Numerous times I've been on hold for service... Today Sept 18..is no exception and it is WEDNESDAY, not Mon or Tue.. My husband needs supplies in several days... I am type 1 diabetic and use a Dexcom G6 right now. I have a t-slim that is compatible with G6 and G7 . My order of G6 sensors was shipped April 7 through UPS. I got and up date that my order, said it will be at my house on April 10 and UPS said that on there web site. My last G6 sensor timed out on April 10. Here it is April 12, with no updates on my order, the last info posted was April 9 and nothing since. Called CCS Medical and they said that wasn't there problem that shipment has not arrived. I did call two weeks ago to see if they could ship it a little earlier , the answer was to do with insurance and some other crap they could come up with. They did not ship early. They are relentless when it comes to ordering and payment, but customer service lacks customer service and listening to your needs . They are by far the WORST medical company i dealt with. I only had 1 order shipped from them and it was one too many. After getting my order, I called them doing the normal business hours they had listed, only to get an automated response telling me to call during their business hours. I called back in a couple of days and was told it was approximately a 5 minute wait. I waited over 2 hours the represtative said I need to speak to the pharmacist, but they just closed. I was told she will send a message for the pharmacist to call me the next day and after a week I never got a call. They are dealing with patients medical needs and they are awful. I placed a call to 1-888-MEDICAL (CCS Medical). After confirming all of my information I was told, "Estimated wait time, 30 minutes". Really? I accepted the call back feature when it popped up on my phone screen. Six minutes later my phone rang and I accepted the call from CCS Medical. I was immediately placed on hold with lousy music to listen to for over 53 more minutes! A total of 59 minutes and 34 seconds to speak to a human! As a side, my call was necessary for me to get a $155.93 refund on an order that I should not have been charged. Humana paid the full amount for the order. Additionally, I was place on hold an additional 4 times and transferred to a second employee to process the refund. According to my phone log, I spent a total of 1 hour and 13 minutes for CCS Medical's error. Please tell me why I should not be refunded additional monies for my time? read more

As EVERYONE has said, this place is terrible. I'm attempting to be a new customer. I've been going back and forth with them for over a month now and they keep losing my info, asking me to fill out information I've already completed 3x times. They still havent figured out what my cost is with insurance, whats covered, etc. NOTHING. I've been going back and forth with them for over a month and they/I have made -0- progress on getting my supplies ordered. I've now had to pay for my supplies out of pocket because of this clueless company. Avoid this company like the plague and go literally anywhere else. Theyre likely to just lose your order and leave you in a desperate spot like they did me. Now I have to switch to another company and start all over again. CCS has never been the preferred 3rd party for me, however, they were at least manageable until last month. A few weeks ago, I received an email that an order was being mailed out. It even stated that I authorized it I had not reached out to them online or the phone for anything. Then there was a problem with the delivery. I had to sign for it, which has never been the case either. In all my years with them, nothing has ever needed to be signed. I wasn't home and received a notice from USPS. I set up a redelivery and stayed home the entire day for this. On the following business day, the tracking stated it was set for redelivery on the day that had already passed. I emailed CCS and didn't receive a response. I checked the tracking again 3 days later and it was being sent back to them. I emailed again asking them to take the charge off my insurance company. I received a response a few days later stating that I spoke with a representative and the issue was resolved. Again, I had not spoken to anyone by this point. I responded with that, and finally received another response that the warehouse had received the original package back. Last Monday, I tried calling and waited on hold for 1 hour and 17 minutes. I finally hung up. I have emailed them again, asking them to release the insurance claim, and no response. I am on hold again, today, it's currently been 1 hour and 25 minutes. This company has gone so far downhill. I will be finding a different company very soon. read more

