There are a lot of sporting activities to offer, such as basketball in one room, hockey which includes ice and roller skating as well, and an indoor field that holds baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball, and even frisbee as well with even more names to list. There are many sporting activities to do here, and this is the place to come for get-togethers and/or just to hang out. Overall, a great place to visit. There was one time during a hockey game that a ref was sitting down eating during a game instead of out on the rink. I yelled over and asked him to ref the game he was paid to do and he proceeded to curse back at me with a lot of foul language. He still works there. Management is constantly contacted and nothing changes. This week a ref offered to get me a chair while I walked past him. He was only able to do that because he was standing in the penalty box on his cell phone while the puck was in play. I replied I want you to ref I don't want a chair. They are paid $25 for 40 mins of socializing, eating, and just skating away from a game in play. During the same game the other ref was hanging on the goal post the entire game talking with the goalie and not paying attention to the whole game. I have never seen a place that is a free for all for the employees and they have no manager around making sure they are doing what they are supposed to do. As long as they collect the money from all the teams the facility is still left in the dirty run down condition that it has been in for years. Hundreds of dollars taken from each team and they cannot afford to fix the score board so you can read the numbers? Several bulbs are out and just left without repair.

If you are looking for daycare, the daycare teachers are amazing as they have raised my kids for 3 years. But if you are going to be doing virtual learning----don't waste your time. The director has no compassion or room for criticism. I got complaints from the PUBLIC SCHOOL of roselle which I shared with her in hopes of improvement since we have had a long relationship together of 3 years-----but she chose to blame my daughter who is 5 stating she had to figure out the schooling on her on and they are only there to make sure she sits at the computer. She refused to provide additional wifi in the school during virtual learning so all the kids cant even get their work done. She was heartless and rather than attempting to fix the problem kept blaming my 5 year old and literally called me and said----today is your last day. I don't want them in my school. unprofessional. lack of a heart. should not be running a business for kids. OHHHHHH---AND SHE HAS FIGHTS WITH HER TEACHERS YELLING AT THEM AND BELITTLING THEM IN FRONT OF DAY CARE CHILDREN. LETS NOT FORGET THAT.

This was our first experience with a place like this for my husband's coworker's daughter's 4th…read morebirthday party this past Saturday. It was allotted for two hours, and seemed to be enough space for 8-9 children to run around. As a safety professional myself, I appreciated that they actually played a safety video for everyone, children and parents included, to watch and take note. The staff were all fairly young, but would have to comment that there isn't much staff walking around and monitoring that children are playing safe and following the rules. Some children were too scared to come down on the inflatable slides, and parents (myself included) had to rescue their child to come down. There was no staff around the several times this took place, which was a little frustrating. The music is LOUD - parents had to almost yell to each other to have any kind of meaningful conversation. You had to talk very closely to get your point across. As another Yelper mentioned, a song would be playing one minute and then silence for another 3, and then a song would pop on. It was very disjointed. The songs were appropriate for the most part, so no complaints there. The music was LOUD, but that didn't bother me as much as the LED strobe lights flashing the whole time - in every room, even the party room for lunch. It's very overstimulating, and seems to be unnecessary since the whole experience is stimulating enough as it is. The play room #1 was much better than #2, where some toys meant for younger children, are clearly very dirty and/or very old and should be replaced. I also didn't understand why when you walk into the establishment, they have charge cards to play games, but when you go into the play rooms for the party, they want cash! What's the point of that? I just spent x-amount of money on a charge card that can only support the 4-5 "play until you win" crane games in the lobby? My son was bummed that I wasn't willing to give him cash to play these games since I had a charge card that was barely used. I will say that they food they offered was decent - the pizza was the right temperature, and they offered several rounds of seconds and thirds to adults and children. Apple juice, iced tea, and sprite were offered, and there was plenty for everyone. The party room was bright, clean, and spacious to have the kids play freeze dance and run around a bit until transitioning to end the party. I am motivated to go back when they have open play hours so we can use up his charge card, and to tire him out!

It has nice equipment-- a row machine, an elliptical machine, a stationary bike and several treadmills. The pool is well maintained at a good temperature. The staff is warm and welcoming.

One advice: train the receptionists better and make sure they have the same AND right information…read more When you're new to the YMCA and want to sign in for a membership, depending on who I was seeing, they had different versions about the costs and the methods of payment. Being nice and patient when you're receptionist should be a basic requirement. I strongly suggest they allow drop-in class for the group classes, in order you can try them, at least once. And add more fitness classes (like yoga, zumba, pilates, etc.) after workday. On another note, yoga teachers (Jenniera and JoAnn) are good!
