Worst company ever! Stay away! Danger! Tried patiently to work with this company multiple times. Called corporate customer care. They did nothing to help. Very unprofessional employees with no accountability. Wasted 12 days with them. read more

I've experienced the worst customer service from this company. Calls are never answered and messages are never returned. I am going to call my insurance and return the machine due to the lack of service. I was given a machine and hose, but no nasal pillow or head gear. read more

If I could leave less than zero "Stars" rating I would. I'm angry with my doctor's office for setting me up with this supplier. I have had to purchase out of pocket at a local CVS because this Lincare cannot seem to produce a package to ship to me. Customer service mgmt is useless also. Please don't allow anyone to direct you to this supplier, you will be stuck with a four year term and find yourself without medical supplies. read more

Stars for this Company ? I think not ..... didn't even want to give them 1 but had to - to post This company is the most rude and unprofessional that I have ever spoken to . For one, they don't return phone calls promptly .. if they return them at all. Called for repair on walker and was told they were out too many times to repair it . Was I ever told there was a limit ? NO! . Then proceeded to be told where I can purchase another one - same brand but not thru them . Guess they don't need customers -- What kind of company does this ? If I was as rude and bold as they were at my job, I would be fired ! read more

If I could give them negative stars I would. It took us over 6 weeks for them to get their act together and get my MIL's oxygen ordered. They would blame the manufacturer, then the Dr., then someone in their office "let the ball drop." They finally got her a concentrator and a portable O2 unit. In less than 3 months the portable unit display went out. I called on Sunday evening and left a message with the answering service. No call back on Monday. No call on Tuesday. I finally called them again on Tuesday to be told they will need to pick it up. And once it is picked up it will take 2 weeks to get a replacement unit. I asked if they have a unit she can used in the mean time. "No. We don't keep extra units. You will need to use a portable tank." OK. No problem. "Will you be able to bring a tank when they pick up the broken unit?" Again no. They don't have those. When I asked if she was suppose to just sit there next to here concentrator for the next two weeks, they said yes! I have NEVER dealt with worse customer service reps let alone the most insensitive, heartless, callous human beings! Shame on you Lincare! read more

do not use this company!!! i filled out no less than three forms to have my cpap supplies auto shipped. i received exactly one auto ship in thirteen months!! i literally had to call the office every month and still did not receive supplies sometimes. you have to wait on hold for ridiculous amounts of time and their office is tiny. customer service, i think not. save yourself a headache every month, go anywhere else but lincare. read more

I ripped my CPAP hose which I got from Lincare. I called the "supplies" number and was informed because I was eligible for insurance coverage and would need to pay out of pocket to replace the hose I needed to call my local office. Which I did. I left 2 messages with the answering service on Monday, it is now 3:40 Wednesday afternoon and I have still not received a return call to my "rush" phone message. I purchased the product from another company and it has already been delivered. I will be talking with my doctors office to see about giving my a script to where I got my service. If not, I will reluctantly continue with Lincare without much good to say. read more

Supplies were sent to me that I did not order. My insurance company was charger over $800 plus my co-pay. I called Lincare about this and sent the items back that I did not order. Seems like they take it upon themselves to send you supplies that you don't need. My concern is if they did this to me then they must have done this to others. I'm still waiting for the refund charge.Looks to be like class action is needed. Lincare doesn't care... read more

This company has taken over for Walgreen's to provide supplies for CPAP machines. I deal with them for my supplies and supplies for both my parents. They have made every mistake possible. They have over-billed, late billed, shipped the wrong parts, refused to ship certain parts, lost records, claimed to have no record of accounts for which they have already sent bills and/or supplies, and promised to correct errors and then not done so. And about 2/3 of their phone staff are are either rude or incompetent or both. If someone suggests Lincare as a provider for ANYTHING, ask, demand or beg for another vendor. read more

This is the worst run company I have ever done business with! The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. The representative for my CPAP supplies basically called me a liar because the orders I placed AND RECEIVED since I switched to Medicare a year and half ago she could not find in their system; so she said I hadn't placed any orders and my account is on inactive status. She refused to investigate the mix up or even consider the possibility that there was an error at their end. This means I now have to go through the expense and hassle of getting a new prescription to order CPAP supplies with them. The last time this happened, I actually had been inactive for too long, but I was never advised that there was any time constraints about order frequency then. It took me months to renew the prescription and get properly re-entered into their good graces. I've been hosed by their computer system in other ways as well, and they never accept responsibility for their screwups. Good riddance to Lincare. read more

