Went here on a Thursday night solo, and I basically had my pick of any table I wanted. The dining room is not that big, so I'd still recommend reservations just in case.
The dining room faces the open kitchen so you can watch the chefs at work.
They have real candles on every table which gives nice lighting and ambiance to the space.
I had the tuna crudo, a special pasta dish of the day, and the clam dish that comes with uni and corn. My favorite was the pasta dish! The tuna was good, tasted fresh, and had an interesting mix of flavors. The pasta dish had crab, and it was so tasty, and the pasta was so fresh!! The clam dish with uni and corn was also very tasty, but I was starting to get full by the time this dish came, so it was a little bit harder to enjoy. I wish I had been able to come with multiple people to try the whole menu!
The service here was so friendly and welcoming. I had a very nice server. Another lady checked in on me multiple times and swapped out my candle when it was on its last legs for a brand new one. And I believe the head chef presented my first dish to me and she was very nice and asked if I wanted English or Spanish. It seems like most people who helped me spoke English which is very helpful since my Spanish is limited (almost non-existent). The bathrooms are small rooms with a communal sink outside of them. The entryway and outside are also really well decorated and so cute!
Definitely recommend this spot to anyone in town or if you live nearby! Perfect for a girls night out or date night! read more
