Just as well, as you have 15 minutes for the visit, as the nursing staff schedules are packed with patient appointments. Private equity has taken over cardiology medical care and it shows in this practice: $$$ is what matters.

Was scheduled to get a stress test at the office and I got a call saying would be a fee of over 1,000 dollars. Weird because last doctor it was covered by insurance and nothing has changed for insurance. They said it was due to hospital affiliation?? Never heard of such a thing. Not a lot of confidence going there for chest pains and there was no follow up. Just told to take some baby aspirin.

There is an apparent disconnect between the doctors and patient expectations with the staff. I would suggest the doctors; but go to a different office. The experience I had with the Union office was the best ever. The experience I had with the Linden office was the worst. The office staff is not honest; nor do they care (except for the surgical coordinators - they are great). Once again - doctors yes - Linden office - not if you want to be frustrated, aggravated, or deceived.

My legs have gotten completely swollen and they scheduled me to have two procedures literally a day before the procedure they tell me that my insurance declined the procedure because it wasn't considered important my health insurance company tells me that the doctors office didn't write enough details about the procedure so because of the great staff at Dr. Walia I was denied so as I develop blood clots I would like to say that this is the worst cardiologist ever find someone else!!!
