Sorry but worst company I've ever delt with in my life. My issues with the company covers pages and pages. The latest: Ordered new supplies. Very specifically stated I needed non-magnetic. 2/10/26 they sent magnetic headgear again. I called - they said the order did say non-magnetic. Will send an email for return label - FedEx. To send new headgear. I returned the headgear. Have the UPS receipt. 2/25/2026 - replacement never arrived! I called Lincare. Got a very nice lady. She said the order says non-magnetic but they apparently put magnetic in the box. Also, she said my record DOES NOT say "non-magmetic", contrary to what I was told last several times I called. So Lincare, instead of sending me the non-magnetic replacement, just gave me a credit for the returned magnetic headgear! She updated my account. Put in notes with exclamation marks !!! saying NON-MAGNETIC. Said she is shipping the non-magnetic headgear - order processed 3-5 days then 5-10 days shipping. I wish I could give this place zero stars. I get a AI call telling me I have an outstanding bill. Don't understand how I can have an outstanding bill when I never received a bill to begin with. So I paid the bill with my credit card. A week later I get another AI call telling me I have an outstanding bill. I tried to talk to customer service. After being on hold for over an hour I get to talk to a real person who tells me she doesn't have full access to my account. After putting me on hold again they hung up on me. This place was a nightmare from the beginning. They automatically send my supplies to me even though I never wanted that . I want them to call me before sending out my supplies. They call me at least 1-2 times per week to try and get me to order supplies, even though I just ordered 6 month were less than a month ago. They send me a bill with no detail or charges, then tell me I have to request a detailed bill????? Billing practices are ridiculous. One of their customer service reps told me that they switched billing companies and the new company flipped everyone over to paperless billing and the agent could not switch me back. Who does this and doesn't notify the customer ? I've received no notices, mail, email, text messages, or phone calls that bills were due, let alone overdue, then they sent my account to collections. I want to pay my bills, but have been unable to obtain copies of the invoices. Sorry but I won't pay a bill I don't have an invoice for. I have contacted the billing department on 4 different occasions so far, and requested copies of the invoices I never received, they said I would get them in 7-10 business days, but each time nothing has arrived. They certainly had no trouble providing my address, phone number, cell number and email to the collections company so they certainly know how to find me. About to call corporate this time since customer service has been useless, this is absolutely ridiculous. Sydney Dempsey is the absolute face and voice of your company from here on out. I was on the phone trying to reach someone, because my local office was unable to assist. I was on the phone for over 1:46 minutes, being transferred and disconnected every time, with nobody seeming to care. At one point I even spoke to WE CARE customer service rep (did not get her name but wish I had) to whom I explained my situation to and she transferred me back to my local office without telling me what she was doing-SHE SHOULD BE FIRED. Then I called back and received this angel named Sydney Dempsey. She took time and was willing to help me, never disconnected me or transferred me, checked in on me while on hold as she was taking care of my issue with another department. Nonetheless, my situation got handled all thanks to Sydney Dempsey. Whoever her manager is needs to promote her and give her all the money she asks for because the only one who cared after I was on the phone with multiple employees of Lincare for almost 2 hours and nobody gave two craps about helping me. THANK YOU SYDNEY DEMPSEY for being the only person at Lincare who knows what to do and how to treat a customer. WATCH OUT FOR FRAUD! I've been on night time oxygen for several months. When I was on day-time oxygen, Lincare was an adequate provider. There was some grumbling about how many tanks I used but I'm a young, active person and I'm going to use more portable tanks than those who are confined to their homes. But ever since I got off of daytime oxygen, getting anything done with Lincare has been like pulling teeth. In early October, my doctor ordered a remote oximetry test to determine if I still need night time oxygen. It took Lincare several weeks to get this test to me. In fact, I had to go pick it up myself. I took the test, and took it back to them. I called my doctor, no results. I called Lincare. Oh so-and-so is at lunch. Called the next day. Oh, they'll take care of this. And the next Oh, they sent the results over. My doctor's office says they did not, and they too have been calling Lincare. Turns out the test didn't take and Lincare screwed around instead of telling me I needed to re-take the test So round two, they actually delivered the test this time. And they picked it up. Almost competent. But test results.... Called doctor, nope, no results. Called Lincare. Oh so and so is at lunch. Oh they'll do it. Oh they'll get it faxed over today. Eventually I just asked to speak to a District Manager, and pointed out that if this entire operations falls to its knees whenever someone is at lunch, then I need to speak to someone with authority. Lo and behold, they HAND DELIVERED (??) the results that day, and I was discharged from at-home oxygen use. Then another 2 week long battle of getting them to pick up their equipment, which ended with me doing their job for them. I also called my insurance company to let them know no further charges from Lincare are valid. Thinking this is over, I checked my credit card statement as part of a regular review to make sure things are kosher. Lincare assessed three separate transactions onto my card, recorded them as "in-person" transactions, without my consent. FRAUD! I reported that immediately to Chase so I can dispute the charges. I also know that the latest claim from Lincare was paid in full by my insurance company, and that a co-pay is not required of me. I would stay away from Lincare. Whatever you need done, find some other avenue to do so. This company is incompetent and will lie to you just so they can continue to bill you or your insurance. read more

