. We tried this place for the first time today. The place is clean which is pretty surprising considering where it actually located (no offense but it is c town). I had Wendy as my beauty therapist. She was very thorough in cleaning up blackheads. Her massage was really good. She was well mannered. I would definitely recommend her if you stop by this place. Guess Top Beauty closed and clients were re routed here. I came at 5pm on a Sunday and had a regular facial with Javy. The routine is similar to all the places, with extra nice touches. Ie the products are better (the masque particularly smelled good like green tea) They attempt to keep it quiet and relaxing unlike Sai Kay.. They massage you for longer. They attempt to get more careful with extractions. I didn't look spotted red and scary when I left but that could have been my skin condition. With any Chinese facial place, the routine goes: - steam to open pores - facial massage including tender points of your sinus, neck and head/cleaning of the skin - shoulder massage and towel under your neck for the rest of your facial -extractions (owwy) -antibacteria machine that zaps any germs -The ice machine (this cold/steel thing that reduces redness), if you choose to get that. These machine treatments is what makes this better than Sai Kay -a masque which lasts for about 30 minutes Then they wake you up and give you a shoulder massage. The location is a bit de central to Chinatown which could be both good and bad, depending on who you are as it's near the D Grand St stop as opposed to Canal. I felt that Javy was quick and effective so recommend her but every person on the staff seemed reall nice. Nicer than Sai Kay and less pushy. But then again, Sai Kay is less expensive so that's that. read more

I visited Ling Ling Beauty Skin care for a facial while visiting NYC. Tina worked on my face. She gave an excellent neck and shoulder massage and good face massage. However, since I haven't done a facial in several years, I have quite a few whiteheads to be extracted. I don't feel like Tina gave enough time for my extractions and kept saying that my whiteheads have been there too long to be successfully extracted. While there is some truth to that but she left a few good size whiteheads that I was able to do myself later at home. Since I didn't have a mirror at the time, I wasn't able to tell her which ones she could have extracted. I have done extractions on myself for a long time and I know my whiteheads. I have been doing skincare regimen for a long time and usually gets compliment on my skin. However, Tina told me that my skin is very thin (yeah, I do exfoliation) and this shows poor skin health. She just has no idea!!! I use vitamin C serum religiously and she acknowledges that I have very tight pores. (yes that's due to my skincare regimen) And it's poor form to bad mouth your client's skin in order to get more business. Anyways, I was not allergic to their products so when I am in NYC, I may or may not go back to Ling Ling but I will request another person. I did not purchase any packages from them. I paid full price and tipped her 17%. read more

This was a complete and utter disappointment! If you call damp tissues a facial then this is for you. I was there for two hours.. not entirely sure why because all she did was use one solid mask, a mediocre shoulder massage and then let me sit there for 45 minutes. When I took off the mask myself and went to the reception area to leave I caught her having lunch... she then proceeded to ask me if I wanted to buy a package.. strong pass on that thanks. read more

I have been to many different spas, from high-end at the Ritz to mid-range spas, and I have to say the facial I received at Ling Ling was the best. I made an appointment for 2:30pm. It was storming in NYC that day and the trains were extremely delayed. I did not get to Ling Ling until 3:20pm. Since I missed my appointment by almost an hour, I expected to be waiting, but they took me in right away. At first, I did not have high expectations as I saw that the facial tables are in a shared room, unlike the private rooms that I usually see. You share a room with 2 other clients. I decided to go with a hydrating facial. The facial starts with a thorough cleanse of the face, followed by a nice, long and thorough massage of the shoulders, neck, and upper back while the face is being steamed, then a very very thorough extraction session. There were extractions in places I didn't even know I had an acne. The lady showed me one of the extractions and I was wowed. After the extraction, she continued to work on my shoulders, neck and back of my head. She offered to clean up my eyebrows and I agreed (it was free of charge). My favorite part was the cooling lotion that she put on my face after the extraction. She massaged my face very thoroughly and hit all the points that would help with lymphatic drainage. I very much enjoyed the facial massage. The facial massage follows with a nice thick mask that lasted for about 15 mins, then a wipe down and final application of lotion. The whole facial experience lasted about 1 hr and 75 mins. My face felt amazing afterwards. I am most impressed with how clean, tight and moisturized my skin feels. I didn't even mind sharing a room with 2 other clients because the facial itself was amazing. I only had intentions to get one single facial, but after the session, I decided to spend ~$550 for the 10 facials package, because I know I will be coming back here very often (already made my next appointment). I highly recommend this place. It is not the most fancy and glam spa, but the facials are amazing, and you really get your money worth. read more

I called to make an appt. based on the perfect reviews on yelp, and now I'm suspecting false reviews. When I called, I inquired about any first time deals/ promo and was advised, none. $55 for the first time but I have the option to choose the package deal at the end. Ok, fair enough I thought since $55 isn't expensive. Fast forward, before I even walked inside, I saw promo deals posted on the store front. Basic facial for $19 and deep cleaning for $29...so when I went inside (skeptical at this point), the girl javy? I spoke with on phone quickly opened up a pamphlet to shove it in my face to try and explain the $55 facial she told me over the phone. What about the non-existing promo that's posted all over? Whatever, I'm not cheap and didn't mind paying for full service to get an honest try, which is why I don't understand the 5 stars?! 3 stars max IF MY FACE DIDN'T END UP WITH A PRETTY BAD ALLERGIC REACTION. The facial for the most part was typical, nothing spectacular deserving of 5 stars, esp. when the facial is done in a common room (typical in ctown) you share with others, which can be annoying when people don't silent their phones and staff going in and out. So to be fair, 3 stars except for this, the killer....my skin is dry and thin which she was well aware of, as any aesthetician can easily see...so why put a mint (a natural astringent) mask on my face? And then when I told her it's starting to burn, she insisted it's natural to help with inflammation and helps with pore tightening....uh...which my face has need for either. Maybe a moisture mask would be more appropriate?!! I told her again it's burning and by this time, I knew the damage was done. She removed the mask, but kept saying things to downplay her apparent mistake. I am now using desonside steroid cream on my face to fix the burn. read more

What can I say? Im satisfied! My first facial experience is with Ling Ling Beauty Skin Care. The experience was excellent because it was thorough, relaxing, and complete! I am a fashion model so I wanted to be careful who I went to for my first facial, and I must say, that I will continue to go to Ling Ling Beauty Skin Care. Upon going to her I was skeptical because it was so affordable, and being that this was my first facial, I didnt know what to expect: most other facialists in manhattan were too expensive for me and I heard a lot about people not enjoying some facials.
