His team was always on time and polite, and they left everything better than it had been even without us asking for it: i.e. trimming back ungainly trees/bushes when they could have just rocked/mulched under them, fixed a sunken section of our flagstone walkway when all we'd asked was for some edging to go along the side, made sure the plants we were adding to the rocked area had some mulch under them to absorb water. This was all included in the original quote - no extra was charged for these. I appreciated that they knew exactly what tweaks to make to get the job done right, and the result is a beautiful new outdoor space! We're so happy with the work CLC did and definitely recommend them to anyone. (Included: some before and after photos. I did fill out their survey on "how did we do" and let them know how dissatisfied I am and no one contacted me. I also let them know via email that the $150 fee to come back to repair issues from an appointment they were already there for seems like a scam. Their only response was it is their "policy." Our city council sent out notice that we had to reduce water usage. I tried to change mine on the controller and jacked it all up. I called the people who laid the sod and got a message to call back on Monday. Called the landscaper and got the same message (plus it was a holiday weekend). To add to the craziness we were leaving town the next day. Googled sprinkler repair and got a dozen names. All giving me the same message to call back on Monday. Half way through the list I get Matt. He answers and tells me he can't come out but will talk me through it. On the first phase I screw up and get it wrong. He is patient and talks me through it again. We get disconnected halfway through, but I think I got it. Two hours later Matt calls me back. He's out camping and was in a dead spot but is good to go. I tell him what I did , and he still has to make corrections for me. The next day I check and the sprinkler is operating as expected. Can't say enough about Matt he is a man of character and will be my sprinkler guy for life.
