Do NOT hire Limon Landscape (A.K.A. Limon Landscaping & Gardening) for your landscaping projects. The owner, Ruben Limon is unreliable, untrustworthy and unprofessional. He is consistently late to appointments (up to 2 hours late!) and, though apologetic, he does nothing to change his behavior. After receiving payments totaling 5,500 from us, Ruben demanded an additional 3,500 to compete the job. He had agreed to provide a copy of the initial work order contract, but never follow through on his word. When asked for a copy of the initial contract, plus itemized bill for the additionl 3,500 he wanted to charge, Ruben did not respond to our messages. Bottomline, beware of this man! Ruben Limon might look trustworthy but, in his case, looks are deceiving! After the fiasco with Ruben, I inquired with the Department of Consumers, Contractors State License Board. Turns out, Ruben Limon's contactor license (Lic 764876) was revoked 05/20/14 due to a series of Bussiness & Professional Code Violations. Here's the list of Ruben Limon's Business & Professional Code violations per Citation # 2 2013 001646: Violation of Code 7107 (Abandonment without legal excuse of any construction project); Violation of Code 7116 (Wilful or fraudulent act); Violation of Code 7117. A (License name style variation); Violation of Cod 7117. 5B (Contracted with suspended license) and Violation of Code 7117. 5C (Contracted with expired license).