Today I have received 4 calls from them to me that my CPAP supplies are ready to order. I have told Customer Service that I would order them when I need them and to stop calling me - yet the calls continue. I have filed a complaint with their local BBB demanding they stop the harassment. If that doesn't work, I'll pursue other avenues. Worse, when I've ordered supplies in late Nov, early Dec, they aren't delivered - and billed - until January - so I have to pay out of pocket because my deductible is reset. They transfer you to the local office and it gets caught in the loop. Lincare has the worst customer service EVER. If you need CPAP machines, supplies, oxygen, anything medical stay away. I spent 4 months trying to get an amount to pay off our CPAP machine because we no longer had insurance. After calling about 20 times I travelled 35 minutes to their closest location. I was finally able to leave with a paid in full receipt on February 21st. Yesterday we got another notice! Stay away from this horrible company. Read all reviews. Everywhere I look there are nothing but 1- star reviews for this company. And based on my own interactions with them, those reviews are well deserved. I have been being given the runaround with this company for over a year about new supplies for my CPAP. I still have the same supplies that were issued with the machine, and now the nose pillow I was given isn't even getting a good seal, which makes it kind of pointless for me to use the machine. Every time I speak with someone I get a different answer, and they love to pass the buck back and forth as to whose fault it is that I have not gotten any new supplies yet. The first thing I heard was that they needed an authorization from my carrier for new supplies, then it was they needed an authorization from my doctor. Today they told me that they had the authorization from my doctor, and that no authorization was needed from my carrier and then suddenly, the rep couldn't see which supplies I was supposed to receive. I was put on hold to find out what had happened to the list of supplies, and then I was disconnected. When I called back, of course I connected with a different rep and was escalated to a supervisor named Scott who then went back to the excuse that they needed an authorization from my carrier, and that's why I haven't gotten my supplies. This company will literally exhaust you. I've already called and left a message with the attorney general's office in FL to see how to file a complaint. And I will keep going until I get them shut down. I can't stand this company and what it's doing to people. read more

One of the worst companies that I have ever dealt with. My problems started with them when I changed insurance. I contacted them and gave them my updated insurance information. I then received two phone calls asking me if I wanted my supplies. When I asked them what insurance I was under, it was the old one. Finally, when the insurance was updated, they sent me a full set of equipment for my CPAP machine even though I specifically stated that I only wanted filters. When I went to return the supplies, that started a horror story that hasn't been resolved in over two months. I was going to return the supplies to the local Lincare store, but they requested that I send them back via a UPS label that they would send me. It took more than two weeks to get the UPS label. I immediately sent it off. I started getting bills and phone calls asking me to pay my $255 bill. When I would explain the situation, they would say that I should just wait some time for processing of the return. Finally, my wife called and got them to admit that they received the equipment months ago. Now, I've received a credit for the equipment but they haven't gotten the processing completed with the Insurance Company so they would like me to pay the Insurance portion for the equipment that I sent back. That's not happening. I paid for the filters. And I'm done with this company forever. read more

Since enrolling in a Medicare advantage program my new medical equipment provider changed to Lincare. I first contacted them on 9/4/19. My doctors office sent them all the medical info they required so I could receive my CPAP supplies. Since that time, I have made no less than 14 phone calls to their representatives who tell me they can't explain the delay problems. I should have an appointment for a mask fitting, etc and then the supplies should come in the mail. THEY CAN NOT MAKE IT HAPPEN!! Some the Reps were deliberately rude and totally unhelpful. United Healthcare Medicare Advantage should remove this company as a supplier! The Port Charlotte and Venice Florida offices are responsible for these problems. read more

My husband has been waiting for Lincare to send his c-pap for FIVE MONTHS. Lincare askes his to submit and resubmit all his information repeatedly often telling him they never received it from his Dr or from him, or that they've lost it. Seems there's no quality control in customer service nor is there any communication and organization for the company as a whole. Now when he calls, he is put on hold for over half and hour only to have his calls dropped. Still no c-pap machine. Absolutely AWFUL! We never got the proper shipment of our daughter's feeding supplies. 1. They NEVER return calls and when you call, they just bounce you around passing the buck to other departments 2. Their CS is useless, clueless and rude 3. They have an executive care team that is completely rude and useless 4. Although they had the right address to deliver the equipment, they sent the supplies to the wrong address and never made it right, thereby leaving my daughter without essential medical supplies for 2 months 5. They do not care because they just bill your insurance anyway regardless if you have the supplies you need or not 6. They put the onus on the customer to resolve their mistakes (i.e. making you contact UPS to track down the package they incorrectly shipped) 7.
