Went there after the recommended place across the street was full and I was short on time. I had been trying to get my nails ready to go naked again from gel damage by doing dipping powder, which is supposed the be easier on the nails. I asked the girl to do no color and a natural nail after removing the dipping powder. I asked her not to buff my nails as they were pretty thin already. She nor anyone there spoke passable English so not only did she buff my nails, she buffed them twice as much as needed. When I asked her to cut my thumbnail a little more (to match the rest, duh) she gave a nasty look and said something sharp sounding in her language. I felt like I was in that Seinfeld episode where Elaine thought they were talking trash about her. My nails are so thin they hurt and now I must file them down everyday to keep them from crumbling. I understand not everyone speaks English, but at least cut the attitude and have someone there who can translate. Do not go there. read more

Honestly I've always been skeptical about this place. But I've come in a couple times to get a gel manicure, and I took a chance and got a pedicure along with the manicure today, and I'm pretty happy. No better or worse than my regular place here in town. read more

The nail technician cut me on three different fingers while trimming my cuticles. I asked her to please slow down and be more careful-she just laughed. I walked away without letting her finish due to the bleeding on 3 of my cuticles-they still expected me to pay the full price. The board of health needs to shut this place down. read more

Worst walk in mani pedi I have ever had. Cut my toe bloody, then didn't sanitize the bowl before sitting the next person down in the same chair. Fast, distracted and results were horrible. Will never go back. read more

This is not the correct address. They are located about 10 minutes away from this published address - we were late. I went with my two girls. We had a below average nail salon experience for the following reasons: One male hurt my daughter while cleaning under her nails and made her finger bleed while using the cuticle clippers. I had to insist on a clean towel at the manicure station and the other male technician was flippant and rude. This same technician told me how much the salon owner makes per year and asked me, "Do you have money problems? Children are so expensive." The french manicures are very thick at the tips - not my preference. I will not be back. read more

HORRIBLE!!!!! it took 3 hours for me to get my nails done.. a lady went in after me and got attended first. They had me moving from station to station all they had to do is remove a broken acrylic nail.. 30 minutes for the acetone to work. I have been going to Linda's on Cordova for about 3 years and this will be my last time they get my business. They are in such a rush to get customers in that they make you wait 45 minutes when they tell you 10 minutes. I went in for a simple gel polish change and asked for heart designs on my nails (took over an hour when it usually takes 30 minutes to do). The tech "Kim" did not know how to draw hearts and got so insulted when I told her it wasn't what I wanted that she threw the cotton swab down on the table super angry and had another tech come do them after I told her I didn't want a design anymore. After the tech was done, "Kim" came back to finish my nails, as I told her thank you- she muttered something and walked away. I am the customer and I can tell you, they do not treat their customers very nice. I will take my business else where from now on- you get what you pay for... BYE FELICIA!! read more

Dirty, dirty, DIRTY! Rude, rude, RUDE! I would occasionally go here because it was quick and cheap. For a while it was OK. The past year or so, this place has gone down hill. The floor is disgusting and full of nail clippings. The last time I went in they left me soaking for 40 minutes. The water turned cold and my feet looked like raisins. I got up to leave and they didn't even apologize or give me a towel. They suddenly had time to give me a 5 minute pedicure but I refused. I had to return to work. I had an hour and a half off from work which should have been ample time to get a pedicure. The girls here are incredibly rude and speak Vietnamese to each other and ignore you. The last time I actually got a service the meanest lady there put her headphone on and talked on the phone while abusing my feet. Don't go here. read more

I have been going to this nail salon for 3 years. It was my favorite place to get my mani and pedi,,,,,. But Not anymore!! The last experience I had with them was IT !!!! The nail tech was so slow that I had to ask the manager to please ask him to hurry a little as I was there 2 hours for a mini and a pedi.!!! He filed my nails down until it hurt and jerked my hand when I pulled away. As I was sitting there I noticed a trend that they do, one nail tech does the first part of the nails,,then another changes places with them to do the polish. As I was watching I saw that some women would leave a tip for both techs ,, which I am sure is the strategy behind the switching nail techs back and forth. One women walked out and when she sat for 25 min soaking her feet, a couple others were getting annoyed while waiting for services. Was there 8/19 & had a very bad experience..man who did my nails left me half thru the job to clean two pedicure stations & that was after I waited 15 minutes for the appt. HIs own nails were so dirty that I had to ask him to wash his hands which didn't change his condition. On top of all that, I got a very bad manicure...yikes. Not a good deal....the manicurist filed across the top of my nails like she was buffing them, but she was using the rough side of an emery board which left huge gouges. Now my nails keep snapping and peeling where the damage was. Also the girl was in such a hurry that when she pushed my cuticles it was actually pretty uncomfortable/painful. When she applied the polish it was completely full of bubbles....one of my 5 year old students could have done a better job. I will never go back. read more

I've been here quite a few times, as it's close by. They now ask you to pay before the service (so you won't smudge your nails) and when I refused, as I tip based on the service provided, the owner was super rude, as were the other folks who have asked me to do the same. Lately, the manicures have been so sloppy. The folks working on you look like they'd rather be doing anything else. I can't blame them, but not a pleasant experience for the person getting a mani or a pedi. (I had one woman, Susan, who was lovely and did a good job. Not sure if she still works there.) I have gone there twice and I don't like their customer service at all.Today I went there to do the full set nails. first, the lady told me that she will charge me $10 extra for gel which is fine with me! then I asked her for a particular shape that I wanted, she said I will charge you $5 extra!! However, I said that's fine I'll pay as long you do the shape I want!unfortunately, she ruined my nails. They weren't equal at all, plus the nail polish that she used was not clear. I got so pissed off and when I told her this is not equal, she started to speak her language with others and laughing!! I think this was disrespectful and I am not going to that place anymore. There are three Linda's nails locations in Santa Fe ( one on Cordova Rd. next to Trader Joes, one on Cerillos Rd., & a new location on Zafarano Dr.) I have visited all three locations and they are equally terrible. My last mani-pedi at the Zafarano location was a total mess. The sanitation procedures were minimal, technicians do not sterilize instruments between uses. The technician who did my nails had a cold or allergies and was constantly sniffing & wiping her nose with the back of her hand and then touching my hands/feet, eeew!! The work was hurried, careless & sloppy. My nails ended up looking ragged & uneven. The filing & polish application missed numerous edges. The atmosphere at all the locations could not be more impersonal -very few of the technicians speak English well, they rarely speak directly to the clients, but they have extended conversations with each other in their native language, seemingly joking about the clients. This does not create a welcoming or relaxing atmosphere. I did not enjoy any of my experience here, nor did I receive good work, so I will not return and do not recommend. You don't even get what you pay for. read more

The worst experience I ever could have imagined! I brought my 7 year old daughter and her friend here for a fun mani pedi play date and I felt sick as everything unfolded. The place was so dirty, nails everywhere, skin everywhere. I wouldn't allow them to put their feet in the sink because it looked like it had never been cleaned. And this was the kids section! The pedicure chairs had butterfly wings on them so the girls loved them and couldn't understand why I wasn't letting them touch anything. I am in the beauty business and know the risks of having such awful sanitary practices and didn't want the girls to leave with mersa! The man doing the nails was so rude that the girls felt uncomfortable. His tools that he was trying to use on them were filthy. And he wouldn't stop trying to use them on my daughter. I had to physically holds his arm back so he would stop because he would not listen to me asking politely 18 times to not use them and to just apply polish. He yelled at me that her cuticles were awful and he wanted to cut them. I said no, she had a cut on her toe and I knew for a fact it would be infected if he used those disgusting tools on her. read more
