They learned to sew, make stop animation lego movies, voice recording. They learned how to bake bread, try new international flavors of food and be their own scheduler. They loved the warm, funny, kind staff. It felt like a summer home. The flexibility for us was fantastic! Day to day camp, not week to week. Flex schedule during the day, any time drop-off, any time pick-up. Lunch included! That was a big bonus for those of us who detest making packed lunches every day! They already can't wait for next year!

My son was so happy and he learned that he can fun with less structure, be safe with new people, and make new friends. Her current teacher Ms. Parekh has done a great job stepping up to take over her class recently. One aspect of the curriculum we really like is the group classrooms ranging from ages 2-5, which gives the young ones an older partner to look up to and teaches the older kids how to care for and guide their younger peers. There are additional academic programs during the day you can add on, as well as after school extracurricular activities like music and various sports. It's also good to see an emphasis on allowing the kids to be physically active as much as possible during regular school hours. The community of parents we've met has also been great and our daughter has made many friends. We plan to start our son this summer. Yes, sometimes she falls or catches an illness at school... but it's mostly normal, unavoidable stuff. If there is a concern we've found the administration to be responsive. It's not cheap by any means, but a safe place where your little ones can progress their education as early as possible is absolutely worth it.

Consider more for recreation than a way to learn. We've been riding with Seaton since 2024 and have unfortunately had a mostly unpleasant experience. The place itself is beautiful and convenient, and hence the 2 stars. The teachers are a mixed bag. Most are high schoolers who probably get credits for teaching. Some of them are good as teachers and with kids and others are average. Classes are quite disorganized. When we'd ride, we would arrive on time and wait around for the teacher to get the horse cutting classes by anywhere from 15 - 20mins. We also had situations where we were assigned large horses for very young kids in spite of requesting smaller horses / ponies in the notes. Lastly, their systems are quite poor. We bought each of our girls a rider card but there is no portal or communication around usage, billing, expiry etc. The previous management (Wendy) made up for the lack of organization at Seaton through passion and customer service. However, the new management seems more commercially minded and more inexperienced in terms of dealing with customers, miscommunication, accommodating loyal customers, etc.

I totally forgot how majestic and beautiful these animals are. Upon entering, we were greeted by Ania who turned out to be our instructor/guide for our trail ride. Upon checking in, we grabbed horseback riding helmets and Ania walked us through some basic instructions and what to expect on the trail ride. It was great to learn how to push the horse to move, stop, or speed up. My horse was Eleanor, a grey Mustang Mare. She was super friendly and easy to ride with. The trail ride includes scenic bridle paths in Loantaka Park and we even picked up the pace and trotted a couple of times which was amazing to experience. Definitely one of my favorite activities I've done in 2025. I can't recommend Seaton Hackney Stables enough!

They never believe the challenges and behaviors he showed there and for a kid who had a hard time with speech, I now know these behaviors were his distress call. Poor buddy. All of the staff are amazing, and the campers are angels, they make coming into work every day so much better. I missed one day of camp because of an event I had, I had the biggest FOMO and knew I never wanted to miss another day. DCS genuinely changes you, and the love of Jesus is so deeply rooted throughout this camp. The staff really do care about you and want you to grow in your faith and want to help you build a relationship with jesus no matter what age or program you're in Base, Trek, or Summit it leaves an impact. There is also always so much to do at camp that you are never bored. Color Wars is by far one of my favorite weeks because you get to talk to people you may not have talked to before and build such close relationships with them. and song time is so amazing the songs are so great and coming back this year made me realize that I want to return every single year. My life has been forever changed by DCS, and I hope every kid who comes here gets to experience the same joy, friendships, and love of Jesus that I have. i'm already looking forward to dcs 2027

In Giborim, you get to plan your own schedules. However, the staff had trouble appealing to the wide age ranges campers during unity events. As a fourth grader, I should not be forced to be forced to do head, shoulders, knees, and toes, as well as other childish games during Boker Tov aka their meet and greets! Bus rides to and from camp can be 45-60 minutes each way. Unit shelters are also very dirty, especially during or after rain storms. The food was also mediocre, and parents must comply with the camp's own "definition" of Kosher if they want to pack lunches. I was given a marshmallow fluff sandwich as an alternative lunch when my salad was soggy, which is far from healthy.

They have a smaller overall experience than a Jeff Lake or a Meadowbrook. Given that they don't quite have as much to offer, their price point is a touch high. However, they justify their price by having a smaller camper to counselor ratio. They are also better equipped to handle "special" or "difficult" campers, as they have the right people in place to ensure that all kids have fun and that all kids have a wonderful experience together. Furthermore, the staff takes time to give reports and updates on the experiences of each individual camper, and could not be better with parent communication. My son comes home with a smile and a great experience. He's happy and that makes me happy. They offer pick-up and drop-off right at your door. They even offer a small extended before and after camp program right at the JCC in West Orange.

I believe they stayed open the entire time. We were so blown away with how well the school was sanitized daily. It felt like the right place to enroll my son as an infant. Comparing our experience with two daycares my daughter attended.. at Goddard my children are rarely sick or sent home. Like both my kids missed no more than 3 days in 3 years. Goddard really values keeping kids healthy and safe. I enrolled my son around 10 months old and it was a great transition. The teachers in the infant room were so pleasant and truly are like family. They were very accommodating with special requests about milk and nap time. Speaking of communication, I give the admin staff 5 stars with how well they run the front office. They have exceptional follow up and communication-daily reminders, photos, reports and weekly newsletters. I also appreciate the diversity of the staff and families. As a mom of color, I really love that. There have been many special events to bring the community together. My favorite events have been Halloween parade, the carnival, the "prom" for graduating class and Mother's Day/Father's Day appreciation. So much thought goes into all these celebrations and it's special. Once older, my kids were constantly entertained with art, yoga, music, water play, so many fun things. Always tired from a fun day. While the tuition may not be the cheapest -- you get what you pay for. It's well worth it for the safety, health and well being of our children. I highly recommend!
