Linden Lanes is a great alley for league bowlers but not so much for recreational bowlers. I had a recent visit because a friend of mine asked if I could sub for their bowling league. PROS -The real draw for this bowling alley are the bowling leagues. Compared to some other bowling alleys, they actually put a shot out that actually has a decent amount of oil out. You may get shellshocked with the equipment you need to get the balls hooking down the lane. This is more of a kudos to their manager. -The staff was nice enough and helpful. I tried to get a drink right about when it was closing time and they allowed me to do it which was a plus. -There is sufficient entertainment for the kids that is modern enough to keep them entertained in the arcade area CONS -It could be the time of year I've gone but there is some work to the decor that needs to be done. The ceiling clearly had some leaking issues that were getting worked out. -The pricing is fairly high for families. I have never been a fan of paying for a lane by the hour. You never get the value and you always end up feeling rushed. FINAL THOUGHTS Linden Lanes for league bowlers: 4/5 Linden Lanes for families/recreational bowlers:3/5 Yelp Rating: 3.5/5 (Rated down since the majority of people will be looking to bowl here for fun, not league) When we consider that bowling alleys are supposed to appeal to the masses, Linden Lanes is just OK. I believe there are other places that you can get more value for your buck.

With retro wood-paneled walls, 24 lanes, beer, and awesome prices, this bowling alley promises a fun time. They're open 7 days a week and offer a deal almost every day. On weekdays/weekends their deal is $40/$60 for 1 lane for 1.5 hours including unlimited people and shoe rentals. This really works out if you need to rent shoes. I usually spend up to 2 hours with my family which includes my senior-aged parents and young kids. Awesome staff puts up lane bumpers and a dinosaur-shaped ramp for my kids. Rawr! After we're done bowling, we shoot pterodactyls in Jurassic Park (the video game) and play air hockey at their arcade. Let the good times roll! NOTES/TIPS: **Easy parking in their own lot **Sports bar, arcade games, full-service pro shop, snack bar, ATM machine, private party room with party packages available **Diaper changing station available within the wheelchair-accessible stall in the women's bathroom

the fact that the cheapest option for my group was $75 was insane. i had called prior in the day and they told us we could get an hour for $60, then when we got there they would only let us play if we did an hour and a half, whatever just needed to pay an extra fifteen dollars. then, we wanted bumpers. we went up to the front desk and asked for them, TO WHICH THEY SAID "i think you guys are too old for bumpers" AND REFUSED TO PUT THEM UP FOR US. there is no displayed age limit on having bumpers if there is actually one. our lane kept breaking during the first five minutes (pins not being picked up correctly and then the reloading pin system being off by one turn) past all those hurdles, the rest of the night was decently fun.

This place is great minus the decor. I came on a Saturday night to enjoy a #FFN -- family fun night and had a wonderful time. I believe it was about 10 of us and we bowled for 2 hours at a cost of about $100 (perhaps cheaper). On a Saturday night, you can guess that this place was packed, but there was still enough room to enjoy your own space, etc. My only complaint would be the watered down alcohol, and the decor. I get it, I'm only paying $4 for a drink, but if it's an alcoholic drink I expect to taste a little something. Also, this place is way too outdated and needs a serious remodel. Everything from the carpet to the design of the bar screams HELP ME. Other than that, this place is great for some family time.

Went here on a Saturday night. Prices were reasonable at $5 a game. Didn't try the food but looked like they had a lot of options and also a full bar. Great place to go for a date night or for fun with the whole family! Decor is dated but that adds to the fun! Lanes were good. I bowled great but my friend Chris didn't do too hot!

Me and my son came here for some quality time and it was absolutely cool. We played one game, paid by the game not the hour. It was $5 per person plus I'm assuming $3.75 for our shoe rentals. The total came to $17.xx We also ordered food that came to $17.xx we had buffalo wings, which was fried wingettes with a side of buffalo sauce, a grilled chicken quesadilla and a small French fry. Food wasn't too cheap but oh well. It was good and the entire place was clean and smelled good. They have the little thing that helps smaller children or disabled individuals who may need help with rolling the ball. That is what's in front of my son in the photo.

Some parts of this place may be dirty, but overall it is a fun place to bowl. They do give out special coupons at times, which is a plus.

The arcade area is awesome and there is a huge seating area for food. Staff seated us, but it took about 20 mins before anyone came to take our drink and food order. Our server did check on us more afterward. Food was okay, 3/5. We got the mountain nachos for $17.49, it tasted okay and looked slapped together. Happy hour have good deals. 10 wings for $10 and $5 drafts/margaritas every Sunday, Monday, Thursday! Not pictured was our 10 piece wings. The skin was soft, not crispy. We got half buffalo and half garlic Parmesan. Blue cheese was 59 cents and a side of fries was $4.49. We also got a bucket with 4 beers for $28.49 and you can choose from a list.

We visited this Dave & Buster's on a Saturday afternoon and arrived at about 12:30 PM to hang out with some friends. When we arrived, it was relatively empty, but it definitely got A LOT busier at around 2 PM - not dining wise, but in the gaming area. First, before we went to the gaming area, we dined in. We were seated at a large table (as there were plenty available) near the bar where all of the TVs were, and there were A LOT of TVs. Let's just say this would be an awesome place to catch a game during football season or during March Madness. The menu was as you would expect for a place like Dave's, mostly bar-type food with simple entrees. Service was a bit on the slow side, but our waitress was very friendly still. Our friends ordered various items, but our family ordered our own appetizer and entrees. I ordered the Fish and Chips, which was an entree that is part of the Eat and Play package. My wife ordered the Southwest Salmon Bowl and we got our kids the Kids Pizza. Also, we started everything off with the Pretzel Dogs. The Pretzel Dogs were a tadddd on the salty side and the dogs were slightly overcooked, but the sauce that it came with to dip in dampened the negatives a bit. As for my Fish and Chips - I actually loved it! I knew it wasn't going to be the greatest fish and chips ever, but it was crispy, crunchy and the fish was tender and tasty. My wife also loved her Southwest Salmon Bowl and I had a taste of the Salmon and it was definitely good. For some reason, our kids weren't a huge fan of the Kids Pizza, but I took a bite of it and it was decent. It WAS on the small side though and it was oddly cut into 3 pieces even though it was a square. Go figure. I would highly recommend getting your kids separate entrees though if you have more than one kid dining with you since the entrees seem a bit on the tiny side. OK, so enough with the food. The gaming? Let's just say they have a little bit of everything for everyone! There are nostalgic carnival type games that they have "electronicized" so to speak, there are shooting games, there are basketball hoops to shoot at, skeeball, shuffleboards, claw machines (including an actual human claw machine!) - you name it, they have it! Your kids WILL NOT BE BORED here. I will say that the redemption area is where it gets a bit tricky, especially if you have very young kids, so beware because they will want EVERYTHING. If you're looking to dine and play all in the same place, Dave & Buster's definitely has it covered. You're probably going to spend more in the gaming area than on food, which you probably don't want to really hear, but, at the same time, your kids are guaranteed to have a blast!
