The staff at DU had every detail planned perfectly. The restaurants along the way were exactly what we needed on our journey and were spaced out very efficiently. The hotels were accommodating to our large amount of equipment we were hauling and the suggestions for other activities along the way were spot on for a group of this size. The staff at Destinations Unlimited are professional, knowledgeable and just great people. Terrible customer service on her part. I've worked with public my whole career, and this is an example of lack of training, Terrible attitude, or just there for a pay check. She was professional, but kind of cool and not particularly friendly or conversational when I attempted to engage about the local area, the hotel, etc. The other reason for a one star deduct is that there is just about nothing else conveniently located to the hotel. Food, etc, you are basically on your own. No restaurants or anything. Each of those things merit a half star deduction in my mind, total of one down. I'd stay again. Likely it had just been a long day for the person checking us in. The room was very nice, clean, etc. Excellent access to the highway. 4/5 for sure, which is pretty good.
