If your child is having trouble learning to read....The Fluency Factory is the answer!!! We came to…read moreThe Fluency Factory when my son was close to 81/2 and knew only a few Kindergarten words. A discouraged child, worried Parents, frustrated teachers, failed IEP's...the list goes on, we were desperate for a solution. I contacted The Fluency Factory in anticipation of our annual summer visit to the East Coast and spoke to the owner, Richard at length. I was amazed by Richard's compassion and understanding of my son's situation. I made an appointment for the day after we landed in Boston and following his evaluation, signed him up for 5 sessions a week. For the first time ever, not only did my son begin to read, but he was having fun! He loved going to his lesson each day and often didn't want to leave. At the beginning of week two, I sat in the lobby and cried as I heard my son reading a short story for the first time. This morning he practiced with me at home and he read 122 words in 57 seconds! Again, this was a child that could not read or sound out words and now he is doing it beautifully and happily. The Fluency Factory is more expensive than a private tutor, but worth every penny. They have a proven system to teach reading where private tutors and even the public school's special education department do not. The Fluency Factory has changed my little boy's life....I am beyond grateful!!

The first time I talked to Tyler I was completely out of it. I had recently divorced and trying to figure out how to make everything work was almost unbearable because my son got accepted into NYU and I had to file the css and fafsa applications. The long and short of it is that they got me through it. I ended up going with a parent plus loan which worked out well. Just a good group of professionals. I bougt too many hours of counseling time and he refunded the difference, no questions asked. He's not out to take your money or pinch pennies out of you. Try these guys first!

My husband and I had never heard of this company before. We were a little skeptical at first…read morebecause they don't meet in person but only through video meetings. But their pricing is about a third less than what other companies charge so we thought it was worth talking to them. The owner was very patient and didn't push anything on us. We spoke on the phone with him three times for free before we decided to buy one of the application and writing combo packages for our daughter. It cost about $1,900 and her college planner was wonderful to work with. She was good with email and I spoke with her twice on the phone to figure out how to get in touch with the financial aid office at my daughter's top two schools. My husband sat in the background and listened to the writing tutor during the meetings he had with our daughter. He was impressed, which is hard to do because he was an English teacher for twelve years. We were really happy all in all. They handled everything and kept our daughter calm.

HSA tutoring is a fraudulent service…read more Dont be blindsided by how they market themselves on the website as being top tier Harvard students or the fact they only employ the best for tutoring. which is a lie they employ any homeless person and brand them as high achieving Harvard students. The reality is they employ individuals who don't care about tutoring. An even less about you as the client. All the agency is interested in taking money from clients. I failed my assignment after taking up a tutoring service with HSA. Yes you heard right failed. Yet they claim they are Harvard rising stars. I was assigned a tutor a month before my assignment was due which was very reasonable. however, the tutor they assigned me didnt respond to my emails for weeks and only contacted me couple of days before my assignment was due to fit me in at 8pm at night. What a complete joke of a service !!! Honestly HSA is a con, stay well away from this place, other wise you will be deceived. Take your kid to a reliable tutoring service !

She worked with three different tutors throughout the package, Christine, Daniela, and Iman. They were all great and very communicative in terms of scheduling, and so was the HSA coordinator team. Did an outstanding job of listening to all feedback and making any needed adjustments, and the one time an online session was required due to scheduling, everything went super smoothly. Iman especially is outstanding! Our daughter made great strides working with her, getting through tons of material, honing testing skills, and building the kind of confidence that can really make or break the big day. She's amazing at giving day and week of prep advice above and beyond pen and paper. Thanks for all your hard work, HSA Tutoring!
