Tristan, the owner and injector, was the one who treated me. She added Radiesse filler without disclosing that it was non-dissolvable or that she was using two full syringes (I had never done Radiesse before). That's a lot of filler and would never ask for that much. A couple of months later, I returned with photos showing the noticeable unevenness. Also who add 2 syringes to only one side??? Obviously there's going to be noticeable unevenness. A skilled injector wouldn't do that. Instead of addressing it properly, she added more filler to the other side bringing my total cost to over $1500. There was no clear breakdown of costs or communication about what was being done at each step. Honestly it felt like her priority was getting me to spend as much money as possible. She used products I wasn't fully informed which left me feeling taken advantage of and disrespected.

This year I'm visiting her every other month. My skin has never looked better! I am so happy when a friend or family member remarks that my face is glowing! Here is a little background about the experience: When I schedule an appointment, an email comes out approximately two days prior to the visit requesting me to confirm, reschedule or cancel the visit. A single text message reminding of the visit arrives shortly before the visit itself. Skin Radiance is located on Bay to Bay in Tampa, and is conveniently located right off I-275. There is ample parking, and the office is located on the corner of the building so this is an easy jaunt from the car to the front door. SR uses Mangomint Spa and Salon software, so a text arrives approximately 15 minutes prior to the visit, requesting the guest to acknowledge arrival and wait in the car in the parking lot until directed to come in....which normally takes just a few minutes. The SR lobby is calming and and aesthetically pleasing, with a large window facing the street so there is wondrous lighting. SR has two treatment rooms on the left hand side, on the way to the rest room in the back. The rest room is feminine and there are rolled washcloths in a wall dispenser to dry the hands, with a dedicated bin to dispose of the soiled washcloths. The treatment room where I meet Mercedes is small but tranquil. There are diaphanous sheers on the interior wall which are adorned with steady fairy lights. The lights are dim for the guest, and there is a burning candle which adds ambience. Additionally, there is soft music playing in the background that is calming. Mercedes has been my only aesthetician since my first visit. She is 20-something, enthusiastic about her job, a subject matter expert in her field and highly enthusiastic. I am encouraged to contact her if I have any questions or concerns about my skin after each visit. Moreover, Mercedes is beautiful both inside and out....and madly in love with both her handsome husband their adorable three year-old daughter! I highly recommend SR and Mercedes, and plan to continue my treatments there!