Review for Lincare company in general (not just Willowbrook): positively the worst. Billing is constantly screwed up, company will not return calls, they ship supplies that weren't ordered, etc. read more

I have been rarely been treated so poorly by a company as I have from Lincare. From the very 1st time that I dealt with the local office in Mokena, Il (They have moved to Willowbrook, Il) to my last conversation just today. I'm a CPAP user for many years. When Lincare 1st became the preferred supplier in my area for Medicare about 3 years ago, I went to their Mokena office and was 1st told that I needed a current sleep study, and would need a new order from my doctor. They also told me that they could repair (if needed) any machine not purchased from them. My old supplier had to call them to tell them that they were wrong about my needing a current sleep study and would only need a new order if I were to need a new machine. I stopped using the cpap about 6 months ago because the mask was making the bridge of my nose sore. I told this to my doctor who said they would contact Lincare and they would come to my house with several masks for me to try. The doctors office faxed them an order and called them 2 or 3 times before they called me. This took about 3 weeks. They asked me on the phone what I wanted and I said that I don't really know. I would like to find a mask they I can wear without pain. They then said that i would need a new order from the doctor. Now they call me and say they received the order but need to know what I wanted. I responded by tell this rude woman, that when she goes to buy shoes, she tries them on doesn't she? She repeated that I had to tell them what I wanted. My former supplier would always send me home with a mask that I could try for a week or 2. If that didn't work, they give me another one to try, until I could find one that worked for me. Not so with Lincare. Poor service and Poor attitude. If your not on Medicare and HAVE to use this outfit...STAY AWAY!! read more

I have tried for 11months to correct a charge made to me for something I did not contract for - in fact - refused authorization. Didn't make any difference to Lincare - they charged and collected from Medicare, and have been dunning me ever since to pay them $64.00. I have requested [monthly] a copy of this authority - no luck. I have sent emails, made phone calls and visited the Chico office twice. They only respond with a threatening letter to "PAY UP". They do NOT fill supply orders. not filling orders started in 2017. I don't know what to do. There should be something we could do to shake this group up. read more

It it's hard for me to imagine how these people stay in business. Their customer service is abysmal. I have encountered very rude people on the phone. They are very unprofessional and unhelpful. If you encounter any problems with their machines, you may as well talk to the wall. read more

I used Lincare prior to my lung tx in 2011-2013 and have no complaints. Delivery person Max was amazing, polite, on time, yada yada. Dealing with the office was usually good - one or two minor glitches and billing was usually good - one or two easily corrected issues. At that time I believe my "home office" was quite far away - Hodgkins - which never made sense to me, but I really cannot complain about the service received and was sorry to see so many negative reviews; too bad. read more

Absolutely the worst CPAP company to try and work with!!! Don't waste your time with them, find another - ask your doctor for their recommendation. I am so unhappy with this company I have called so many times about my order. They seem to ship you whatever they feel like shipping you!!!! Very shady unprofessional company! read more

This is the most ridiculous operation I ever dealt with. It took over six week to switch my billing to Medicare. Paperwork was presented but it sat on someones desk for weeks. Finally I had to push it through. Absolutely non-responsive, Currently, I have been waiting 5 weeks to see their respiratory therapist to get a new mask which my doctor had prescribed. Evidently. they do not carry my prescribed device. I will research Medicare approved vendors for my prescribed mask. Illinois has 41 vendors. I WILL MOVE ON! read more

I wish I had read the reviews before doing business with this company. I have been calling on a weekly basis for two months and still cannot get my order. The problem appears to be with their totally incompetent billing department that has not updated my insurance information. Today, I am still on hold with them after 30 minutes. read more

