So I stopped by Pinellas Medical Supply on a whim this afternoon and was greeted by a gentleman named Jared who was very friendly and helpful. He showed me a similarly priced walker he had in stock that was very sturdy and a much better quality. He also successfully upsold me on some additional items that would make the walker easier for my dad to use around the house. The store itself was clean and brightly lit and well organized. After jumping through all the hoops that Medicare makes you jump through, The paperwork ends up with Brian, and that's when the magic begins. Brian measures your feet, makes suggestions on styles of shoes then makes impressions of your soles for inserts that will fit into the new shoes. Once all this is completed, one leaves the store with "happy feet." Brian is a laid back, down to earth person who is very easy to talk to about any problems you may have with your shoes. I moved out of Dunedin about 20 years ago but was looking for a repair for my walker. I went to many places and meant to call Medicine Shoppe. I finally did and they were amazing. I called, I went in and in 15 minutes they repaired my walker for a minimal fee. But most importantly was the friendly attitude of everyone that worked there. Not only that they allowed me to bring my dog (extremely friendly, they did ask) in to sit with me. And had a treat for him. Glowing reviews.
