This is a much better Macy's than the one in Tyrone Square. This location has much better inventory and Sizes. Sir Hubbers was able to get the linen Shirt and Jacket he wanted in his sizes here. I love my wife. There are very few earthly things that my wife requests. Liver and onions, a nice Italian dinner, and ice cream to name a few. All these are easily manageable to me. Oh yes, one more thing that she requests, expensive perfume! You know not the kind you can get at target,Or Walmart, or the perfume Shoppe on Park Avenue in Pinellas Park. Nope, straight to the high end stores we go. So without being a commercial for the brand of perfume that she requires, let's say that Macy's is the store that we go to to drop our $200 on her Fragrance. So this is not a complaint, purely Just a heads up to all you guys that may not know where to go for that top-of-the-line perfume. If Macy's doesn't have it, I don't know who does. read more

I don't like shoe shopping. My feet are ugly, and I never know if I need 7 or 7.5, M or W. It's no fun. I came to Macys today to return four pair I purchased online. None were comfortable or fit well. Teta processed the return, quickly and efficiently me. Then I asked her to find a pair of shoes for me: black or neutral, comfortable, closed toe, and for a wedding. She was patient in helping me find two pairs. One was more comfortable than the other and perfect for my dress (shoes were black sparkly). They weren't on sale, but I have learned not to procrastinate or wait for sales when I find something good! Te also helped me find a sparkly black pair of sneakers. They were comfortable and looked cool, but I don't think they'll go with the dress. And they may look too young for me. So I got a picture, in case I change my mind, but I didn't buy them today. read more

Now that Macy's has changed their return policy to 30 days I will no longer shop there. When Dillard's changed their return policy to 30 days many years ago I stoped shopping at that store and from this point forward I will no longer shop at Macy's. A 30 day return policy is too restrictive and is not customer friendly. Nordstrom is my favorite department store and I will do the vast majority of my shopping at Nordstrom in the future. I really enjoy going to this location, the staff is extremely friendly with the children and helpful when I have questions. They are excited for Toys R Us I have asked! I get really good deals online since this is location is a little far, but going in is always great. This review is for the Michael Kors purse section upstairs. So I decided to reward my new raise at work with a treat. Since I've been dieting, I went with a treat in the handbag variety. I knew I wanted a Michael Kors. So I head to Macy's to scope them out. Upon my arrive I was greeted by the two best employees ever, Erica (the MK shop manager) and Marta (MK handbag specialist). These women made my shopping experience 1000x better. I told them what things I was looking for in a bag, and they helped me by picking out designs, and giving advice. They really knew their inventory and were so helpful in finding my perfect purse! I also ended up getting a wallet which they helped me narrow down based on my specifications. The best part is, they informed me of a sale starting the following week. They wrapped up my purchases and saved them for me so I could pick it up in a few days AND save 25%! I am a big online shopper. I usually buy everything on the Internet. BUT my amazing experience at MK at Macy's changed my mind. Poor customer service December 2017 I made an appointment with Barbara Rutledge Clinique manager at Macy's in Clearwater, Florida. At that time she scheduled me for my trial run for my wedding makeup as well as for the day of my wedding. When I go into my appointment trial in January she happened to schedule herself off never called me to reschedule...nothing! On top of it I received a text message today 2/16/18, almost a week before my wedding stating she has the weekend off but one of her staff would take care of me. Such a bad practice! After doing what research I could on the internet, we had begun to start flinging ourselves down on mattresses all over Pinellas County to find what felt just right. What happens when I can't find what I want and need it asap? I end up doing something like going to Macy's and paying full price for it. I was annoyed at the lack of service at Fredericks and went on a hunt for leopard print here instead. The store seemed to be tidy but it was difficult to find things that matched. Yes, all the bras are together, but the coordinating undies aren't conveniently nearby. There's never a damn thing in clearance, and I needed to work around some specific criteria. Well, found a couple bras. Spent way too long looking for matching bottoms; found them without the help of a single employee. Tried bras on, settled on a set, and that's when an employee decided to find things for me. Whomp whomp! A little too late. She was friendly at checkout though and gave me a 10% discount with whatever sale was going on. I didn't expect it, and that's probably why my 2 became a 3. I am impressed that even in the typically chaotic clearance section of the women's clothing department, this store is kept clean and tidy.  Most items l looked at were either on sale or were a decent price.  They have fashionable and high-quality selections and you can usually find some awesome deals depending on what promotions they're running at the time.   My main issue with this store is the lack of service.  As an example, I perused the store, mostly through women's clothing, purses, and shoes, for about two hours last night and was not once greeted or asked if I needed any help.  At one point, I was standing in the shoe department, holding multiple pairs that I wanted to try on while the salesman walked around adjusting the displays, ignoring me completely.  It is because of this that I left empty handed and took my business across the mall to Dillard's. I enjoy going into this store. Always clean and organized. They always seem to have things on sale all the time. Usually when I am in Macy's it is to pass through to the mall. My pass through always goes through the kitchen department. Today I was ineterested in finding a full set of knives and I noticed they were on sale with substantial amount off. I'm a big fan of Macy's and visited this store for the first time today. My husband and I found a Dyson on sale online and this particular location was noted to have it in stock. Upon arrival, we only found a few Dysons out on the floor, none of which were the model we were seeking. An associate, Karen, was extremely helpful, checking multiple times in the backroom and speaking with us about alternatives. She also helped us get the best price by matching the online offer and telling us about a coupon available with a nominal charitable donation. Kudos to Karen! Never again will I shop Macy's. Ordered my son shoes at the location for homecoming and they sent the wrong color. Called and they wouldn't talk to me because my husband's credit card was used. He calls, they tell him they can't do 1 or 2 day shipping, then the supervisor hangs up on him, he calls back, 30 min later lady tells him they can do 1 day, only to then tell us they can't, ask for supervisor and still waiting an hour later. On February 6th, 2021, my partner and I visited this Macy's location looking for white dress shirts at about 1045AM. We located the mens department, and after about five minutes we were approached by a woman named Caroline, mid to late 60s, APAC origin, black hair, 5' 2', 115 lbs, was wearing a orange dress, and asked if we needed assistance. My partner and.I have both recently lost a weight and we were unsure of our new sizes, and this was very crucial because we are getting married next Saturday and we had not found shirts yet. She was friendly and measured us both and suggested our sizes and fits. We had finally found what appeared to be the exact same white dress shirt, in two different fits, that we could both wear on our wedding day. We picked her size suggestions, she helped to get the shirts un-done and we tried them on. We both felt as if the shirts were just a tad bit too large still, and we both wanted a size down. Caroline was busy assisting other customers, and we proceeded to go get our new sizes. You were out of stock on my size, so we tried another brand, in the smaller sizes. Those shirts were now a bit too small, so my partner and I both agreed that we would just the get original size in the 1st shirt. My partner was out first and proceeded to only want to grab the new shirt, no try on necessary. I come out and I find Caroline and partner at the table and they appear to be chatting loudly. Caroline came over to my partner after he was out of the fitting room and saw him trying to locate the shirt. She said out of no where, "No No No No, we do not try on five shirts here!". My partner then tries to clarify what she means. She then says "You have tried on both fits, and you know how they are. You are not trying on another." My partner, with the most shocked eyes ever, then looks at me and then back to her and just says "OK." I place my stuff down right there and we began to leave the store. I saw her helping more than a few customers and she appeared friendly to all, including us at first. My partner and I also just lost a lot of weight and we were attempting to find the best possible fitting shirts for our wedding day. She made us feel body shamed, and discriminated against. We were in such shock walking out that we did not even feel any emotion but sadness. My partner and I wanted to find a manager when we were almost out of the store, but we were ashamed of the entire situation and just left knowing that Caroline's hate-filled motives are exposed to the pubic and those morals do not align with Macy's company values. read more