I would give zero if it let me. If you require a CPAP machine let me warn you not to do business with LINCARE (a Linde company). They're thieves. During your "fitting" meeting with them they'll convince you to use the most expensive equipment no matter what your sleep doctor recommended (because they work on commission). They say it's no additional cost since insurance pays for it. What they don't tell you is that they'll require you to pay the entire difference of what the insurance doesn't cover each month, which is typically hundreds of dollars. They'll also confuse you with some story about "secondary" insurance that will really only cover about 1 dollar per bill. If you think you'll be saved by hitting your BC/BS deductible you're wrong. Even though they have an "In Network" agreement with the insurance company, to be bound by the insurance billing limits, they'll still charge you. I met my out-of-pocket medical insurance max early in 2016. Lincare continued to bill me even though the insurance company clearly indicated to them that they have no claim and have to write off the difference (I called BC/BS so I know they did). When I called Lincare about the continued billing, they said don't worry about the bill, then they just added it to the next month's amount and billed me again. I tried to call their billing line twice. The 1st time I tried to call, someone picked up then hung up. After 18 minutes a woman finally picked up. I'm sure it was the same woman I spoke to on my first call a month earlier. She first asked if we had signed a medical consent form for me to get information on my wife's account. I told her we had (which we did at the fitting location). She said there was no record of a consent form being signed and would send me one in the mail (a delaying tactic I'm sure). I asked to speak to a supervisor but was refused. She then had me verify my wife's date of birth and address and then was willing to speak with me about the issue. I explained that I was still getting billed for charges even though I had already met my deductible. I indicated I had called before. She looked at the account and agreed. She said "they're" still working on my account and that the invoices are sent from a different location. I indicated that I called 30 days earlier and asked if they've been working on my account for 30 days, to which she replied yes. She agreed that the existing balance would be removed and my next invoice would show 0$ and would remain zero through the end of the year (basically the same thing she said during my first call). We'll see. I plan on filing a complaint with Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Just beware; if you're having sleep apnea issues, stay away from LINCARE! read more

this place is bottom of the barrel when it comes to servicing your oxygen needs and customer service! i have been calling them for over 5 months to request a portable oxygen machine for my mother! these ppl have dropped the ball, ignored calls, and done absolutely nothing on my mothers behalf! at one time they told us to gove them my mothers debit card information and she could get the machine....ad if we were making a deal... we gave them checking information, still nothing. now here we are 5 months later, im still calling 5-6 months later, leaving msgs, no call back. i was told by my moms nurse that lincare allowed ghe paperwork to expire and now yhe process has to start all over again, do now im sure were looking at another 5-6 months of ppl not caring of doing their jobs! all i want is for my mom to have some sort of quality of life, she has not been out of the house in 6 months ... cant go to the store, visit family, out to the park or to have dinner with her friends. she can barely make it to her doctors appointments! today is 6/10/2019 and i left a message for the manager byron , i was told he is in a meeting (sigh) i lft a msg that i need a call back that this situation is an emergency.. not holding my breath for a call back! please choose someone else for your or or your loved ones oxygen needs, these ppl could care less! maybe i should try to get channel 2 news investigates involved! read more

I would give no stars if that was an option. Lincare's Clarksville TN office attempted to fulfill an order for a wheelchair for my then-92-yo mother. They brought 2-3 wheelchairs over 2-3 weeks, none of which worked well for her. I wanted a headrest & brake extenders (mom's hands are crippled by RA and she is unable to walk more than a few steps due to a badly healed broken hip, so she's in a wheelchair whenever not in bed. Lincare rep said he would check on whether a headrest & brake extensions were available....and then never returned or called. After two weeks I called the office & was told the rep had just gone away for 2 weeks & that he was new and didn't know they couldn't provide headrests or brake extenders. I told them I understood, but that he should have told me and not left me/mom hanging. I told them their wheelchair was unsuitable and we wanted to return it. They sent someone out to pick it up while I was at work. (Mom lives with me & a caregiver or my husband look after her while I'm away.) She got an invoice with one month's charge for the wheelchair-- I paid it since we'd had one or another of their wheelchairs for 3 weeks while trying to get a suitable one (& waiting for the rep to recontact us). Then we got another invoice, and another-- and I called and Lincare's Clarksville office had no record of the wheelchair being returned. The pickup guy hadn't left us a receipt. Clarksville office said they'd had to let several drivers go for not turning in paperwork. They sent someone to our house and my husband signed/photographed a pickup receipt which the guy then took with him. Mom continued getting bills for the two months prior. Keep in mind I/she had paid for the first month. I called Clarksville office back, and they said they had no control over the billing! I called the number on the invoice (more than once), wrote letters, called Medicare (& found out Medicare had never been billed for the w/c), searched online for the government agency overseeing medical equipment suppliers to file a report, because I'm sure there must be others also being erroneously/ fraudulently billed, and finally after months of bills and written threats to turn the unpaid account over to collections, I sent them a check -- which they never cashed, possibly because in the memo blank I'd written that it was for fraudulent billing. A year later mom is still getting billed by Lincare for the two months between the time the wheelchair was picked up and the time Lincare's Clarksville office wrote up a receipt saying the w/c had been picked up two months earlier. Avoid Lincare at all costs. Tell your doctor(s) to do so also. And anyone else you know who needs medical equipment. read more

