Leaving patients without oxygen for several hours with a broken oxygen concentrator and empty tank is unacceptable and life-threatening. Rude staff saying they are waiting to reach a driver for hours is unacceptable. The cutent call with Palm Desert is 32 minutes and counting. If he dies its on you Debbie! read more

Entered early for my appointment and office was dark. Was asked to take a seat and they continued on as if I weren't in the room. After sitting for 10 minutes someone finally came out of an office and offered me a good morning, I know this is an appointment for medical care but the customer service / bedside manner of the establishment is extremely lacking . read more

This company is impossible to get ahold of number one, second, they sell a very limited array of masks. My Dr. prescribed a new mask with a fit pack (a fit pack includes all sizes of nose pads), but this Lincare refuses to order the fit pack version. Instead they expect you to come in to be fit. But when you get there, they only have 2 of the four sizes available to "fit" you with so you are stuck with half of the sizes available. Last time it was either Small Wide or Large. Not ok. They have one Respiratory Therapist who is nice, but way too busy. When she is on vacation you are SOL - and she books out weeks ahead. Online is the best bet if you live in the Coachella Valley. read more

They always work with us to receive the best information on the oxygen service and supplies available. I have been using Lincare since I first started using a CPAP, in 2004 and was living in Virginia when I received my new ResMed unit there, before moving to the Del Webb community in California. . Moving required Lincare to change my address, in order to receive supplies and assistance and Abigail of this office was helpful, professional and understanding in accomplishing this. read more

This company is a nightmare in so many ways. Considering they are supplying medical equipment, getting someone on the phone is a nightmare. It recently took me four calls over two days, a total of 58 minutes on hold, and then I had to call the corporate number for help. When presented with my problem they were not willing to be creative with me regarding a solution, suggesting I wait over a month for the piece I needed and use to sleep every night. This is not a one time problem--it happens EVERY time we need to call them for support. read more

The all time worst customer service experience of my lifetime. It is my opinion that Alexis was the most rude and condescending person I have ever dealt with. She thought she was being very cute when she sarcastically said "you are being rude again and I'm going to just tell your doctor you should go someplace else!" She was shocked when I said she was the one being rude and that I was going someplace else. I have excellent insurance and since it is a PPO I can go any place I'd like and I have already secured my durable medical equipment through their competitor. Debbie Jaskulski, Alexis's supervisor, whom I never spoke with, contacted my doctors office and defamed me. In researching for that litigation I found Lincare was cited by the Federal Government for fraud and Lincare agreed to pay more than 5 million of dollars. Lincare also had a second issue regarding ethics and was fined 10 million dollars and forced to enter a five year agreement with the Federal Government called a CIA consent agreement. oig.hhs.gov/publications... The article says in part: Lincare Pays the Feds $10 Million dollars in fines and Signs 5-Year CIA To Resolve Allegations of Kickbacks and Self-Referral Violations - "Washington, D.C. - Today Health and Human Services Inspector General Daniel R. (Lincare). The settlement resolves allegations that Lincare paid illegal kickbacks and violated the Physician Self-Referral (also known as Stark) Law. Under the settlement terms, Lincare, one of the nation's largest durable medical equipment suppliers, paid $10 million and entered into a 5-year company-wide CIA. Today's settlement is the largest ever for OIG under its civil monetary penalty authorities. OIG alleged that Lincare engaged in a nationwide scheme to pay physicians kickbacks to refer their patients to Lincare. Lincare gave referring physicians items such as sporting and entertainment tickets, gift certificates, rounds of golf, golf equipment, fishing trips, meals, advertising expenses, office equipment, and medical equipment. The illegal kickbacks also came disguised as payments pursuant to purported consulting agreements, such as Medical Director Agreements. Beware and please google Lincare for fraud and Ethics Violations before you trust them with your medical needs. I found many more articles and the settlements are not small. CPAP machines are in short supply these days. Rather than calling, I stopped by to see whether these folks could supply one. After some shuffling about of appointments and inventory (much appreciated) I had my machine, cheerfully set up in about 10 minutes. I inquired about the many bad reviews, mostly relating to not answering phone inquiries. Apparently "corporate" insists that calls automatically go to the national office after 3 rings, and the store staff have tried without success to change this. This "excuse" doesn't help the end-user, I realize, but the staff themselves were super-friendly and helpful. Maybe stop in rather than trying to call? Expect friendly and helpful service! read more

Incredibly slow, and not communicative. Apparently they have only one respiratory therapist and hundreds of CPAP orders backed up. After waiting for a month to get a machine, was told that a respiratory therapist would call me at some point to set up a fit appointment, but they could not tell me when that call would come as the therapist "sets her own schedule." read more

We had to use them to get my Mom's oxygen machine setup in home. It took HOURS to get on the phone with them to give them our information so they wouldn't charge us an arm and a leg and instead go through insurance. Now it's time for them to pick up and they set up a pickup date and didn't show. They don't reach out to you either, so you're left waiting all day. When you call to confirm with them, they say someone is coming but instead wait until end of day to say no one is available and convieniently say they didn't have your number to reach you even though you leave mutliple messages with your contact information. Additionally, they set up a new date and they want you to spend another day just waiting around for them to call bc they won't give you any timeline or range and you just wait & hope they actually get around to touching base with you. Overall, the worst customer service I've ever recieved and zero accountability b/c they'll just continue to charge you as you hold off returning their stuff. If you can go through ANYONE else, do so and save yourself the trouble dealing with these people. They absolutely don't care about their clientele or anyone's time or schedule. read more

Just got off the phone with Lincare worked directly with a lovely woman I believe her name is Alexis. My mom was in need of a CPap Machine and some oxygen tanks. She was so helpful in explaining everything to me and answered every question my mom and I had. She even recommended a cleaning machine for the CPAP.
