My family's experience with Quantum Prep has been nothing short of amazing. Their instructors are…read moresecond to none and are able to teach every subject at every grade level from middle school through college. My child was unable to attend high school almost her entire junior and senior years. Quantum Prep did not just teach my child the course materials and test prep, they motivated my child actually go above and beyond what was required. My child's work ethic, organizational and critical thinking skills, and self-confidence significantly improved under Quantum Prep's guidance. These skills have now transferred to post-high school life and I couldn't be happier.

I can honestly say without him, i don't know how I would of finished taking both courses. The lecturers and the TAs didn't communicate the material nearly as clearly and in a shorter time span as he did. He is clear and patient, and wants you to truly learn the material, not just get through a test or assignment. It is clear that he knows his material. Moreover he's very flexible with tutoring time and will take as much time and sessions needed until you understand the material. Being an athlete, my free is greatly limited, but he still found time to make sessions flexible to my schedule to his greatest ability. With my experience with him, if there were more teachers as clear and knowledgable as him, then class would be more clear and interesting and easier to follow. But in real-life situations, tutors such as Solomon are there to bridge the gap and help you succeed. I know I'll be using Quantum Tutoring in the future, especially as I get ready for MCATs, not to mention exams and tests.

GMAT Genius - GMAT preparation is an important step towards an MBA!

I could not have been more grateful to have randomly stumbled upon GMAT Genius. After more than 2…read moremonths of self-study, I still performed poorly on my first GMAT test. I spent hours looking through various test prep companies and eventually decided to message GMAT Genius because I felt like I needed a lot more personalized attention. Vinay promptly replied and scheduled a consultation with me, which led me to book 10 hours with him for online tutoring. This was by far the best decision I could have made for my MBA application. Vinay was extremely patient with me in every lesson and ensured that I had all of the materials needed to continue preparing on my own each week. The online platform he used was straightforward and allowed both of us to write/highlight/save each slide as needed. I particularly appreciated the structure of every class. Each concept Vinay taught would be separated into categories so that I could better recognize the types of questions that would be asked and more quickly decide how to solve them. The reading chapters he suggested also built upon everything we were learning so that I never felt like I just memorizing materials. As a curriculum developer, this pedagogy was exactly what I had hoped for. Our tutoring focused mostly on Quant since I had not touched a math class in more than 8 years. In the end, I improved by 140 points! My only wish is that I could have heard about GMAT Genius sooner so that I could have improved further. My final GMAT test was actually taken after I had already submitted my applications. But I'm certain that because of the increased score from that last test (a credit to the additional 4 hours I later booked with Vinay!) I was able to secure an interview with McDonough one week before their decision notification. I will be matriculating at McDonough this fall. Thank you, Vinay for all of your help! I could not recommend him and GMAT Genius enough!

He was thorough in giving me directions on what to do next and nothing ever felt overwhelming. 10/10, I highly, HIGHLY recommend.

I wholeheartedly agree with Ken's review. Veritas was great and really made the difference for me…read moreand the GMAT. The instructors were phenomenal - especially David, who went above and beyond to provide solid lectures, good examples, and additional supplementary materials. In addition to great teachers, Veritas' online classes were really helpful - either for reviewing material you're fuzzy on or making up for a missed class. Plus, they give you access to so many practice GMAT tests (some of their own, plus others they license), so you'll really feel prepared by the time test day comes. The class format of Veritas really sets it apart from other programs. For me, having the hands-on classroom time plus TONS of homework/practice problems was the necessary nudge I needed to make sure I was devoting adequate time to studying. The books are well thought out and give you a lot of detail. I'd recommend supplementing it with the Official GMAT guide (in your final weeks of studying) to really help give you a sense of the official GMAT Qs.

Although the instructors were great, this class is NOT designed for people who work full-time. If…read moreI had studied as much as they recommended, I would not have had time for anything else. Before you go out and preach my review as gospel, let me make sure that everyone knows that about halfway through the Vertias Prep program I decided I didn't need a $100k MBA. I just want to learn how to start a business and maintain it and have a fairly good idea of what I'm doing. Therefore, my score actually went DOWN by 60 points after taking the class. I don't blame Veritas Prep, I was just disappointed that it wasn't good for someone who works full time. Also, if you suck at math...I advise getting a private tutor BEFORE starting this class. Lots and lots of Algebra.

Manhattan Prep is an amazing prep course for the GRE. I took an in person class with John Cho and…read morehave nothing but positive things to say about him and the course overall. John was extremely knowledgeable about the test, content, study strategies, tips/tricks etc. He was able to tailor the class to suit the needs of different students, and was always available for after class questions. In my first practice test I got a 161V and 156Q, so was fairly nervous about boosting my quant score to my target of 165. John not only helped me on my quant weak spots, but also was a positive voice throughout my studies and kept me optimistic. Studying for a big test can be pretty isolating - especially if you have no friends studying for something at the same time (..i.e. this was my experience) so it was incredibly helpful to have a class & instructor that kept me mentally motivated. The Manhattan materials (books, practice tests, online resources, 5lb book (!)) are also top notch and better than those I've seen from other prep courses. I ended up getting a 164V/166Q/5.5 & I'm not convinced I could have done it without this class. I maybe could have eventually, but you don't want to spend forever studying for a test when you (presumably) have apps to focus on. Take Manhattan with John! It's 110% worth it - will make your studying smarter, faster, and less stressful.

His sessions were well structured. We covered all content and strategy areas but he also offered helpful feedback on the ones I should prioritize based on his assessment of my strengths and weaknesses. I hit a wall in my studies about halfway through and struggled to maintain confidence that I could reach my test goals and, more specifically, improve my quant score. John was really supportive in a genuine way. He helped me reframe my thinking around my studies and adopt a new approach that worked better. I got V164/Q168 (this hugely exceeded my Q164 goal).
