I ordered their version with an Italian Sub - with mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion, and banana peppers - to go. Sub was made to order. They wrap up the sub on a paper plate with a small bag of chips and a dill pickle spear. The sub was really good - hit the spot. I am more of the crusty style sub rolls fan - but Piedmont used a soft sub roll - which actually worked out quite well. Great sub, I would eat here again. There are 3-4 tables to eat in. As I recall, I did not see any restrooms for customers to utilize - so if that is indeed the case - be aware of that. Service was good. Paid with a credit card. #PiedmontDeli

I decided to give it another go. The people were very polite and helpful as usual, the service is always nice. Always good people there. My son got a chicken sandwich which was tasty. I was told my wait would be 15 to 20 minutes. It was in reality about 40 minutes. I got a ribeye sandwich to go. When I got home literally like 90% of that sandwich was fat I actually had a hard time eating it. I was a little disappointed, but it happens. The fries were hot and crispy. The wines are excellent and there are several tasting options you can choose- I believe there was a red flight, a white flight, and a "signature" option that had both. You also have the option to build your own flight, which I always love. The 2024 rosé is a standout, we picked up several bottles to bring home. We could not believe how good the food was- it was worth a trip in its own right! It's on the pricier side but it is clear why, the plates wouldn't be out of place at a fine dining restaurant. We also had the kindest server, Chelsie, who made our experience so special and memorable! She stopped by to chat several times, gave us great recommendations, and she could not have been nicer to me and my friends. We were lucky enough to attend our dear friends' wedding here and it was a spectacular wedding venue. The space is just beautiful and the catering was incredible- some of the best wedding food we've had by far. We liked it so much we came back to visit the tasting room the next day :) This is a perfect stop on the way to Charlottesville from the DMV and a gorgeous place to spend an afternoon.
