The receptionist was very rude- she was short in her responses and was rushing me through the payment process. I haven't been to a European wax center for 10+ years so I asked if I could get the free wax, which she simply said "no". It seemed grimy and dirty in the front desk check in area with excess boxes around and dirty plexiglass at the desk. Then, my waxer did not even talk or spark conversation with me. (I know that an important part of a wax is the distraction...) I was the one asking the questions and keeping the conversation rolling. She didn't explain to me what she was going to do. It was hard to relax in her presence. In terms of the waxing- she would put on pretty large pieces/areas of wax. In my experience, I have had people use smaller strips so that it was more precise and not as painful. It also seemed like she lost her grip on the wax sometimes so she took smaller pieces of the larger piece of wax. I asked how much the inner thy add on would be and she said "$12", so I said that I would like to add it. (It was actually $20). At the end, I looked down and she missed some spots. I asked her to wax another strip where there was a HUGE line of hair (I have no idea how she missed it). There were some sparse hairs that she missed too and she told me to "tweeze them because it turns out I have very sensitive skin". I knew that I had sensitive skin.... I will not be returning due to their lack of professionalism and experience.

Jasmine is the person I see for my services and is efficient, meticulous, professional and a delight to be around. Another thing I appreciate about this place is they are very respectful of their clients time. I'm a busy working professional and don't have the schedule that would allow me to sit and wait in a waiting room for an extended period. The client as well as the business are held accountable and have a set schedule to keep. I know I will be able to make my next obligation with no concerns because of waiting. The prices here are also unbeatable. The packages have saved me a ton of money.

When I showed up, I waited 20 minutes past the appointment time and got someone else. I would have been OK with this but the pedicure was terrible. My nails weren't filed. One coat of nail polish was applied and it's bumpy in spots, doesn't go all the way to the bottom of the nail. She got some polish on the surrounding skin and didn't clean it up. It looks like I had a child paint my nails at home.

She took her time explaining, demonstrated a nice steady hand with her line work, and didn't let me leave until both eyes were completely symmetrical! Her aftercare instructions were clear and concise, and her prices are very reasonable. She made sure I was completely satisfied before sending me on my way! I asked her if she could fix it and she didn't speak English so she called over a man who knew a little bit. I explained to him I wanted the crooked line to be straight (like all the other nails). My tech and the man began speaking in a different language so I turned on my phone's translation app. They were talking about me in a different language saying "I'm not going to make it perfect, I'm going to make it worse". The man responded with "charge her $60, she hasn't been here before". I paid ($60, they said $50 when I called earlier), didn't tip (that extra $10 was the tip in my eyes), and never went back. I've pulled out pictures of the general idea I've had, and she's talked through with me what we can do and what to expect - and if she can't do an excellent job with it, she won't. Full stop. I've shown for a 2h appointment before with an idea that would take 2 at a rush and 3 to be perfect, and she actually had me reschedule (just did a quick cut) so she could give it the time and attention it would need. The colors look GREAT. I stay, if obviously not "natural," at least within the range of natural for the purposes of professionalism at my job, and she manages to bring out all the highs and lows and depths I never knew my relatively thin hair could achieve!!
