It has died because they did not remove the old topsoil when the old grass was removed, they just sprinkled a thin layer of home store topsoil on top of the hard, packed clay that was there. They did replace some of the sod but that was dead within 10 days in spite of our sticking to a proper watering schedule. You can peel it up like an area rug and the soil underneath it is rock hard. They charged me $1600 and will not make it right or stand behind their work.

My response to Padilla's response: I selected Padilla based on many positive reviews. When I experienced poor and unprofessional service from Padilla, I thought, did I miss something? So I went back and looked for reviews again. What I found in Padilla's Facebook reviews shocked me. They did all the work between the 2 of them, no shoddy team of people accidentally stomping on flower beds. They arrived when they said they would and finished when they said they would. It took only 3 days to finish the work. What sets them apart is their knowledge and professionalism. When a dimension issue was going to increase the overall price, they stopped work, gave us time to make a decision, and then worked with us on the price. They stepped us through the install, explained the in-ground sprinkler parts and pieces, showed us the valves to turn to blow out the system and how to operate the user interface of the sprinkler box. They continued to check up on the progress of our yard to ensure adequate sprinkler coverage. They also offered advice on compost delivery, seeding, watering, and fertilizing our yard.
