I came thinking it would be a quick place to grab a late lunch. I ordered a tuna sandwich and after 45 minutes they still hadn't started it yet. Was told they were short staffed as reason for the wait, which I can usually understand EXCEPT that they had about 5 staff that I could see. One was clearing off tables (when there were pleanty of clean tables), another refilling the pop area (even though it was mostly full). I finally asked for a refund and left with no food. read more

Both my husband and I agree that this is the best sandwich place we've been to in a long time (Zingerman's in Ann Arbor being the last place in mind). I got the Ferris Brieler and it was so so so good. The turkey, brie, apple, pesto combination? Magical. The ciabatta bread was so fluffy, not hard and chewy like other variations I've had. My husband had one of the best reubens in his life. We didn't indulge in the haagan dazs but appreciated that it shared the building! Vibes were great and I'd go there again! Meh. That is the best description I can provide. We love a wonderful deli and all of the deliciousness of a well done pastrami or corned beef. Between the prices and the location on Pearl Street we were expecting awesomeness. This place was jam packed with customers. The menu boasts some pretty outstanding combinations of sandwiches, soups and salads as well as a big selection of Haagen Daas ice creams. My fiancé ordered the Rocky Mountain Rueben. The Thousand Island didn't have the tangy kick of flavor that usually accompanies it. The meat didn't have much flavor. I ordered The Four Seasons Salad which has chicken, bacon, apples and avocado. The salad came out in a plastic box. It had very little in the way of avocado or apples. Some of the lettuce was brown which completely grossed me out. The chicken that topped it was pretty good. I guess for $30+ dollars I expected something a bit more. I would probably check someplace else out next time. read more

On a cross country road trip and staying with family near Boulder. I was checking out the downtown and inevitably the yummy smells of Pearl St. made me super hungry. I couldn't decide what to eat but finally settled on a classic sandwich when I came upon this place. I got the pearl st veggie and it was pretty bomb! I wish there had been more avocado on it, there was just one small slice on each half. But otherwise, the flavors were on point. Wow, this was a great surprise! Looking for a light lunch while visitng my girl at CU and we stumbled into Lindsay's deli on Pearl street. I don't give 5 stars often but the matzo ball soup, tomato basil soup, New Yorker sandwich and grill cheese were great! As a jew when your kid says " wow this soup is better than grandma's.. it get 5 stars!!!! To top it off we can get a scoop of ice cream on the way out! Doesn't get any better! We always wanted to stop in and try some of their sandwiches, finally did.......and were not disappointed! we tried The New Yorker and The Reuben...delicious! We also tried one of the 'soup of the day' and were terribly disappointed, but not to worry! It was a new recipe the chef was trying and just didn't cut it. The manager not only insisted on us taking home a quart of one of their signature soups but pulled the disappointing one off the menu immediately. Terrible experience. Not clean. Slow service. The tables were not clean and the restroom did not have soap. Pass this place up and pick anything else. The soup was not well made and was very chunky - a tomato basil soup should be puréed and this soup was not even hot. The sandwich fell apart and was cold for a hot sandwich. read more

The That's What She Said sandwich at Lindsay's was the best turkey sandwich I have every eaten. From the moment the first bite hit my lips, I could taste every delicious ingredient - notably the chipotle honey mustard, and perfectly thin sliced apples and red onions. Was stopping thru Pearl Mall area and looking for a decent deli for lunch. Ladies at a shop down the way pointed me to Lindsay's . Met Lindsay , she samplEs all her soups for me and had a great lunch. I couldn't decide between tomato vs sweet potato curry (or something like that) so I asked her to make a half and half bowl for me and she did. It was fantastic. I love Lindsey's the food is awesome. This past time I went was awful. They accused me of stealing after I payed for my soda and started drinking it. They charged me twice for a smoothie and after the second time I ordered it I watched the people stand around, do inventory and make themselves drinks. I then asked them if they were going to make my smoothie and then they looked at me like they had never seen me before and asked me what I ordered. They also charged twice for a large smoothie and gave me a small one. Absolutely ridiculous will not be returning until they get their staff figured out read more
