We requested that the team put up the fence ahead of schedule so that our pup would have some time to enjoy the backyard all to herself. They made it happen and our dog passed a few short months later. We are forever grateful to RFB for making it happen. The fence is beautiful and well constructed. Fast forward 2.5 years later and we had one hinge start to come loose on our 10ft swinging gate. I reached out to Brady for an opinion on how to remedy the issue. Not only did he give me his thoughts, the crew was back out here within days and took care of the hinge with a super permanent solution. Best part, they did not charge another dime. I cannot speak highly enough of these guys. If you are planning to install a fence in the triangle area, look no further. These guys are the best!!

The level of detail and options presented during the estimation process was better than any other estimates we received. The finished fence exceeds expectations. The 6x6's used with the gates and quality of the gates really made the job shine. They left the yard in better shape than when they started. I would definitely work with them again.

Thursday (11/3): Spoke with Jennifer about purchasing materials only...she said to send over a list of what I needed. I sent the list and received a reply from James Frye stating that he'd price out the items and send me a quote. Monday (11/7): I sent an email reply to James thanking him and expressing that I was looking forward to doing business. I was honestly expecting the estimate Monday morning, and sent the email as a bump/reminder. Wednesday (11/9): Morning...Called and spoke with Jennifer on the phone. She advised that Mr. Frye was out of the office, but that he would be back shortly and would call me back at that time. Wednesday (11/9): Afternoon... Sent James a follow-up email explaining that I was ready to purchase the materials as soon as he got the quote over to me. ...no response Thursday (11/10): Called and spoke to Jennifer again, and she said that Mr. Frye was not at his desk, but he would call me back shortly. She also added that if he was unable to call back, she would call me back herself. ...no call-back from James or Jennifer. Friday (11/11): Morning...Called and spoke to Jennifer yet again. This time, Mr. Frye was on a conference call, and could not be bothered. She remembered that I had called several times before, and again said that if Mr. Frye could not get back to me, she would call me back herself. ...no call-back (big surprise) Friday (11/11): Afternoon...Called and spoke to Anne. She informed me that Mr. Frye was busy doing estimates and could not be bothered to take my call. After informing her that I needed the quote by day-end, she said that would not be possible as Mr. Frye was on his way to the beach (clearly lying about him doing estimates). At that point I asked her to inform Mr. Frye that he'd no longer need to bother himself with the quote, as I'd be seeking business elsewhere. Excuses and lies are all I got from this company. Disregarded calls and email follow-ups are a huge red flag.

(JMS) just completed a second project for us and they, once again, did a fantastic job. Our project list this time included: 1). Extending the natural stone pathway and steps they did in our backyard last summer. 2). Paver extensions to both sides of our driveway (so we don't step out of a vehicle into pine straw or grass). This required the removal of a large crepe myrtle and removal or moving of some bushes. Because we had a buried downspout pop up drain alongside the driveway JMS offered several options for how to deal with it and keep the water away from the house. We chose having the pop up moved out closer to the curb. 3). Removal of our old concrete sidewalks replacing and widening them with pavers. Additionally, along with the driveway extensions the pavers were also extended out to the curb so we don't have to walk in the grass to check the mailbox. 4). Installing some retaining walls and sandstone loose fit edging installed around all the planting areas. To complicate the work the JMS team had to work around pre-existing irrigation system valve wiring, piping, drip system tubing and sprinkler heads as well as low-voltage lighting fixtures and wiring. They did an outstanding job of rerouting, moving/replacing and/or repairing all the buried pipes, sprinkler heads and wiring and when they were finished everything was as good as new and looked great. Just as before, during the installation, Cort handled some small specific requests and we really appreciate his attention to detail and consistently superior customer service. He even took some photos for us of portions of the install he knew we were especially interested in. Mark Swicewood, Cort Tangeman, and the whole team from JMS were once again exceptional to work with - just as they did on our previous project they answered all our questions, offered expert advice and suggestions, and followed up on even the smallest detail. They coordinated with us about the progress of the work and cleaned up every day before they left. Both times we've worked with JMS we've received top-notch workmanship, excellent attention to even small details, and superb customer service. It is unbelievably hard to find reliable, customer-oriented contractor s who deliver what they promise - Just My Style Landscape Services is a company you can trust. We highly recommend them for any landscaping needs. In fact, we're already thinking about possible ideas for a third project next year.

We asked them what the charge was for them to do a design for a front sidewalk. Mark, the owner, said it was $500 for a design plan for the walkway only. I have this on an email, so this was some miscommunication. We set up an appt and mark came to meet us, look at the project. he did not tell us that there was a charge, also for the first initial appt. He mentioned a few vague ideas- you could put your sidewalk here.... it can curve. Ok, it was some ideas. he did not measure or do anything other than talk. He was constantly looking at his watch, as if to signal us, that he was wasting time, and he needed to move on. after about 45 min, Mark said, he needed to collect $125 from me, "for the consultation. " We gave him a check, for $125, but we were amazed, that he did absolutely nothing. No measuring, no working on a plan or an estimate. We called three other companies who all came, measured, gave us their time, and charged nothing for that. I contacted mark, and told him i felt this charge was not earned, because 1) he said nothing about it initially. and 2) he did not really advance the project, or give us anything we could use. He declined returning the $125 fee, because he said, he "spent his time there. ". Thats what was required of any company who gives an estimate, or an initial consultation. I would say, go with someone else. These guys are a bit full of their full of their own importance.
