There is an apparent disconnect between the doctors and patient expectations with the staff. I would suggest the doctors; but go to a different office. The experience I had with the Union office was the best ever. The experience I had with the Linden office was the worst. The office staff is not honest; nor do they care (except for the surgical coordinators - they are great). Once again - doctors yes - Linden office - not if you want to be frustrated, aggravated, or deceived.

I remember entering in the patient's room and seeing Dr. DeFronzo cleaning, rinsing pt's kidney basin she vomited in. I was so surprised to see a DOCTOR do that. That was one of the nicest act I've seen from a doctor. I had to make him my primary doctor even though his specialty is infectious disease. Fortunately *knock on wood* I don't need to see a doctor often. However annual check up is something that is recommended by our health insurance companies so I go see Dr.DeFronzo. He's VERY down to earth, not arrogant like many doctors have a reputation of. He motivates you to be a healthier person. He's SUPER knowledgeable holistically. I remind him every time I see him about the nice thing he did for my patient back in 2013. His response, "You have to be a good person. I am not going to let a patient sit in vomit, especially if I am right there and wait for her nurse to come and clean her up. Nurses are busy too." He's very humble and I respect him for that. He doesn't have a modern upscale office but his heart and bedside manners make up for it all! I wish him and his staff the best!

He was not condescending at all like a large majority of Drs have been to me over my medical concerns . He was truly compassionate. His wife runs the front desk and she is so kind and personable. I did not have to wait for my appointment. That was the first time i didn't have to wait for my appointment at a doctor. I felt comfortable there and i never do at doctor's offices . The staff was extremely friendly and caring and able to understand what my needs were. I am new to this practice, and they came highly recommended. I saw Dr. Andrzej Torbus, he is very through, kind, and genuinely interested in what my concerns were. I saw him two tImes, the first was to get familiar with the practice, and get recommendations and referrals to other specialist in my plan. The second visit was for medical clearance, I am having knee surgery. Both times Dr. Torbus walked in happy and smiling, and I never felt rushed. He put me at ease, and answered all of my questions. He was able to recommend routine yearly exams that I needed to have since I was a little behind. This practice is part of Atlantic Health System. Most of my information was already in their system. Dr. Torbus could see some of my previous records and dates. All I had to do was update my insurance information. The process was very easy. I love that they have an online system called "My Chart." You sign in and can access all of your medical records, tests, appointments,that are part of Atlantic Health,and even send an email directly to the doctor and his staff. Any other doctor associated with Atlantic Health System that I've seen will also be in "My Chart." This practice is located alittle down from the center of town in Warren. . There is also free parking in their lot. There are rows and rows of medical buildings up and down Mountain Ave. RT 22 and 78 are both accessible from this office. I definitely recommend this practice.

He said "I can't hear you". She just said, ok fine., she said she thought I would answer for him. How would I know if he's had any of the illnesses or symptoms your asking about. He's 87, just about as sharp as and deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. You weren't busy and no one else was in the office. Slow down, take a moment, you work in an office designed to care for people.

He also is not part of any of the large medical groups in the area (Westfield Family Practice, Summit Medical Group, etc.), which I can only describe as purely money-making organizations. I also liked the idea of visiting a Doctor of Osteopathy instead of an MD, thinking that he might recommend dietary/lifestyle changes in addition to pharmaceuticals. Instead, I had the pleasure of meeting a doctor who laughed at my request for a full blood test as part of a physical, telling me that I was young and skinny, and therefore must be healthy, and don't need to see him. Finally, I just found out that my lovely doctor, or his staff, seems to have lost my medical/prescription records. Despite being a young and healthy adult who doesn't visit the doctor other than for annual check ups (luckily), this is the last straw. Guess I have to look for a new doctor.