If you are on Humana do not go this medical supply company they have issues with paperwork and doctors offices I think over 4 weeks to process pump supplies and still paperwork issues is insane. They have t contacted me in two months as my emails will show they finally did on December 3 to verify my order they still havebt sent a thing I had a diabetic seizure last night my ccm keeps those from happening. I tried to call them was on hold after I was hung up on the first call for three hours then they closed. This is the second occurrence. The customer representative guaranteed my supplies would ship on 11/21/25 and allow a few days. The supplies did not arrive so I called to ask about the status. The representative then indicated the supplies should have shipped but DID NOT!. She then indicated the supplies would ship 12/2/25. This is an issue when a patient relies on CCS to receive supplies and they decide not to ship. A Patient's health and welfare depends on a reliable service provided, which CCS IS NOT! Terrible experience the first call, I spent 40 minutes providing all my medical information. The next time they called I provided all the verification info, then halfway through the conversation, she put me on hold and hung up. My third call they requested all the verification info again. Then she said they had lost all my medical information that had been provided, which took 40 minutes and wanted to me repeat the process. I should've read the reviews before speaking with them. I am being nice with a 1 star because they derserve less! I called early in November to order my diabetic supplies for the holidays and was told they would place my order yet it was never placed I waited and waited and still no supplies finally after the 3rd call I was told I needed a new perscription why they never told me this upfront I will never know but I live 1/4 a mile from my doctor and could have easily walked over to have a new perscription faxed in minutes! I finally got my order after Christmas so I went over a month without supplies and After I turned them in to the BBB they charged me for the 1st time since I started using them. Because of CCS I left Humana and went to another insurance company so I would not have to use CCS anymore! Well, back to one star. It's been a year since I updated them to 5 stars, and since then, it's gone downhill. Now CCS I would say is worst then ever. An unexplained charge on my bill that they want me to pay in order to release my supplies. The bill has no details attached, just an amount. You can't get through to billing, and they NEVER NEVER NEVER call you back. You can only get through to the supply agent who will then tell you they have nothing to do with billing, and I could wait on hold for 45 minutes or have them call back. WHICH THEY NEVER DO! THE WORST MAIL ORDER PHARMACY I HAVE EVER USED. My diabetic supplies were shipped incorrectly and are currently lost in mail purgatory due 100% to their error. I tried calling multiple times to get them to re-ship the order correctly. They are refusing to re-ship until the original order is sent back to their warehouse. Who knows how long that may take. CCS Medical is a terrible company to deal with. I have had to deal with them for many years. I have an insulin pump and a CGM which have been a life save for me. Their Customer Service is terrible. The site to reorder supplies which they like ypu to use, is often faulty. They constantly want me to pay a copay, which is only an estimate, before they will send my supplies. I have 2 insurances, my primary pays a certain amount and my secondary covers what the primary does not. I do not have a choice regarding using another supply company as CCS is the only one available per my insurance company. When I do call them, or they call me, I am put on hold for upwards of 5 minutes or put on hold several times during a call. Many of the Customer Service personnel are difficult to understand over the phone or they are.not helpful and seems like they do not want to help if I have a problem. read more

Every worker has a different answer. They have caused me nothing but mental anguish and sitting here with two Wafers and now refusing to send my ostomy supplies. Everything that they ask for was met yet they still would find one more thing to not give me my ostomy supplies. When asked to speak with a supervisor three different times I was diverted or told you'd be contacted through an email. Never contacted by an email nor a phone number! Would give CCS Medical 0 stars if this system allowed it. Recently our insurance changed and I could not receive my sons pump supplies from Tandem directly. The c/s rep from Tandem advised me that I had to order my supplies from CCS Medical. What a nightmare this company is. Please avoid them at all cost. The first order back in December, 2024 began on the 2nd and we did not receive supplies until 12/28/2024. My son uses tru steele insert sets, we were out of stock by 12/7. Thank God I had a few boxes of autosoft xc still left. I called this company daily, sometimes 4x's a day. They could care less. Each time I called it was a different story. I had to get the insurance company involved. What a nightmare. This February, his doctor changed his quantity from 45 to 50 sets. CCS Medical verified that they received the updated script. Called into CCS Medical on 3/18 because the text reminder I was supposed to get never arrived, the rep would not allow me to place the reorder because it was too early. She said my sons reorder was scheduled for the week of 3/24 and I would get a notification by 3/21. Never arrived so I called on 3/24. A rep at CCS told me that his "re order card" fell off the system. Processed the order on 3/24, but they realized that they never sent the new script to the insurance company. I asked them to expedite the order because we were going to be out of supplies by 4/1. Called them on the 25th, 27th, 28th and today. They never sent the updated script from the doctor in February to get approval, they waited until the 28th. (they lied and told me they sent it as soon as I called on the 24th). They thought they were being nice by sending me an emergency order of 7 sets. As of today we are still in pre approval mode. Every time you call this company they give you a different story. Their favorite is they need 24 to 72 hours to process. When the 72 hours are up and no change, you call them again and they say they need another 24 to 72 hours to process. Please avoid this company at all cost. It has been a nerve racking trip with this group. I can not believe that this company exist and they are a supplier of peoples medical supplies. Every time you call it is between 50 to 1.5 hours on hold. Thankfully the insurance company provided me with a few new options to work with. read more

Assigned CCS medical from my Endo for CGM durable products. I'm on Medicare and fixed income so honesty and cost are very important to me. I could have waited to get these products but the salesman via phone said my deductible had been met and I would pay $74 the first 3 months and then $50 the next 3. The extra for the first 3 months is due to me having to purchase a reader as well. All seemed great until a month later when I received a bill for $333. I called billing support and he said the deductible hadn't in fact been met and I owed that amount. I told him what the salesman had stated and he could care less. He said that he would break down the remainder in 3 payments but I couldn't have any additional products shipped until I paid the balance in full. I told him that was deceptive sales practice and he said nothing. I paid the remaining balance via credit card and will take my business elsewhere. Read the reviews that give this company a 1 star rating out of 5. Unfortunately I learned the hard way. Doctors need to stop sending requests for patients to this place. Be warned!! read more

