We cannot recommend Lindgren Landscape & Irrigation, Inc. highly enough. We are extremely satisfied with the end result - creating the back and side yards of our dreams. From start to finish, Landscape Designer Bryon Weber, was our designated point of contact throughout the entire process. It is such a relief these days to work with just one person so that there is no confusion between us, the clients and the contractor. We just moved from Las Vegas, NV to Loveland, CO and are completely unfamiliar with the different climate and landscaping options - but we knew that we wanted an outdoor living space that we could enjoy now and in the years to come with our children. We did our research at first and scheduled interviews with different landscape "companies", some of which we found were just asperaitional one-man businesses that did little more than the most basic lawn maintenance. Lindgren Landscape and Irrigation, Inc. was by far the most professional - and with our goals and budget, we didn't want to take any chances by trying to cut corners. We wanted to do it right. Bryon listened to what we wanted in our outdoor living space, asked relevant questions and took lots of detailed notes. He came back with a design that really impressed us and was about 90% where we ended up after a few tweaks. The planning, scheduling and execution was exceptionally coordinated and there was hardly any downtime in the three-and-a-half weeks to complete the project. We're now left with a beautiful outdoor living space that is comfortable, day or night, that both we (Mom & Dad) and our kids all enjoy every day. Despite our project and budget being larger, in the end, after all of the miscellaneous costs for materials, etc. - we were less than one-tenth of one percent over budget. This was due to Bryon keeping us in the loop throughout the entire process, making excellent recommendations when needed to cut costs, etc., etc. Bryon was always available by either phone or email and was quick to return calls. For us, that made the entire undertaking much less stressful. We would not hesitate to use them again. read more

Mitch and his team (Kent, Pat, and the rest of the installation crew) exceeded our expectations from start to finish on our landscaping project. We had drawn up initial project plan ideas and communicated our design concept and budget expectations with Mitch who incorporated all of our ideas and more into the vision of the final design. We appreciated the detail in the quote we were given for each line item. Mitch was somehow able to bump our start date up a week despite our project happening in the midst of the pandemic, and the schedule was forecasted accurately, completing the work on schedule as planned. Mitch and the crew were communicative throughout the entire process and were responsive and quick to act on a few changes made during the two weeks they were installing our landscaping. They showed exceptional attention to detail - ensuring that boulder placement was just right, pavers were perfectly lined, etc. The crew put a lot of care into leaving the project site clean each day before they left. It was evident that they care about the quality of their work. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the final product - and we are. We are getting a lot of compliments on the unique design and love sitting on our deck admiring our landscaping. The landscape project planning process was a blast, we learned a lot from Mitch and his crew, and we would absolutely recommend Lindgren without hesitation to anyone looking for an enjoyable landscape design experience. read more

Expensive, fraudulent, and irresponsive company My wife hired them to repair our irrigation system. These guys sent two guys to repair broken sprinkler heads and charged $900 in labor - yes, for sprinkler heads!! When I saw the bill I asked why two guys were sent, and they said one was in the training. After asking why they were training someone on my dime, the offered to take that charge off - without telling how much exactly. Till date, they have not done that. We called many times and they do not answer or return calls. On top of this, a few sprinkler heads broke the next day which we had to repair. Also their idiot servicemen has set 90 min timer in places where it didn't need more than 15 causing puddles of. water all over the backyard. Do not give them any business. You will pay a lot without getting any results. read more

We were looking to rejuvenate our back yard, but had a limited budget. Jill White provided a design that not only fit our budget but also exceeded our expectations. Once we signed the contract she managed the project expertly. The crew showed up as scheduled and worked extremely hard during some of the hottest days of the summer. Jill was in constant communication with the crew and us and everyone from Lindgren worked hard to make sure we were satisfied. The project was completed on time and within budget and turned out great. We would not hesitate to contract Lindgren Landscaping and Jill White in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone needing landscaping work. read more

