This is the worst company to work with. They care only about over charging. They do not care about disabled. Look elsewhere

Here one can find Brian Maggio, who is a licensed Pedorthist. A pedorthist is a professional who has specialized training to modify footwear and employ supportive devices to address conditions which affect the feet and lower limbs. I am a Type2 diabetic. As a diabetic Medicare will provide one pair of shoes a year. After jumping through all the hoops that Medicare makes you jump through, The paperwork ends up with Brian, and that's when the magic begins. Brian measures your feet, makes suggestions on styles of shoes then makes impressions of your soles for inserts that will fit into the new shoes. Once all this is completed, one leaves the store with "happy feet." Brian is a laid back, down to earth person who is very easy to talk to about any problems you may have with your shoes. Brian is at this store only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, the other days he's in Tampa. I highly recommend and trust Brian Maggio. Back to Health Aid Company. They can handle all your durable equipment needs, such as, wheelchairs, both manual and electric, mobility scooters, lift chairs, hospital beds, commodes, crutches, canes, and walkers. Some of these items can be rented too.

So once I…read moregot the green light from my pulmonologist and all that nonsense, I called this office to make sure they received the scrip etc. Once they verified my info and saw my account, they helpfully submitted the paperwork to my health insurance. It bounced back twice through no fault of theirs: so after a couple more calls, here we are. I got so tired of dealing with their "hotline" that I tracked down this office. Tom, the phone fella, was more than helpful in tracking down all the boo boos and tracking my claim's progress. He also got me scheduled to come in and get myself re-set up, so to speak. Enter today, I showed up a lil bit early just in case of paperwork. So after just a few minutes, Jackie came out to get me. She took such great care showing me what I'm entitled to receive, when I should receive it and so on. Not only did she do so in a thorough manner, but went beyond too. Jackie showed me the proper way to set up, clean and maintain my equipment. She also offers a few simple insider tips to make sure nothing happens to it nor to me by using it. Jackie gladly looked at it to be sure it was properly set, etc. All I can say in summary is that Jackie was very thorough, empathic and professional. I was provided with all the reference material and ancillary supplies I'll need for awhile until my automatic refills come along. Let's just say that after my visit to this office, I can breathe a little easier!

So I stopped here at Lincare and talked with Tom who I have to say must be the most knowledgeable man in the company! He got onto the computer and changed my profile so that in the future they will send me a large facemask instead of a small, ran into the back room and exchanged my small facemask for a large one, and also exchange a couple of my medium nose pillows for larger nose pillows. Could not ask for a better customer service!