Started using this provider for my pump supplies and all i've experienced was failure after failure including shipping my supplies late and them using ground shipping from Florida to Alaska even after stating that they wouldn't do that again after the first was massively late and I forced them to ship again using air. My worries were written off the first time so it shows that their shipping and customer service are either not in touch with each other or shipping ignores any directives from their companies other departments. read more

Where to begin... the wait times for phone calls is extremely long. Today it took over an hour on hold-- first person I spoke to, after waiting 33 minutes to get to that person, said I needed to talk with a Patient Support person-- another 23 minute wait. This happens every single time I have had to reach out to CCS Medical. My problem is that the Extended wear infusion sets, which are good for "UP TO 7 DAYS" will last me only 5, and then the absorption at the infusion site is not effective. It took several months, and many hours of hold time, to be able to get CCS Medical to provide for me the PRESCRIBED number of infusion sets. And, sadly, I thought the correct amount was in the works, only to find out, no... I had to call CCS myself (and wait on hold for a long, long time again and again) to find out that they needed clinical notes from my doctor. WELL THEN WHY THE HECK DIDN'T THEY CALL THE DOCTOR TO GET THAT???????? No, it was left to me to have to call and be on hold for a lengthy time to find all this out, and then me call the doctor to make sure they sent clinical notes. Sadly, I do not believe CCS Medical has my best interests and my good health as their primary focus. Why do I have to fight for getting the supplies I REQUIRE in order to stay healthy? I have been Type 1 Diabetic for 57 years-- and I have NEVER had as much difficulty getting required supplies so that I may be healthy. In my last discussion with the Patient Support person, who by the way is quite well trained in apologizing, and sounding sympathetic to my situation, I suggested that she speak with supervisors about the possibility of a patient care coordinator... someone who would follow up on the problematic situations such as mine and the others I am reading on this website. And in my mind I am also wondering why on earth are they so reluctant to provide required supplies in the first place. What on earth would I do with an extra infusion set or two? Sell it on the streets??? That's laughable. I am not sure anyone from CCS Medical will read my review, and I wish I had an option to use a different company. Not only have their reps out rite lied to me about when my doc faxed them information but they already had my credit card number and medical records. I am not sure where they received this info. I did not give it to them. I did not sign or agree to give them this info. My doc did not give it to them. Humana did not give it to them...but they have it!!!!!!!!!! They have not charged my card but they have not shipped me anything. They have yet to complete my application. In fact they say they have closed my case yesterday because of the lack of paperwork my doctor faxed to them weeks ago, which they already acknowledged receiving. What a train wreck. Extraneous procedures to set up an account, argumentative and hostile customer service representatives, and if you wish to talk to management about how you've been treated, you need PERMISSION from the very same CS representative to even speak to management, and of course they always deny you access to management. There is ZERO accountability from the employees, and they are absolutely not responsive to their patients. You get it their way or you hit the highway. I'm absolutely disgusted and feeling let down by this joke of a company! PSA to all type one diabetic parents. Get your pump supplies through another vendor!! We got prior authorization for our CGM and pump supplies for an entire year. They sent out our first round of supplies (28 days worth) and then refused to send out our second round saying they needed updated prescriptions but they couldn't call the doctor so I desperately went in circles different reps Everytime 100% unhelpful. 2 months later still no supplies my daughter was almost back in DKA and severely depressed. Thank god I'm smart enough to be stocked up for manual injections.This is a child's life and is unacceptable! read more

CCS Medical has been holding up my son's order because it is 'being processed'. The doctor's office needed to send over updated prescriptions, which they did and which CCS Medical has confirmed that they have been received. Now, the only update customer service at CCS Medical will give is that the order is being processed followed up with a weak apology. We need to get infusion sets for the insulin pump to literally keep him alive. CCS Medical should not take a month to process an order for medical supplies that are literally life and death. read more

Thank you for all the reviews! I was contacted yesterday about getting a Freestyle Libre from CCS. They had been leaving voicemails and text messages and I had no idea who they were. I do not have diabetes but have a disease and one of the symptoms is severe hypoglycemia and I require a CGM. I was suspicious because since I don't have diabetes but it's part of my disease Medicare denied me and here she was saying I was approved and I had just gotten a letter from Medicare saying I was denied again. She started asking for tons of information. I told her she needed to email me EVERYTHING before I agreed to anything. She actually wanted me to give her my credit card information while I was sitting in my car! I'm no fool and to prove that you should question EVERYTHING always ask for it in writing. She said she would send out the info as soon as we hung up and low and behold 24 hours later not a peep. Never, I repeat, never, do business with CCS Medical! My husband has been trying to get his medical supplies since November! I'm talking supplies like infusion sets and reservoirs for his insulin pump! He has had to get emergency supplies from the hospital, from Medtronic's, a great company, his endocrinologist and even borrowed from others. Andy has been hospitalized three times with ketoacidosis, a life threatening condition for diabetics! CCS is aware of this. His doctor has submitted the requested information multiple times. Andy has made over 20+ phone calls, with wait times of up to two hours. He has been promised return calls, on numerous occasions, and has yet to ever be called back! It is enough!