12/2/2017, 3:30-ish pm. I called the housewares/ small electronics dept. at the Clearwater, FL location, to order a vacuum cleaner. I was on hold for approx. 20 minutes total. In those 20 minutes I was disconnected 5 times ( the first time, after on hold for about 15 min.; then 3 times after the first ring, when calling back). It is my feeling that whomever was on the other end, disconnected intentionally. Really ?? I have a few choice words, but a lot of good that will do. 11/04/2010, I purchased a bed and box spring from Macy's. The warrantied mattress was changed 3 times, the first for preference, at my request, which was done fine. However, the last 2 changes (in 2011 and 2013) were horrible to arrange. I had numerous issues with the customer service I dealt with in Clearwater, FLA. Botched addresses, incorrectly entered phone numbers, not finding my place, not updating my account, managers not calling back when they said they would, are a few of the complaints I have. I also received 2 defective mattresses (memory works- no longer sold) that felt like I was sleeping on a hammock that injured my back. I finally had enough and returned the mattresses July, 2013. I just called to check on the status of a refund cheque to discover it was mailed to the incorrect address (that had been updated already), that was cancelled before options were shared, that now I will need to wait for it to be returned before they can re-issue and mail, a process that will take approximately another 2 weeks beyond the 2 weeks I have already waited after returning their merchandise. After explaining how I had nothing but issues with Macy's since approx. 2011 (we are now 2013), I was coolly informed there was nothing else they could do to expedite the situation. I am livid. While the staff at Macy's is generally friendly, I have had the absolute worst customer service due to departmental policy and lack of staff efficiency. I have wasted many, many hours trying to make various arrangements with them, most often to discover the hours spent were to no avail. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND shopping with Macy's. I actually would not even give it a one star rating but had to put something on to complete the post. read more
