I have been in need of a massage and came here per my friends recommendation. Pros; 1. No wait time. I walked in at 6:30pm yesterday and they had availability to massage me. 2. Price- the 60 minute massage was $60. Even with the tip I walked out under $100. 3. The massage. My massage was absolutely perfect. I had a male masseuse and prior to applying any additional pressure he would always warn me and say "I'm going to add more pressure." Or "is this good". 4. Card is accepted for service & tip Cons: 1. There are no doors. Each customer is separated by curtains. 2. Coverage- I would have preferred a sheet to lay under not a towel. 3. You have to pay prior to getting the massage. This is my favorite massage place. There is both a man and a woman available for massages. The young lady at the front is very kind and will tell them exactly what you want. I used to go to 555 where no one spoke English and the massages were painful. I can tell the girl upfront exactly what I am looking for and that is exactly what I get. The gentleman tends to do a deeper Massage. A lot of times I will go in and ask for the female to just give me a relaxing massage and it is perfect. I went in for an hour massage of the hands and arms. The gentleman that massaged me went overkill with tremendous pressure that I couldn't relax the entire time. He concentrated too much on one area for far too long to the point where it became unbearable and uncomfortable. I too, like another reviewer, told him to ease up and he mistook it as, "more pressure? Massage harder?" He then proceeds to gauge even harder. THE BAD; They could use a little more ventilation to rid some of the oil smell and English is not their language, so you must make it clear if they are applying too much pressure. If you do this, they will soften up the massage. THE GOOD; far outways the bad. Once you're clear with them on what you want, they are awesome... They make use of different techniques and are sure to work out any tightness or relieve the stress in your muscles. I requested a deep tissue massage--my normal request wherever I go--I have never had a massage therapist slap me or pummel me but that is what happened. Think of your back like a punching bag and that is how the guy hit me. I have at least fifteen bruises on my upper back, neck and shoulders. He slapped me with his open hand (not cupped) and he had long thumb nails which left little moon-shaped cuts ALL OVER. Try explaining all this to your boyfriend who knows you have a wanna-be dominatrix inside you ! I also said, "Too hard" and he said, "Hard?" and then he pushed his thumbs and thumbnails even deeper into my skin. I get massages quite often so I know what to expect. I chose the hot oil massage and it was awful. Instead of having a sheet or blanket to cover you they only had a towel. I asked repeatedly for a second towel and only got one when I turned over onto my back. The towel allowed me to cover either my breasts or my private parts and not both. I had to stop the massage until he gave me a second towel. Also his fingers were way too close to my private parts. I am not a prude but I was extremely uncomfortable. What a great experience! I walked in around 3pm and was immediately greeted and welcomed. I did the deep tissue massage for 60 min. They would like you to pay up front first and then tip afterwards. My deep tissue massage included some body oil. Let me tell you, the guy did such a wonderful job! He really got the knots and pain in my neck and shoulders. The girl in the front asked me what I wanted to focus on and I said I had a lot of strain on my neck and shoulders. The guy doesn't speak much English but he has the midas touch. Very great and knows where your points/knots are. I did the whole body massage, but I think next time I will only focus on the upper body. I felt so relaxed afterwards. Love this place. I believe it is a mother/father massage ownership and their daughter runs the front counter. They're pricing is as others. Usually always get the 1 hour deep tissue for $54. They will ask you if you would like upper/lower body or all. They will also ask if you have any particular sore spots along with if you are okay with oil or not. Just to hit on other reviews- They will ask you to remove clothing in the areas you would like massaged. This is not an express massage parlor. You are not required to remove any clothing you don't want to. You are not being sold. There is a man and woman doing the massages so you can specifically ask for the man if you would like a larger pressure type of massage or the woman if that's what you're more comfortable with. Awesome! This was my 2nd massage. My first time at Lin Dynasty. It's at the corner of Herndon and Tollhouse by Cravings Restaurant. The receptionist was very nice and pointed out the price list on the wall. She asked my preferences; female or Male masseuse, oil or not and explained that the oil would be cleaned off afterwards, length of massage time, explained deep tissue massage, areas of concern and any other questions I had. I paid with debit card. I had made an appointment earlier today and got there in time for my massage. She took me right in. Private room with curtain door. All natural lighting very calm and very quiet music. I could hear a small waterfall, very pleasant. The massage table had a sheet and thick towel over it. I disrobed and covered up with another towel. I was nervous being a novice to this but he was so calm and precise with his hands I was soon at ease. He did a wonderful job. I had asked for medium pressure and at times was at the edge of hard but the little pain I felt was totally worth it. I feel wonderfully relaxed after. And all too soon he was handing me an ice cold water bottle and leaving. I groggily (is that a word?) got my clothes on and checked my hair in the mirror.