Through the process of landscaping our yard, I vetted more than 3 dozen companies for hardscapes, irrigation system, planting and sod installation. Of the nearly 40 companies I spoke with, Lindgren was one of the worst companies. Their correspondence and overall company presentation were laughable. Having an engineering and design background, I had the tools and know-how to put down some of the design ideas we envisioned for our yard myself. They would not even look at design ideas originated outside their people. They had no desire to even discuss any ideas we had for our yard, what they could do, or other ways our ideas may be implemented. They stated they wanted "complete control" over the design, material selection, and installation process. What type of design and build firm refuses to listen to the homeowners' ideas? When they heard I already had some ideas to discuss with their team, they were no longer interested. Maybe they have something to hide and don't want homeowners with creativity, ideas of their own, or an understanding of how not to be taken advantage of. Their communique was baffling but really showed their true colors of not giving a damn of what the homeowner may want in their own yard. At a minimum there are nearly 40 other landscaping companies in the area which are much more professional than these clowns. Unless you're a sheep and want whatever yard they give you, do not waste your time with this place. read more

I have had Lindgren design and implement my landscape at two residences now. Their work is nothing but first class. Here's what I like in particular: Design -- Very inventive designs. They took my initial ideas, and somehow came back with a plan and ideas that far surpassed my vision for what I thought the space could be. Georgia on their design/project mgmt team is who I've worked with most recently, and I think she is excellent, both creatively and technically. Going the extra mile -- These guys don't stop until the job is done right. Project managers communicate well, and in a couple instances, worked outside of the scope of the project to help make sure items that relate to landscaping (gas plumbing, concrete in my case) were also done right. Quality -- I've been impressed with the outcome of projects, and where there are minor issues (a plant didn't survive the first winter, etc.), Lindgren stood by their products and work, making adjustments and fixing what was required. Overall, great landscaping outcome, and a very professional group of people who offer a great experience along the way. They're not the "low cost" vendor in the area, but if I move again in Northern Colorado, I'll go straight to them again, because I know they will do the job right. read more

We cannot express how thrilled we are about the job that Lindgren Landscape did for our newly constructed large house. Our home site was very complex and challenging. Jamie McCarn met with us and completely got the vision that we had in mind. She immediately knew how to execute it and we went over the preliminary ideas, and the infrastructure that would be needed to make our "enchanted landscape" a reality. Her team was incredible - they showed up every day on time, were completely professional, conscientious, and true craftsmen. Lindgren Landscape did all of the irrigation, retaining wall, hardscape, landscape and lighting themselves. They were exceptionally professional and timely even facing some challenging issues. When we were ready to move in, the "enchanted landscape" was done and exactly what we wanted. We could not be happier. Jamie herself was on-site practically every day reviewing her team to make sure everything was being executed correctly, and we never lost the trust that we felt from the first five (5) minutes of meeting Jamie. We were referred to Lindgren by neighbors who utilized them to complete their landscape. We contacted their designer during the winter months in order to be placed on the schedule for the Spring. During our initial meeting with their designer we provided her a design that we had a landscape architect draw up for us. Of the 4 quotes we received, Lindgren was the only one to come back at us and say that the design was not sufficient enough and that they would need to run the design themselves (oh, and that would be an extra $750). While a little turned off by that we were very pleased with the work Lindgren has done in the past and decided we were going to bite the bullet on this one. As we left the initial meeting we were informed that they were currently booking clients for an April install (Meeting was held at the end of Nov.). Sounded pretty accurate since we knew they held landscape installations over the winter. A month later, after we received all our quotes, I contacted Lindgren to inform them that we would like to move forward with an installation. It is here where things got a little unsettling. It took their designer 7 days to return my email asking my to send her a check for the design fees but that she won't be able to start on the design for another month. This raised concern that that the installation may be pushed back as well so I reached back out to see if we were still on for an April install. This is when the time frame bombshell was dropped on me. The designer informed me that they were booked out through the end of April (because they have a "great client base") and that they were not able to get me on the schedule until the design was completed.....yup, that same design that was going to take 2 months to complete (1 month to complete but couldn't start it for another month). After a quick call to the designer she confirmed my fears, it was most likely going to be July before they could complete the landscape project (which was only a very very very small backyard). As I expressed my concerns about the fact that I felt that all I was doing was giving and getting nothing back (agreed to have the design redone for a fee, send a check with no firm timeline of when work was to be completed, etc...) I got a brief "sorry you feel that way" and so, fortunately for me, Lindgren made my decision for me not to have them do my landscape. I am not saying that you should not use Lindgren for your landscaping needs. Again, we were very pleased with the work they have done in the past. However, if you decide to go with Lindgren, identify time frames and expectations your FIRST meeting with them. We work hard for our money and we want to spend it on someone that appreciated that we are giving them our hard earned money. In a service industry, treating your customers like they are not important is a quick way to lose them. read more

