My grandpa comes to the office for wax removal which is good The complaint is w the unsanitary state of the waiting area. There is no air in the upper part of this sun room office. And during a visit. A woman was coughing incessantly in the office and not wearing a mask. She blew her nose and then proceeded to use the locked door that a patient has to physically touch and pull to open. I don't know how doctor's offices get away with not having handicap opening doors but they must find a better way to accommodate their patients. Some who are elderly. The office itself is in a poorly maintained building.

Summary: Made me wait 2 hrs and then the doctor didn't see me…read more I had an appointment that was confirmed over the phone for the Woodside location, and I got to the office on time, but I was still forced to wait 2 hours... at the end of which they told me that the doctor WOULD NOT see me. I believe they did the same thing to several other patients, including a couple with a tiny baby. The administrative staff had no remorse, one of them tried to convince me that it was my fault because I made an appointment for "5:50 on Zocdoc" which was not true, in fact, I had an e-mail confirmation for my real appointment time, which was confirmed twice over the phone. Needless to say, after losing 2 hours of work and still not getting to see the doctor, I will never be back again. Do yourself a favor and find another ENT.

It turns out I was confused about my insurance, which covers the evaluation but not the hearing aids, so I'll have to go elsewhere for those. Dr. B and her team are the best! I brought my grandmother in for new hearing aids, after a very…read morenegative experience with another audiologist. We waited almost an hour after our appointment time, but it all made sense when we got to see the doctor. Dr. B patiently sat with my grandmother for around 2 and a half hours. She asked her a ton of questions about her hearing issues, current hearing aids, and general activity. She is also the only doctor that has ever spoken loudly and clearly enough for my grandmother to understand. She tested my grandmother's hearing in a soundproof booth, and explained in great detail what her issues are and what could be done about them. I should mention that my grandmother is also legally blind (which throws off a lot of medical professionals), but Dr. B taught her how to use her hearing aids by feel, which was amazing! My grandmother got new hearing aids, as well as a tester pair to use for a week while they were being built. We had some personal issues in the interim, so it took a while for us to pick up the new hearing aids, but Dr. B's office was super kind and flexible! We also got to try them for a few weeks at home before we had to pay for them, which we were able to do over the phone. Fair warning that the office is in the basement of an apartment building which is NOT handicap accessible. There is a ramp to get into the building, but there are two or three small steps to get to the office. The office itself is also small, but my grandmother's wheelchair just barely fit in. My grandmother's hearing is much better, and we are very happy with Forest Hills Audiology!