I give this DME company Zero stars. Having been in healthcare for over 20 years, I am writing to tell about the unprofessional way and dangerous affects there lack of service has caused. 1. No one answers the phone after hours. I pressed the appropriate prompt 7 times as well as other people with me, and the message kept circling around; no one answered. As a result, I had to contact a doctor on call and received other health professional assistance. Really, this was an easy equipment issue could have been cleared up with a phone call from Lincare (Willowbrook). 2. We are still awaiting a call from them from last week on another matter. 3. This morning I called and asked for the regional manager, they said the middle manager would call me today. She didn't. I called again and was told she was on vacation and wouldn't return till next week; then I was patronized by being questioned if I had used their prompts correctly. They still would not provide me with the regional managers info, saying they didn't have it.......calling my doctors office now, to dismiss Lincare DME and replace them with a responsible DME company. read more

AVOID this company. Their reviews on business sites are all negative. No response from CPAP order from 6 mos ago, no response again when Dr. sent "ASAP" order 3 weeks ago. Thank goodness for Jackie! After begging Lincare corporate to transfer me from the Mokena office (see review) because of that staff's horrific non-professional, abusive behavior and attitude, I was transferred to the Willowbrook office. What a relief! Medicare's contract with C-Pap equipment providers was issued to Lincare. Jackie was so apologetic for the bad service I received and she and her staff went above and beyond to help me get back on track. Stephanie and Deb were great and I so much appreciate the help I received from the corporate office to get transferred to a group of customer-service professionals who are normal! I am not exaggerating my experience with the Mokena office; do not subject yourself to the unprofessional attitudes in that office and get transferred to any other office. I never have had any problem getting someone on the phone in the Willowbrook office to take my call either! read more

If I could give less than one star I would. The company received my order from my doctor for a CPAP and supplies. They initially responded after two weeks and tried to give me a new machine, which I did not need but I said ok. They were going vto check with my insurance and get back to me, never heard from them, and I still needed supplies. I called them back after a week, now sleep deprived because I couldn't use my machine, they said they needed me to complete paperwork and would put in the mail, they did and I received a week later. I promptly completed and returned via the ups they provided the next day. A week later no follow up from them, so I followed up. The call said they would send me my supplies via UPS. A week later no supplies. I called left message...no reply. I called again...no reply. I called my doctor to get there help, they said they would talk to the rep, finally a response. Response indicated they didn't have all the supplies, but would ship what they had. A week later nothing, I called my doctor again to complain about the company they referred me too, so they were aware of my treatment. Finally a response. They shipped my equipment, I asked if due to the inconvenience, and now going on over two months if they would overnight, they don't offer overnight or next day delivery. Exhausted I said fine, but I would like to speak to supervise about my experience, no call was ever received. I forget to mention that on one of the calls from local office, they gave me their toll free number, with no instructions on how to reach the person that called me. When calling the toll free number they were unable to help me, but gave me instructions on how to reach local office. I've had poor customer service before, but this was one of the worst experiences I've had. When I follow up with my Doctor, I will inform them directly of the company they do business with, and ask for referral to another company. I actually needed another item for my machine, and bought from Amazon. My insurance didn't pay, but what I don't save on money I saved on sanity. read more

Lincare has no automated on-line ordering system. Customers must rely on an inefficient phone ordering system that lacks email or other confirmation. The local office is good and attempt to be helpful,. But the billing is "for the birds" very hard to communicate with. Two weeks ago, I had to wait for up to 15 minutes for a live voice to come on. . The worst place I have ever had to deal with. The incompetence level here is astounding. Why ANYONE would choose to go through them is beyond me. I have been attempting to get supplies through them since February, and it was already 2 months behind at that point. It is now June. I have had to drop school, and I am in a PhD program, because I cannot function properly without my supplies. This has cased great turmoil unnecessarily in my life due to apathetic, incompetent people with a total disregard for what people who need these machines have to go through without them. I have been promised callbacks, updates, etc. and only ONCE received a callback. I have been promised another one today. I'll keep my fingers crossed. Worst experience with a company ever. Lincare lied to my insurance company and me about the cost of my supplies. Had they not lied, I would have bought the supplies outright, not via insurance, and spent less out of pocket. YIKES! How can one company be so inept? In the past 6 months, I've tried three different times to enroll in their services through Medicare. 0-3! I've been going to my doctor and his doctor father before him for over 20 years. I fully trust his staff. I've asked them to FAX my cpap prescription and sleep study, to LINCARE on three different occasions. They have told me that they did as requested. LINCARE was to call me as soon as they received the FAX. YEP, you guessed it, no follow up calls. Each time I call LINCARE, they have no record of me nor my files. Lincare is one of the few suppliers of the cpap equipment which I have used for 10+ years. I don't want to change now.