We recently moved to Colorado into a newly constructed home and I happened to see an ad in a local magazine for Lindgren. The add appealed to me so I called them. This turned out to be serendipity because we were connected with landscape architect Georgia Perry. I was impressed with her professionalism during our first telephone conversation and continued to be impressed as we worked with her. We wanted a xeric and low maintenance landscape with no lawn. The design she submitted to us was unbelievably beautiful and we had to have it even though the cost was more than we expected (we had no previous experience with installing a completely new landscape). The result is absolutely stunning and we continue to receive compliments from neighbors and just about everyone who comes by our house. The street appeal of our house is completely transformed with the landscape. We enjoy it every single day. The installation team led by Dan was also very professional and courteous and clearly experts in what they do. Adam managed the subcontractors and he monitored all their work. We are particularly impressed with the workmanship of the concrete and masonry subcontractors. Most importantly every issue has been resolved promptly and courteously. We have confidence they will continue to stand by their service as we go through the first year. Overall the landscaping installation was a wonderful experience and we continue to count our lucky stars that we found the very talented Georgia and the Lindgren team. read more

Tim and his team came to our rescue. We needed to get a hardscape and landscape plan in place quickly and they drew up and implemented a great plan. Tim's team was very professional. They worked hard and transformed a new lot into a beautiful area. I think we picked the hottest period this year to have them laying out patios, putting in irrigation and planting trees and grass. Lindgren Landscape did a great job of designing and installing our patio area. We continually receive compliments about it. Their work included installation of low water using plants, a drip system, pavers, lighting, and even a driveway. When it was initially completed everything looked perfect. However, two serious problems arose later and Lindgren would not stand behind either. The driveway began to peel and pit excessively just a year after installation. It's continued to deteriorate annually and Lindgren has done nothing to address it. When the landscape material was being installed, a landscape spike was driven through the pvc sewer line eventually causing a sewer backup and thousands of dollars of damage. Even after showing Lindgren a photo of the spike in the sewer line, they did nothing to stand behind their work. In spite of how nice it looks, I could not recommend a company that will not admit to their mistakes and more importantly resolve them. I'm adding to more comments in response to Lindgren's reply: While Lindgren may feel flaking concrete is a common problem in Colorado, our driveway is the only one off of our alley that is experiencing it. I have two concerns with the plumbing problem. I was disappointed in the lack of attention to detail in the original work, this should never have happened. And it would certainly have been nice to not pay the entire cost of the sewage cleanup myself. read more

We had just moved into a new house for which the landscaping had been neglected for many years. While we were planning on performing most of the work ourselves over the next couple years, we did want to immediately begin enjoying the outdoor backyard space - thus we contracted with Lindgren to have a small paver patio put in. During the planning stages we encountered some drainage issues with the side of the house facing a hillside - long story short, we had some water in the (unfinished) basement. As we had plans to finish the basement at some point, we decided to also have the drainage issue addressed at the same time as the paver patio was put in. We had estimates from 2 landscapers for the paver and drainage work, and we chose Lindgren. They were slightly more expensive, but we felt they probably had more experience with the drainage work and they also had a good selection of Belgard and Borgert paver products on display and had much experience installing these products - plus they just inspired more confidence that the project would be a success. We worked with Ed on the specifics of the patio placement and size, as well as options for the drainage remedy. We had some ideas of what we wanted the patio to look like, but we gave Ed and his team some artistic license to flesh out the details - the end result is an amazing patio that far exceeded our expectations. Ed had suggestions for how to handle the drainage issue and we took him up on his vision - we are also very pleased with how this aspect turned out. The bottom line is the folks at Lindgren are professional and they stand by their work - Ed even offered to meet with the fencing contractors we were also dealing with for a fence around the property, as the fence at one point crosses the paver path - Ed was motivated to ensure we were happy with the final product and that the fence/paver intersection went smoothly and was optimized as much as was possible. They also put up a temporary construction fence for the dogs while the paver installation was underway - we really felt they went above and beyond to make us happy with both the installation process and the final product. Ed further suggested some long term care ideas for the patio, and definitely made us feel Lindgren would be there to support the work into the future. We would highly recommend Lindgren for work of this nature and are quite pleased with the finished product. read more
