I have seen chiropractors throughout my life and had started seeing rolfers several years ago. I found Dr. Lindsey Morin online and to my amazement she was both - the absolute best of both worlds!!! I booked her first available appointment which took several weeks but it was clearly worth the wait. I had been seeing Dr. Morin for a couple of years before the pandemic hit in 2020. Beginning the last several months of 2020, something had gone very wrong with my leg muscles. The pain was very hard to manage - sitting and sleeping were difficult, standing was extremely painful and walking became almost impossible. Lindsey is great. She has helped me manage a troublesome shoulder and remain pain free with the help of my monthly Rolfing visits. I had plateaued with physical therapy and the Rolfing treatment keeps me in good shape. (Rolfing is a specialty type of massage that focuses on the myofascial system (connective tissue). A couple of years ago I had been suffering a second very painful bout of Plantar Fasciitis and nothing seemed to help.  It was difficult to walk! A friend recommended that I try a Rolfer and I was fortunate to find Dr. Morin, who is a Chiropractic Doctor as well as an Advanced Certified Rolfer, unique qualifications. Dr. Morin is very nice, and, in a very easy and kind manner, listened to my physical problem, quickly identified the issues affecting me and in three sessions, resolved my Plantar Fasciitis problem. The pain was gone - never to return. A year ago I had a physical injury resulting in my having corrective left ankle surgery to repair severed ligaments and a damaged tendon. At my age, 77, recovering from this surgery was, and is, a difficult and lengthy issue. Dr. Morin again has been successfully working with me to rehabilitate and strengthen my left leg and ankle. These treatments, performed by Dr. Morin, are helping me to walk and run again. I do have regular Rolfing maintenance sessions with Dr. Morin that allow me to maintain my posture and flexibility as I age.  During these sessions, I have noticed that these treatments and consultations have greatly reduced previously painful problems before they develop into becoming a critical issue. This process has successfully led me into other areas, such as losing weight, which reduces the load on my leg. I recently learned about Rolfing through a friend who swore by this technique. I have suffered from back ache and sciatica pain for years and tried pretty much everything you can think of with no real results, only temporary relief. This was my last option before meds and luckily for me it has worked! My back pain is little to none and my sciatica pain is gone. Honestly, this treatment is worth every $$$ and I would highly recommend to anyone suffering from body pain. I have been doing a Rolfing 10 series with Dr. Lindsey and I'm so pleased with the progress. From our first phone consultation, Dr. Lindsey was very communicative. Listened to my wants of rolfing and set me straight on what could truly be accomplished. I've met with her every week for seven weeks and as I near the end, I know I'm going to miss my weekly session! At week five, I rolled over one night and awoke.
